It in a strip mall, plenty of safe parking and service staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They also have homemade Italian favorites and holiday specialties. It will become a favorite stop.

We started with a misto salad and it was really nice with mixed greens, very fresh sweet tomatoes and some shaved parm with a light oil and vinegar dressing. It was also accompanied by some fresh bread. Great start to our meal. Now the tough decision, what kind of pie to order. After a lot of discussion and the fact that we didn't have a place to store extra pizza on our trip the next day we settled on a no sauce pizza, prosciutto rucola. As you can see by the pictures, there is a lot of prosciutto on this pie. So you would think it would be very salty, nope. The smoked and regular mozzarella really tone down the saltiness. Plus the peppery taste of the arugula really balances out this incredible pie. With six slices to a pie, for us this was a perfect amount of an entree as we were looking forward to the cannoli to finish off our dinner. While I didn't take a picture of the cannoli, it was very good as well. Overall, I am glad we were staying on the western edge of Schaumburg and finally were able to stop in an enjoy some of the best Napoli had to offer.

It's about $12 for the cheapest of these. Best one is the Campari with orange juice. It's about $12 for the Marinara Pizza. Great thing about it is this is vegan friendly. This is topped with extra virgin olive oil, garlic, and oregano. Is just enough for one person without getting full. The rest of the pizza styles are also good. Great place we could go to again. It's located on Barrington at Holmes. There's plenty of pizzas including something for vegans.

There was nothing extraordinary about the sandwich. Shaved beef on a bun. That's it. As basic as it gets. It was lacking any type of flavor, so I tried to dress it up with salt and pepper, which only helped marginally. I sat down at a table, not more than 15 feet away from where the owner was leaning against the counter. Not once did he check in with me to see if I enjoyed the food. I was still the only customer. I think, even if I really enjoyed the food, which I did not, I would not return to this restaurant based on the attitude of the owner alone. He does not know how to run a business, much less make Italian food.

This place is a real dive. I will tell you a little story of the Rude, Ignorant Owner. Placed an order for pizza when my wife brought it home about a third of the pizza was black/burned.That's not my idea of a good pizza. I called the owner and he was combative on the phone and said bring the pizza back he would replace it. At the store I showed him the burned section and then he began to get more irate and was touching and throwing the pizza around and stated that's how pizza is made. I said really, then how come the last two pizza's we ordered were fine. Then when I rebutted his ignorance he stated it's the oven's fault. Then his behavior went beyond ignorant to plain belligerent. I then asked for a refund and the Owner proceeded to throw the pizza at me and a profanity laden outburst he went off on saying I get no refund take your pizza and get the F**k out of my store. I stood there and asked him if he had a mental issue or was this his normal behavior treating paying customers this way. He then proceeded to go hide in the corner like a weasel. We ate here one time before 10 years ago and never went back because of the pasta dish laden with sauce and nasty tasting. So I thought we would try their pizzas. Never again. Shame on the nasty Owner and his horrible service and lack of professionalism. This happened towards the end of summer this year and I had to write this review to inform the public. I never received my $ 22 refund I left the pizza there with the Police after they were called from the psychotic Owners outburst . He was a big man hiding and swearing in the restaurant but never came out to stand up like a man. Not sure where these positive reviews are coming from ? must be buddies and paid off reviews if you look through all the reviews you can see more comments about this Owners behavior. I also contacted the Bartlett chamber of commerce and found out that Pasta Mia was removed and not in there for many years. Gee, I wonder why. Seems to me a reputable business would be part of that . Enjoy the $ 22 dollars that you basically stole from me. read more

I rarely write reviews on restaurants but I felt that this one is important, I hope they see it and make a few improvements because it has the potential of being a really great restaurant! 1. I like some of their items on the menu - their pizza is good. 2. A lot of their pasta dishes are sickeningly packed with garlic - it's overpowering! They also add a lot of salt - not a healthy choice for an indulgence. 3. When I dropped in one day to get take out, the guy behind the counter (looked like a manager by the way he was dressed -- but very young) was more focused on chatting with his friends who were sitting at the bar than taking care of my order. He wandered off to chat with someone else and I had to wait for quite a length of time before he could get back between the cash register and the kitchen window to finish my transaction. That put me off completely. I haven't been back for a take out since then. 4. They need a new phone. 5. On the positive side (and why I gave them an extra star), is the fact that they delivery fairly quickly. Pasta Mia can be a really good restaurant. That young bunch just need a good manager who understands the importance of customer service. read more

As I said before, this Owner is a mental case and needs to be in a psycho ward for some serious treatment. I will keep writing my review so it is never forgotten what this lunatic did to us. Ordered pizza and when we received pizza it was burned very bad. I took it back and showed the Owner and he said I was crazy that's the way we make pizza then he changed his tune to say the oven caused it to burn, well duh of course the oven caused it. Then after he put his hands all over my pizza throwing the pieces around he angrily said I'll make you a new one. I then said I want a refund I no longer want your pizza. That's when he began yelling and swearing and gave me neither a refund or a replacement pizza after he put his hands all over it. At this point I started to become irritated with this little 5 ft tall troglodyte and confronted the little weasel and just as suspected he ran back inside to hide along with his muscle bound helper who thought he was captain America. So why does yelp keep deleting my comments on this dump. The Ignorant Owner is a small little feeble man. They burned my pizza and when I returned the pizza he smashed his hands all over the pizza and said it was the ovens fault. We received pizza's before not burned. I asked for a refund since this ignorant rude Owner made his remarks. Then he slammed my pizza down and told me I'm not getting any refund or another pizza. This must be all his buddies leaving positive reviews here because just about 5 months ago there was about 25 negative bad reviews about the crappy food quality and the ignorant attitude of the Owner. Eat elsewhere in Bartlett that gives good quality food and respects the PAYING CUSTOMER. Remember Mr. Owner you get back what you dish out with karma. read more

Horrible place of business they are very racist even if they do not show it I was assaulted and attacked on 8.23.2022 because the lady couldn't hear my name right on the phone which is a simple fix the owner Peter v Caruso had one of his employees come choke me until I almost died I literally have never been choked this hard in my life all over my name being heard wrong he said a lot of racist remarks to me before it happened and when the guy started to choke me they stood around me like they were waiting for me to die it was the most horrifying thing I could of went through all over me trying to support his business he was very racist and he does not like black people or course he will take your money but you need to watch out for people like him he's no good. read more

We have lived in Bartlett for 15+ years & have never experience such disgusting behavior from local business owner . Their antics are shameful & the trauma they caused my family is unbearable . I do not recommend this restaurant! The owner Peter and his staff were very unprofessional tonight as well as displayed acts of racism! I witnessed a young black man be choked by the hands of Peter and his associates as well as have a shoe thrown at him! The young man showed no threat to these group of staff members they had no right to jump him he simply was trying to pick up his food! I will be boycotting this restaurant and I suggest you do the same if you are a person that stands for what is right, especially if you are a person of color! My son was assaulted tonight in this restaurant. My son was chocked & jumped. The incident was captured on video. One man was arrested. Peter should've also been arrested because he made the first threat. Then my son was chocked from behind. I will be boycotting this restaurant until justice is served. A hate crime in tape. We decided to give it a try because, for once, we figured we'd stay somewhat local instead of making our usual 45 minute drive into Chicago for dinner. Lesson learned. First, our waitress Jasmin was nice and did her job. I want to make that clear because the customer service issue at the end was not really with her. We ordered a small veggie pizza with sausage and pepperoni on HALF because my wife doesn't eat sausage or pepperoni. Pretty straightforward request. We were told about 25 minutes for the pizza. It was closer to 35, but honestly, no big deal. We ordered a Caesar salad, bread and a few beers while we waited. We also ordered the baked cavatelli to share. The pasta itself had a good texture, but the sauce was nothing special. I probably should have asked what exactly it was baked with because I wasn't expecting the runny ricotta that came with it. Eventually the pizza and pasta arrived together. Jasmin even pointed out the half of the pizza that supposedly didn't have meat. Plot twist: there was no meatless half. The entire pizza had sausage and pepperoni. We literally went through every slice looking for this mysterious vegetarian half. Apparently it existed only in spirit. The small pizza had six slices. I was hungry and had already waited 35 minutes, so I ate three slices, exactly half of the pizza. My wife ate the pasta because she couldn't eat her half of the pizza. I wasn't interested in sitting there hungry for another 35 minutes waiting for them to start over. We ordered everything to share, so at least one of us might as well eat the pizza. We told Jasmin, she agreed it was made incorrectly and said she would let the kitchen know. Rather than extending dinner another 35 minutes for Pizza Attempt #2, we asked for a small cheese pizza to go. We figured my wife could eat it when we got home and that would resolve the whole thing. Then the bill arrived. There was a charge for the cheese pizza. I told Jasmin I thought there must have been a misunderstanding because we assumed the cheese pizza was replacing the half of the original pizza my wife couldn't eat. She explained that management wouldn't do that because we had "clearly eaten" the other pizza. Well, yes. I ate three slices. Exactly half of a six slice pizza. The half that was supposed to have sausage and pepperoni in the first place. My wife's half was the half they got wrong. I jokingly told Jasmin that had I known the rules of this pizza negotiation beforehand, I would have gladly surrendered the remaining three slices and asked management to replace them with half a cheese pizza. Apparently I should have preserved the evidence. Jasmin told us that if it were up to her, she would have just given us the replacement pizza, but management made the decision not to. The best part? We never actually met a manager. Nobody came to our table. Nobody asked what happened. Nobody apologized. Nobody tried to fix it. Management apparently reviewed the Great Pizza Case of 2026 from an undisclosed location and determined that because I ate exactly my half of their incorrectly made pizza, my wife could either pay for another pizza or go without. We chose go without. We took the leftover pasta home, left the remaining half of the incorrect pizza sitting there and walked out without the cheese pizza. We still tipped Jasmin well because I'm not going to punish the waitress for a decision she didn't make. As for the food itself, the pizza was incredibly bland. The sauce had almost no flavor. We passed Pal Joey's, Riverview Pizza and Ella's on the way there, all places we've eaten at and enjoyed, and afterward we were wondering why we didn't just stop at one of them. I hate to say it, but Pizza Hut has more flavor in its sauce. Then, apparently determined to make one more bad decision tonight, I read the recent Yelp reviews AFTER dinner. Those probably should have been our warning not to step foot in the place. Mistakes happen. If they had made the pizza wrong, apologized and simply replaced the half my wife couldn't eat, I probably wouldn't even be writing this review two hours later. Instead, management somehow managed to turn three slices of a small pizza into the most memorable part of the evening. Unfortunately, the food wasn't nearly as memorable. This was our first and absolutely our last visit to Salerno's on the Fox. Between the bland food and management's handling of something that should have been incredibly easy to fix, there's no reason for us to ever come back. And just to be clear, I wouldn't eat here again even if management offered me a free cheese pizza. Although apparently that's not something I need to worry about.

Even if it's for just an appetizer, we will get a small and split it up for the table. Really outstanding flavor, great sauce, the "undercarriage" always crispy, and great flavorful cheese. We have gone up and down the menu from appetizers to the main dishes and I've been happy every single dish. As an appetizer, I highly recommend the calamari. With a light batter it's serve with marinara sauce and lemon. We've never seen them overdone or rubbery, which all to common. Ask for a little bottle of Tabasco if you want to add a little heat or kick. The main dishes. Spectacular chicken Vesuvio, chicken Parmesan, chicken Marsala, etc... All Solid! The Italian beef and beef/combo w/ sausage are delicious and quite frankly monstrous. Wow, do you get a lot for your portion here. I would definitely recommend one for that beefy hitter. For me, it's a the beef combo, dipped, with Giardinara, and a side of Au jus. And maybe broil a little provolone on top, if I'm feeling fancy. And honestly, the cakes and desserts are astonishing. The chocolate cake is so delicious and decadent and rich. OMG, I could just go in for a nice coffee and a chocolate cake and I'd be happy. In all, five stars for this place. We were served a really great crusty Italian bread and butter when we sat down. The restaurant was well staffed. Each of us had a good amount of leftovers to bring home. Prices are in line with other Italian restaurants in the area. Even a little less expensive. The server dropped off our bill. I usually don't look through the bill. My bad. This time I wanted to be sure we were charged the Special $8.00 Vodka Rigatoni special and not the regular $12.00 price for the dinner. My instincts were right. Our server charged us the $12.00 regular price. We asked a busser to find our server so she could correct it. We waited about 10 minutes for her to come back. She printed off a new bill with the corrected amount. I've had this happen to me before at other restaurants. I'm always a little skeptical about whether it was an honest mistake or if the server was trying to pull one over on us. I did not subtract any stars from my review since the amount was corrected, Husband reported that the Men's room was immaculate. We plan to return. We were happy with our experience.

Fast forward to today, I was returning for a 2.5 hour drive and thought I'd treat myself to a delicious pizza for today and preparing for tomorrows incoming snow storm. I picked the pizza up and headed home. Sadly, I should have checked it there before leaving...the bacon was all burnt (tasted burnt not just looked burnt). Yes, I did pick off most of the burnt bacon, but got $30+ for a picked up pizza that is not really ok with me ... beyond that the crust was soggy and I couldn't really pick up the pieces to eat them. It will be an extremely long time before I order or go there again. Makes me very sad as this used to be a staple of mine and it is SOOOO close to home. Good luck if you choose to give them a try...

Maybe one time for each pizza? Either way, the pizzas were ready in a half hour, as promised. Seen on the menu that an XL pizza is $22. The toppings must be obnoxiously expensive as my 3 pizzas came out to a total bill of $110. Shame on me for not keeping the receipt. Would definitely get that Specialty pizza again if I didn't think that was the wallet buster. I'm certain it was.
