I hate to give bad reviews, but I needed to update my previous review of this place. It's been a while since I came back from the first time I came here, and I don't know if I'll be coming back. I placed a DoorDash order for ASAP pickup of a 16" pizza. Placed the order at 4:35 pm with an ETA of 15-20 minutes. The app said it should be ready before 5 pm. Keep in mind, I intentionally placed the order early so that my 2 year old would have food at her normal dinner time. When I entered the restaurant, there were a few customers who didn't know what's going on. Neither did I. There wasn't anyone at the cashier's area. I had to flag the lady down to ask about my order. This was around 4:50 ish, so I don't mind waiting 10 minutes for my pizza. However, at 5, they didn't even start making my pizza, let alone put it in the oven. It's not until 5:21 pm that the pizza finally made its way out of the oven. It was disappointingly slow. Good news, though, I was able to write this review while I waited for my pizza and I finally got out of there by 5:23 pm. Also, one more thing to note, it felt like they were definitely short staffed and the person who was taking the orders at the front was also the person who was making the pizza. However, I noticed that she didn't use any gloves when making the pizza after transitioning from taking orders nor did I see her wash her hands. Just for that reason alone I don't know if I'd be coming back or would I recommend this place.

In-laws felt like Italian and this place had very high reviews. I would categorize this as "American Italian" and this isn't a bad thing, just know what to expect and don't compare this to what you had in Italy. They let you build your own pizza and pasta so it's a bit mis en place to customize your order to however you want. There is an "IG wall" you can take pictures at but it's located in a tiny normal strip mall and besides the website and social media pictures a pretty normal restaurant. Margherita Pizza :Tomato, Ricotta, Fresh Basil. Very sparse ricotta on this and felt like not enough cheese was used, see pictures. Cacio e Pepe: Spaghetti noodles, Pecorino Romano, Parmigiano, Olive Oil and Black Pepper. With sausage added, it was OK, too al dente and slightly under cooked. Rigatoni with Meatballs: This one I wish we ordered more of, we got it for the kids but I tried some and it tasted great.

I was told about this place a long time ago by a family member who lived in the area at the time, but had since moved away. So, really no reason for me to visit after that. Came across it again on a shopping trip for pet food and thought I'd stop by finally. Location: On the corner of Glassell and Lincoln Ave it's in a small strip mall with a private parking lot, but shared. Customer service is good and the ambiance was like walking onto a sidewalk cafe for a break after a shopping trip. Food: I wasn't feeling brave enough to chose my own plate, so I went with their braised beef ravioli in pink sauce. Wasn't expecting the mush like consistency of the filling, but I couldn't fault them the freshness of their pasta. There's just a taste you get from fresh made pasta you don't get with packaged ones. The pink sauce was divine and i liked it. Larger appetites will think the serving too small, but was just right for me since I had garlic bread. 8/10 The garlic bread wasn't my favorite. Too much oil/butter on the bread and not enough time in the oven or on the pan for a crust on the top. I was given the option of cheese on top but i passed on it. Maybe i should have gotten the cheese on top as that might have given me a crust on top of the bread. Summary: I left full and satisfied except for that garlic bread. Maybe next time I'll branch out and build my own next time. The menu looks inviting with endless combination possibilities. Adding a protein to your dish will be an extra charge. Build your own pizza is also available tool (They have signature pizzas too). However, sandwiches are not build. your own. Cute little place, just too bad it's so far away as I love pasta. Still reasonable prices for what you get and best of all:mom and pop shop. Happy Eating!!!

Pasta Trio (Rigatoni in pink sauce, spaghetti in Alfredo sauce, and penne in pesto sauce)

My boyfriend and I went on a Tuesday night and we got the pasta trio! First of all, the service was incredible, the lady there was so helpful and sweet. The food was also incredible. The pasta and sauces were sooo good. They were just right, they didn't make me feel all nasty after the fact, like some pastas do. The place was also nice! It wasn't busy so there was a good amount of open tables. I would definitely recommend dining in if you can help it. This is a MUST TRY and I will be going again!!

What can I say? I wanted carbs for lunch! Ordered a braised short rib pasta, meat lover pizza, and garlic bread. The one thing I was really eyeing was the pasta. The short ribs in there were so tender. They have nice pieces lathered onto the noodles. The noodles were nice and bouncy. They are wide and long, so fun to eat and just delicious. Would order this again! The meat lover pizza was amazing. My kids loved it, nice thin crush, nicely layered with cheese and just an overall yummy pizza. The garlic bread was a 6/10 not crazy over them. Service was good, the gal who took my order was down to earth. I waited about 15 mins until my entire order was done . Not too bad for all that food. Casual dining area and plenty of indoor seating along the wall. There is more seating towards the back as well. I love the different artwork highlighting Orange County. Super neat to look at.

I came to this place because of their reviews, but was disappointed in my experience. The restaurant was nearly empty while we were there and it took 45 minutes for our food to be ready. I understand people have off days, but the staff wasn't very friendly and seemed annoyed when asked questions (ie asked for a water cup because none were available). Braised beef ravioli - 6/10, beef was flavorful, sauce was bland BOYP (pappardelle, pink sauce, and sausage) - 3/10, the up charges on this felt excessive (ie $2 for pappardelle + $3 for pink sauce + $3.50 for sausage), the sauce was not flavorful, the pasta was cooked well, sausage was okay Garlic bread - 2/10, no garlic flavor I am tempted to try their pizza in the future, but would not re-order pasta. The price for the meal we ordered was not justified during this dining experience.

So this restaurant is a little hidden gem. If you like homemade pasta, well this place is for you. We ordered the three pasta special (penne pasta with creamy pesto, cacioe e peppe and added bacon, and braised beef pasta). We also had the chopped salad. Just delicious. The staff was great and hard working. We will definitely return....who wouldn't.

I came here with family. We all enjoyed our food and service. My sister ordered the cheese ravioli and said it was one of the best cheese ravioli dishes she has had. My mom ordered the cacio e pepe and enjoyed it. I ordered the parpadelle beef pasta and was blown away. Both my boyfriend and mom tried it and said my dish was the best. Big portion sizes. Like a normal pizzeria with seating into the back so it's not a romantic spot or overly picturesque. There's a parking lot which is convenient. Service was friendly and quick. They have a surcharge for using credit cards. Penne In pink sauce and sausage 8/10 Chicken parmigiana with spaghetti 9/10 Beef braised ravioli 9/10 - all the pastas were a bit on the salty side (prob the pink sauce) 12" pizza with half deluxe 10/10 They have a self serve soda machine but you do have to pay for a cup; they do offer water but it doesn't taste good at all. Their soda machine is all cream based drinks so if you don't like those I would bring your own water.

Food was delicious, but service was even better. The restaurant felt very homey and welcoming and the mini vespas were a nice touch. Alex recommended the short rib pasta, beef braised ravioli, or gnocchi and I opted for the short rib pasta. It was a generous portion and the pappardelle and short rib were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Alex, chef Fabio, and the rest of the team were great because you can really feel the love that was put into the food and restaurant. I will definitely be back!

My husband, our 3 boys and i stayed at a local hotel so we chose this place for dinner based off the yelp reviews. I'm happy we did because they did not disappoint. Luckily we were the only ones dining in. It's in a strip mall so it's not that big inside but cute little cozy space with friendly staff. The food was even better! Their beef braised pasta was so good! I highly recommend. My husband and I split that with a Cesar salad and we were stuffed. If I'm ever in the OC I will definitely go back

Tried Pasta Party for the first time and it definitely won't be my last. The ambience is clean, chill, and really comfortable, perfect spot to relax and enjoy a good meal. The customer service was phenomenal from start to finish. The cashier was friendly and welcoming, and even the pizza maker checked in with us to see if we had any questions about the menu, which I really appreciated. We ordered the fettuccine with pesto sauce and a margherita pizza with pepperoni. The pizza was incredible the cheese tasted high quality and made every bite super satisfying. The pasta was just as impressive. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and it was so well seasoned that we didn't need to add any extra pepper or anything else. Overall, a great experience with both food and service. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

We got: 1. the pasta trio ( pesto penne, beef ravioli , braised beef pasta ) 2. Caesar salad 3. Garlic bread Pesto was good and creamy! Beef ravioli was in a pink sauce and it was good! The meat inside was delicious ravioli. The braised beef pasta was bomb! It had mushrooms in it as well. The noodles tasted so good with this dish as well. They were flat and think. The sauce was perfect on it! The salad was good! I got the side salad size and it was just enough for two people to share it. The garlic bread was fresh and yummy! Love the atmosphere of this place! Makes you feel very welcomed!

I think I'm in love. This place is pretty new to Orange and I wish it was around sooner. The pastas were fresh, the sauces were seasoned perfectly, and service was fast plus ultra friendly. Okay I just left this place like 15 minutes ago. The guy working the register asked how I had heard about them, if I had tried it before, all this stuff. I'm assuming he's the owner, because no average employee would be this friendly. He said "wait till you try the pizza". Dude this pizza is good. I've driven past this place everyday for years now , but would never go. I will admit, the outside is a turn off. I blame the Orange Liquor store next door. But inside it's super nice. I'm excited to go back, Bc this place is super underrated. Pizza is delicious and the crust .. it's like .. sweet? I don't know how to describe it. It's so good. Must try local spot!!! Forgot to take a picture of the food, but needless to say it was perfect! We got the Lasagna Classica and Spaghetti with Arrabbiata sauce and meatballs. It was the perfect portion, perfect ratio of pasta and sauce, and the flavors were all there and delicious!! The service was great and the owner Alex was very kind! By far the best Margarita pizza I've ever had. I would share a picture but it has now been devoured. Second time eating their margarita pizza. We also ordered the tiramisu and cannolis- amazing! The pink sauce is also amazing as well. Great customer service, Alessandro introduced himself while I was waiting and was very kind. Can't wait to come here weekly it's that amazing. Going to try to gnocchi and Caco de Pepe next. The menu can seem pricy, however it is completely worth it! read more

This place is expensive. But so is everywhere else. The Chicken Alfredo was fresh. But needed a little more flavor. It was a little on the bland side, as was the meats pizza. The owner of this fine establishment should try other places that serve Pizza to see how others are making there's. Ambrose and Pizza Mania come to mind in Santa Fe Springs, and La Mirada. I only visited this place because of Yelp, and it proximity to where I was in town. read more

Customer Service: We ordered via yelp and accidentally got the incorrect dish. Moments later I get a call from the restaurant letting me know they are on the way to drop off the correct order. I didn't even call them, they called me. They must've immediately noticed the error and decide to fix it asap. What!!? I've received wrong orders in the past from other restaurants but I have never received a call to rectify the error. Great customer service! Food: Delicious! So we have ordered from this restaurant twice. First of all the beef ravioli is AMAZING!! If that's all I ever ordered from this restaurant it would be 5 stars, however the other items brought down the ratings. I also ordered the sausage rigatoni in pink sauce. That was good, I wish the susage was crumbled instead of just sliced. Feel like that would give the dish a whole other level of flavor. So unfortunately everything my husband ordered wasn't great. The gnocchi was completely over cooked to the point by the time we got it home it was really mushy. Not sure if it was over cooked to begin with because I don't think steam would have affected the texture that much. The other time he ordered the Italian sandwich. No flavor whatsoever. He gave it a 3. Wasn't impressed with the quality of the cold cuts. Finally the last star was lost because of the tiramisu. The lady fingers were completely lost. Super mushy again. The flavor profile was there but the structure of the dessert didn't hold up against the weight of the filling. Also way too much coco powder on top. read more

Absolutely amazing. Owner is exceptional. Family was here on vacation from Arkansas, we were wanting some pasta and this amazing place showed up and the reviews are just about 5 stars and it's spot on. It should be a perfect 5 stars. The pizza is phenomenal and the pasta is insanely good. I never leave reviews for anything even bad ones but this one deserved it. The seating was great. It was cozy and welcoming. As we were finishing our food the owner came to check on us and had a really good conversation with him. Seems to be a really great person and cares about his business! They don't have coke products. They have "Stubborn Soda" it's 10x better than Coca-Cola. If you are looking for a 10/10 place to eat around Orange definitely try this place. If I lived in the area I would eat here 24/7. Unfortunately, the whole wheat roll was delicious, but the tuna was a little too much on the sweet side (I have a similar complaint with the tuna at Board & Brew). If you're in the mood for a good tuna salad sandwich, I suggest Jersey Mikes. If you're in the mood for any other kind of sandwich and don't mind waiting, go to Cortina's!

It seems there was text on the menu about how to bypass it, but they blocked it out in marker so it's not avoidable.

I have gone the past 2 years and never had issues getting it on the first day. This year was different. I got there around 5:05 and walked into the shop to see a lot of tables empty. I was shocked to see that. I waited in line with maybe like two people in front of me and guess what they asked of Pliny was still available. The guy working said to the people in front of me that they sold out. It was my turn I asked if they had it and the guy said that they had a line since 3pm and that they sold out of the keg. We ended up getting two beers since we went anyways but that's when things didn't add up. He kept telling all the other people that started to show up the same thing. These are reasons why it didn't add up 1) empty seats inside but had a line since 3pm and beer was released at 4pm 2) I don't think the people going for younger would just order one beer and not try other RR beers? 3) only one guy working beer counter and having to clean the tables and make sandwiches? 4) 12 oz pours of beer and keg with about 1984 oz would make it 166 beers. No way they sold 166 beers in an hour with one person working the bar and shop empty in an hour. They could have posted on their instagram or socials that they sold out but failed to do so. I'm sure a lot of people all night were disappointed to see that they didn't have it or post anything about it.

This place is a total gem! We went to celebrate our friend's daughter's 7th birthday and it was an absolutely perfect find. The ambiance is adorable - bright and cheerful with a cozy feel with Italian touches all over the walls. It was perfect for a little birthday gathering. The staff was incredible! We arrived as a group of 15. They were so friendly and accommodating, even helping us out with a candle and some yummy cake treats for my friend's daughter to sing Happy Birthday over. It really made her day extra special. But let's talk about the food! Wow. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The pizza, Bolognese, short rib parpadelle, and chopped salad was spectacular. A little hidden treasure for real Italian food is Pasta Party, both for the delicious food and the adorable interior design. The welcoming owner Alex and all of the staff provide amazing service as well, constantly grinning and making guests feel at home. I've tried the pink sauce with fettuccine sausage and shrimp, which is a fantastic pairing with the rich Alfredo sauce. My gfs and I always stop by here when we visit from out of town. My favorite is the short rib ravioli with pink sauce and the girls always get the gnocchi, which is made in shop. You can taste the freshness and quality ingredients. The restaurant is super adorable with a cute photo op area in the front. The owner, Alexsandro is very accommodating.
