This was a hurry and pick a place decision, and I'm so happy that we ended up here. The atmosphere is very nice and the server that we had was very attentive. I ordered the southern most pasta, which I enjoyed. My only complaint is that a little more sauce on the pasta would have been great, but it's not something that I would consider an actual issue. There isn't anything in this restaurant that is not good. I LOVE the seafood dip served with bread. It's fabulous. My favorite is the Drew's Hash. Sausage with roasted potatoes and the best creamy sauce you've ever imagined. And of course the pasta. I had a great experience dining here! I ordered the Pasta Grill Sampler that included a big portion of Spinach Artichoke dip, 3 mozzarella sticks, and 3 fried raviolis. For the entree I got the Southern Most Pasta that was delicious and filling. Lastly, I got the cannoli which was absolutely amazing and rich! Just go eat there. It is all good! We ate crawfish dip, spaghetti, lasagna, the Southern Pasta....all wonderful. Our waitress did a great job, and we left stuffed. Garlic bread and marinara while you wait is just a bonus. Went back today Nov 2016. Food was amazing again and this time we ordered the white chocolate creme brûlée- holy crap it was good! Completely unprofessional. I was supposed to pick up an order at 7:23. I understand restaurants get busy but I was completely blown off. It's almost an hour later and I still don't have my order for my customer. My time has been tied up and I have been unable to accept any more deliveries, costing me money. Pasta Grill has a very wide menu with some great Italian dishes. Of course I chose to with good old spaghetti (angel hair) with meat sauce AND meatballs. Food is wonderful! Service not so much! Our reservation was at 745pm, but the party ahead of us took their time leaving so we were not seated until after 8pm. They close at 9pm; therefore, everything was rushed & handled with a heavy sigh any time we asked for anything from our waitress. Was not a fan of my entree but everything else was great. Out waiter Drew was absolutely awesome and didn't skip a beat. Took such good care of us. If only the food was as good as his service. So once we came in there was about a 25 minute wait. Parking sucks to say the least since the location of this place is downtown. This restaurant is TINY so chances of getting stuck with a wait are pretty good. I was led to believe this was an Italian place but after looking at the menu it's clear to see there is a large selection of Cajun style options. Odd combination to have Cajun & Italian. Their Cajun food is far better than their Italian food. I ordered the Tortellini Alfredo. Sauce was very thin and soupy, noodles were a tad undercooked, and the cheese inside had a strong pronounce salty/bitter flavor. I hate to say it but I've made better at home. My wife's meal was a Cajun Shrimp Angelhair pasta dish that was actually fantastic. I was kinda jealous. Our friend had some kind of green pasta she ate maybe a 1/4 of. She said it was bland and flavorless. I will say their Calamari is knock out delicious and the bread w/ marinara sauce was great. I might give this place another shot since my wife seemed to really enjoy it but for my Italian pasta cravings, I'm going elsewhere. read more

We tried Pasta Grill recently when my husband had an interview candidate in town and we wanted to take her out with colleagues to good food in a relaxing, pleasant environment. We had never been here, but a few people my husband works with suggested it, and we were so pleased! We made a reservation for a Tuesday night in Conway for seven people, and we were glad we did. By 6 p.m. the place was filling up, and when we left after 7 p.m., there were many parties waiting. And we can see why it's popular! The food was DELICIOUS. I had the portabella mushroom ravioli, which came stacked like a beautiful, creamy napoleon. I was halfway through it when I realized it is the kind of food I'll crave in the future. There will be mornings I will wake up and dedicate my day to getting back to Pastra Grill's mushroom ravioli. My husband had the chicken cheesecake. He was intrigued by the idea of a savory cheesecake, which the waitress explained to be like a quiche. The portion was HUGE. But it looked delicious, and he said it was. I had a glass of the Coppola Claret, which was reasonably priced, too. A few in our party had dessert as well, and they looked amazing, a huge piece of chocolate cake and the lemon tart, both of which I hope to try in the future (when I can split them with six or eight friends). The food is delicious, but it is heavy and rich. There were even vegetarian options. There is no caprese salad on the menu (sadness) and they don't have club soda. I can live with these issues. We'll definitely be back, maybe the night before I have a 20-mile long run. read more

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants in Conway, but the last few times we've gotten take out it has been horrible!!! I didn't write a review before because I knew they were busy, and people make mistakes. But tonight was the last straw. We ordered 2 entrees that were ok, but the Italian Nachos...horrible!!!! They used to come with a cream sauce, avocado slices, lots of chicken, sour cream and sliced green onions, but tonight ours only came with a little chicken, one (seriously, only one sliver of a green onion), chips, cheese and a few tomato slices!!!!! No cream sauce, avocado slices, no sour cream, almost no green onions and very little chicken!!!! But the last straw was having a hair in my food!!!!! Oh my GOSH!!!! Needless to say, it was in my last bite. Ugh. I called and asked to speak to a manager. They said he wasn't there, so I left my name and number. When she asked what it was pertaining to I told her my complaint and said I even had the hair in a ziplock bag with food still entwined. She said the manager would call me back in the morning and he would likely give me a gift certificate. I politely said, "I don't want a gift certificate cause we WON'T be back!" This is the 3rd or 4th time we've had bad take out and never complained, or reviewed, but this was just too much. I hate it cause we used to LOVE this place. :( read more

The food was fantastic and affordable. Our total came out to $25 (including the tip) for a party of 2. I got the lasagna, it was very well cooked and tasty! Even though the foyer was full and the line was outside when we arrived, our wait time was only 20 minutes. So, good there. The service was amazing. She came back to check in with us several times but not too much. One thing: it was freeeeeezing cold where we were sitting (in the very back) which made it hard to get comfortable. Being new to Conway, I asked several people what was their favorite restaurant here in Conway. 9 out of 10 said Pasta Grill. Sooo we tried it. We can see why they said PASTA GRILL. For the price, not particularly impressed. Had its pros and cons and I'll detail what I thought so bear with me, if you want - Went with my father and my boyfriend. My father was in town to help me move and it was his first time meeting my boyfriend so we wanted somewhere a little nicer since it was a special-ish occasion. My father ordered calamari and cheese bread as appetizers. We all agreed the calamari was average and the cheese bread was severely underwhelming. It was like they cut a loaf in half and melted a swirled cheese stick on top. With our entrées, we all had salads - my boyfriend and I had Ceasar salads and my father had the lemon. The Ceasar wasn't anything exceptional as any Ceasar, but the lemon was pretty amazing! My father even asked for the recipe. The entrées were plated nicely, but lacked in flavor. I had chicken parmigiana with fettuccine alfredo. Why? I don't know, that was definitely my bad. The dish was dull and had very obviously been sitting for some time. I did not mention this to the waiter because I thought I could move past it. I couldn't. My boyfriend had lasagna, which he said wasn't that great but not bad either. Something about the way it was put together with the sauce being mostly on top and not within the layers was unappealing to him. My father's dish was once again the superior dish. He ordered the maple balsamic glazed pork with grits and broccoli (I think it was broccoli, I don't remember). The pork was very tender and flavorful, and the grit cake was as unappealing as you'd expect - though not as unappealing as regular runny grits. As far as atmosphere, it's dimly lit and the booths were uncomfortable wooden benches. We kept getting knocked by the people behind us and I could barely reach the table, however I'm pretty small. It was also kind of cramped and the couples across from us wouldn't stop staring which made for a very strange experience, but that's not the restaurant's fault (LOL). I can't not shout out our server. Our server was fantastic. He was friendly and very knowledgable about the menu. He was able to recommend items and explain dishes we had questions about. He was also very patient when I told him I was kind of bummed about our meal. He said we hadn't ordered their signature pieces, which were much more exciting, and that we might try some other dishes on our next visit. It seemed genuine so we agreed we'd give them another shot in the future. He and my father even had a nice conversation about their similar interests which was fun! All in all, didn't meet my expectations but not so much that I wouldn't give it a second chance or recommend that someone try it themselves. If you look at my reviews, I give a lot of 5-Stars. If I come across a non-worthy restaurant, I will definitely let you all know. With that said, Past Grill is FANTASTIC! My friends and I share their sampler with spinach-artichoke dip, mozzarella sticks, and fried cheese raviolis. All were delicious. For dinner, I had the (bountiful portion) chicken Parmesan with fettuccine Alfredo. When I go to a new Italian restaurant I've never been to, I almost always get the chicken Parmesan. They did not disappoint. Every morsel eaten. My friends got the aged ribeye (medium temp) and it was cooked PERFECTLY. I tried a bite of it and I kinda wished I had gotten that. LOL My other friend got pesto penne pasta and she said it was fabulous. I did not try any because it has mushrooms and I am not a fan of those. If you are in the area and want a great meal and reasonably priced, please consider the Pasta Grill. I would call ahead and see if they are on a wait and make a reservation. Very friendly staff, quick service! The only thing I would like to see here is expansion. The seating is basically one long rectangle, which causes a longer waiting period. So, if you're planning to go for supper on a busy night, I would suggest going about 30 minutes earlier than you usually would! But, it's a fabulous restaurant! read more

Great atmosphere. Really great remodeling job. OK staff. Food: Wife ordered the fillet which is their premium $35+ item on the menu. It was uneatable. I questioned if it was even beef. I have never tasted a piece of meat so bad. My dog did eat it when I went home. My spaghetti was not fully cooked. When talking with waitress about this she just said she was sorry and went on her way. We politely left and fed Fido at home having to eat somewhere else that evening. Big wallet hit with bad food. Went here for lunch and loved it. I had the southerner pasta (crawfish shrimp mushroom fettuccini). It was great. Nice and spicy too. Service was great. They brought out toasty bread and warm home made marinara for dipping. That was a nice touch. My boyfriend had a penne pasta with spinach cream sauce with chicken and mushrooms. He said his was great too. They have a nice wine list too. Pricing was reasonable too. For lunch my pasta was $9.99. I think it's around $13 for dinner. read more

Somehow, this is both the best and worst restaurant in Conway. The food is incredible. It's the only Italian place in town, and it is as good or better than any Italian restaurant in Central AR. But you better not be in a hurry. Lines are out the door. We try and order take out about once a month. I've literally been calling every minute for 30 minutes starting just before they open at 5 pm. This is easily one of my favorite go-to restaurants in town. The food is always excellent and we've never had a problem with the service, even on busier nights. The Southern Most pasta and Jambalaya Pasta are my favorites and the Shrimp and Grits are my fiancé's absolute favorite in town. I've heard so many good things about other dishes on the menu, but we love these so much it's hard for us to change it up!
