I really like the pizza at this location. I ordered the special that came with sausage, green pepper, mushroom, and onion. The pizza was pretty cheesy, had great tasting sauce, and was easy to eat on the sturdy crust. My friend ordered a shrimp pasta special dish and shared that it was very bland, even after she added salt, pepper, and parmesan cheese. I was glad I opted for the delicious pizza. A highlight of the meal was the tiramisu, apparently an old family recipe. It was more than enough for two people to share. The service was very fast and really friendly. Our server shared about an upcoming event and a special tasting menu. It was a nice, quiet, and classic ambiance and an easy place to hold a conversation. I was there for dinner tonight for the first time and I have to say it was a great experience. From the waitstaff being knowledgeable with the menu and how delicious the food was. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! We took our friends to lunch at RoccoVino's for their first time and they were very impressed both with both the quality of the food and the service. Upon arrival we received freshly baked hot bread along with olive oil and parmesan cheese which is hard to come by anymore. Our friend, who is Italian, was impressed with his carbonara and his wife loved her chicken marsala. My husband had their spaghetti bowl with marvelous meatballs. My veal parmigiana was tough, but that is my only complaint. It seems today that is unusual to receive soup or salad with your meal that is not an additional charge, but we did. My group walked in for a casual lunch after finding out another restaurant which we frequent had changed its hours and was closed until dinner. It took a couple of minutes for someone to recognize we were waiting for a table, but once we were seated, the server was prompt and attentive. My mother ordered catering for pickup (appetizers and a meal for 20) from here for my baby shower and it was absolutely amazing; the service and food (temperature, quantity, and taste) were just perfect. The order was not only spot on (no mistakes or not as described) but everything was as hot and crispy as expected, and looked just like the photos. The favorites of the entire party (including some children) and this very pregnant woman, were the fried ravioli, the vodka rigatoni pasta, and the chicken caprese. That chicken caprese was straight-out-of-Italy and the rock star of the meal my Italian Aunt said. We highly recommend this restaurant. Management is rude, which is why we stopped going. Elk Grove location is much better. However, Carol Stream is much closer to Bartlett. I order off the catering menu to pick up on Christmas Eve to serve on Christmas Day I ordered 3lbs of Italian beef. The tray was stuffed into a cardboard box, very tight and hard to get it out. The beef leaked in the box before I placed it in my car, flat! The hot giardinara also leaked from the foil container into the brown bag. The sweet green peppers were more like over cooked fajita peppers, not good. I was given 24 pieces of French bread for the sandwiches, they were so stale they could not be used. As a caterer you should have suggested to keep the loaves of bread uncut. I ordered 1 lb of Italian cookies, what I got were cheap sugar cookies probably from Jewel. I gave those away. Lesson learned, will not utilize your catering again. Next time it will be Buona Beef! read more

The service here is attentive and very friendly. They sat us down as a party of 10 within 2 minutes. There weren't too many people in the restaurant on a Monday night. The table comes with warm bread, fresh artisan olive oil and Parmesan cheese. I got the chicken risotto which was full of flavor and surprisingly had a lot of vegetables in it. There were mushrooms, lots of pieces of broccoli and tomatoes. The risotto was a little oily but I loved the garlicy flavor that reminded me of Asian stir fry. You get a side which you can choose between soup or salad. I got the salad and it was a good portion with lots of different dressings you can pick from. Maybe it was because we had a large party, but it did take quite some time before the food came out. Definitely shows that they are detail oriented because the main dishes were all brought out in unison so some people weren't waiting for others to get their dishes. My bf got the salmon which was decent for the price. The portion of salmon was pretty small compared to the other dishes like chicken Marsala or steak, but it did come with 2 sides. Overall a good Italian chain with lots of options, from pizza to ribs to seafood to pasta. There's plenty tho of parking spots in the strip mall around the restaurant. We had a great lunch at RoccoVinos today! This was a beautiful place to spend time catching up with my best friend of 50 years. I was happy that we were able to hear each other since some places can be rather noisy. This was my first time there and I thought the food was flavorful and my friend thought the stuffed eggplant was so good and plentiful! We both brought leftovers home. They were pretty good. For the main course, I got the rigatoni vodka and wife got a seafood medley dish. Both were very tasty. Throw in a few beers, and we are all very full. I liked the place. Very quiet (we were there around 2pm), and our server was very nice. We tipped her well, and we were on our way. We noticed another table that ordered a salmon dish and it looked outstanding. My husband and I went to RoccoVino's last night for a casual Tuesday night dinner. We are new to the area and were pleasantly surprised to find this gem! We were seated quickly and served water and warm crusty bread immediately. Our waitress, Christine, was friendly and professional. We ordered a glass of wine and the sausage & pepper appetizer. The serving was abundant and delicious. For our entree, we shared the grilled chicken special, which included two generous pieces of grilled chicken, artichokes, zucchini, red onions, and carrots in a marsala wine sauce. Maybe it's just the fact that I am a chef but I find it hard to go out and pay for pasta which costs so little to just make at home. I guess I am just a bit biased about the whole thing going into it. It was a rainy day and we were the only people in the place and yet it took a surprisingly long time to get the drink order and the side soup that we started with. We weren't in a hurry so It didn't really bother me too much. We ordered the pepperoni panzerotti, a salad that had grilled shrimp, and the eggplant parm sammie. I ordered the panzerotti (one of my personal favorites) and it was pretty good with fresh sauce and lots of cheese but needs more pepperoni. The salad looked nice but was pretty basic rabbit food. The same goes for the eggplant parm. It was ok but not memorable and just missing something. All in all it was an ok experience but not great. Needless to say I have had better. Maybe next time Ill actually try the pasta or the pizza. Hopefully that will make up for the so-so first experience. read more
