I hate to give bad reviews, but I needed to update my previous review of this place. It's been a while since I came back from the first time I came here, and I don't know if I'll be coming back. I placed a DoorDash order for ASAP pickup of a 16" pizza. Placed the order at 4:35 pm with an ETA of 15-20 minutes. The app said it should be ready before 5 pm. Keep in mind, I intentionally placed the order early so that my 2 year old would have food at her normal dinner time. When I entered the restaurant, there were a few customers who didn't know what's going on. Neither did I. There wasn't anyone at the cashier's area. I had to flag the lady down to ask about my order. This was around 4:50 ish, so I don't mind waiting 10 minutes for my pizza. However, at 5, they didn't even start making my pizza, let alone put it in the oven. It's not until 5:21 pm that the pizza finally made its way out of the oven. It was disappointingly slow. Good news, though, I was able to write this review while I waited for my pizza and I finally got out of there by 5:23 pm. Also, one more thing to note, it felt like they were definitely short staffed and the person who was taking the orders at the front was also the person who was making the pizza. However, I noticed that she didn't use any gloves when making the pizza after transitioning from taking orders nor did I see her wash her hands. Just for that reason alone I don't know if I'd be coming back or would I recommend this place.

In-laws felt like Italian and this place had very high reviews. I would categorize this as "American Italian" and this isn't a bad thing, just know what to expect and don't compare this to what you had in Italy. They let you build your own pizza and pasta so it's a bit mis en place to customize your order to however you want. There is an "IG wall" you can take pictures at but it's located in a tiny normal strip mall and besides the website and social media pictures a pretty normal restaurant. Margherita Pizza :Tomato, Ricotta, Fresh Basil. Very sparse ricotta on this and felt like not enough cheese was used, see pictures. Cacio e Pepe: Spaghetti noodles, Pecorino Romano, Parmigiano, Olive Oil and Black Pepper. With sausage added, it was OK, too al dente and slightly under cooked. Rigatoni with Meatballs: This one I wish we ordered more of, we got it for the kids but I tried some and it tasted great.

I was told about this place a long time ago by a family member who lived in the area at the time, but had since moved away. So, really no reason for me to visit after that. Came across it again on a shopping trip for pet food and thought I'd stop by finally. Location: On the corner of Glassell and Lincoln Ave it's in a small strip mall with a private parking lot, but shared. Customer service is good and the ambiance was like walking onto a sidewalk cafe for a break after a shopping trip. Food: I wasn't feeling brave enough to chose my own plate, so I went with their braised beef ravioli in pink sauce. Wasn't expecting the mush like consistency of the filling, but I couldn't fault them the freshness of their pasta. There's just a taste you get from fresh made pasta you don't get with packaged ones. The pink sauce was divine and i liked it. Larger appetites will think the serving too small, but was just right for me since I had garlic bread. 8/10 The garlic bread wasn't my favorite. Too much oil/butter on the bread and not enough time in the oven or on the pan for a crust on the top. I was given the option of cheese on top but i passed on it. Maybe i should have gotten the cheese on top as that might have given me a crust on top of the bread. Summary: I left full and satisfied except for that garlic bread. Maybe next time I'll branch out and build my own next time. The menu looks inviting with endless combination possibilities. Adding a protein to your dish will be an extra charge. Build your own pizza is also available tool (They have signature pizzas too). However, sandwiches are not build. your own. Cute little place, just too bad it's so far away as I love pasta. Still reasonable prices for what you get and best of all:mom and pop shop. Happy Eating!!!

Pasta Trio (Rigatoni in pink sauce, spaghetti in Alfredo sauce, and penne in pesto sauce)

My boyfriend and I went on a Tuesday night and we got the pasta trio! First of all, the service was incredible, the lady there was so helpful and sweet. The food was also incredible. The pasta and sauces were sooo good. They were just right, they didn't make me feel all nasty after the fact, like some pastas do. The place was also nice! It wasn't busy so there was a good amount of open tables. I would definitely recommend dining in if you can help it. This is a MUST TRY and I will be going again!!

What can I say? I wanted carbs for lunch! Ordered a braised short rib pasta, meat lover pizza, and garlic bread. The one thing I was really eyeing was the pasta. The short ribs in there were so tender. They have nice pieces lathered onto the noodles. The noodles were nice and bouncy. They are wide and long, so fun to eat and just delicious. Would order this again! The meat lover pizza was amazing. My kids loved it, nice thin crush, nicely layered with cheese and just an overall yummy pizza. The garlic bread was a 6/10 not crazy over them. Service was good, the gal who took my order was down to earth. I waited about 15 mins until my entire order was done . Not too bad for all that food. Casual dining area and plenty of indoor seating along the wall. There is more seating towards the back as well. I love the different artwork highlighting Orange County. Super neat to look at.

I came to this place because of their reviews, but was disappointed in my experience. The restaurant was nearly empty while we were there and it took 45 minutes for our food to be ready. I understand people have off days, but the staff wasn't very friendly and seemed annoyed when asked questions (ie asked for a water cup because none were available). Braised beef ravioli - 6/10, beef was flavorful, sauce was bland BOYP (pappardelle, pink sauce, and sausage) - 3/10, the up charges on this felt excessive (ie $2 for pappardelle + $3 for pink sauce + $3.50 for sausage), the sauce was not flavorful, the pasta was cooked well, sausage was okay Garlic bread - 2/10, no garlic flavor I am tempted to try their pizza in the future, but would not re-order pasta. The price for the meal we ordered was not justified during this dining experience.

So this restaurant is a little hidden gem. If you like homemade pasta, well this place is for you. We ordered the three pasta special (penne pasta with creamy pesto, cacioe e peppe and added bacon, and braised beef pasta). We also had the chopped salad. Just delicious. The staff was great and hard working. We will definitely return....who wouldn't.

I came here with family. We all enjoyed our food and service. My sister ordered the cheese ravioli and said it was one of the best cheese ravioli dishes she has had. My mom ordered the cacio e pepe and enjoyed it. I ordered the parpadelle beef pasta and was blown away. Both my boyfriend and mom tried it and said my dish was the best. Big portion sizes. Like a normal pizzeria with seating into the back so it's not a romantic spot or overly picturesque. There's a parking lot which is convenient. Service was friendly and quick. They have a surcharge for using credit cards. Penne In pink sauce and sausage 8/10 Chicken parmigiana with spaghetti 9/10 Beef braised ravioli 9/10 - all the pastas were a bit on the salty side (prob the pink sauce) 12" pizza with half deluxe 10/10 They have a self serve soda machine but you do have to pay for a cup; they do offer water but it doesn't taste good at all. Their soda machine is all cream based drinks so if you don't like those I would bring your own water.

Food was delicious, but service was even better. The restaurant felt very homey and welcoming and the mini vespas were a nice touch. Alex recommended the short rib pasta, beef braised ravioli, or gnocchi and I opted for the short rib pasta. It was a generous portion and the pappardelle and short rib were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Alex, chef Fabio, and the rest of the team were great because you can really feel the love that was put into the food and restaurant. I will definitely be back!

My husband, our 3 boys and i stayed at a local hotel so we chose this place for dinner based off the yelp reviews. I'm happy we did because they did not disappoint. Luckily we were the only ones dining in. It's in a strip mall so it's not that big inside but cute little cozy space with friendly staff. The food was even better! Their beef braised pasta was so good! I highly recommend. My husband and I split that with a Cesar salad and we were stuffed. If I'm ever in the OC I will definitely go back

Tried Pasta Party for the first time and it definitely won't be my last. The ambience is clean, chill, and really comfortable, perfect spot to relax and enjoy a good meal. The customer service was phenomenal from start to finish. The cashier was friendly and welcoming, and even the pizza maker checked in with us to see if we had any questions about the menu, which I really appreciated. We ordered the fettuccine with pesto sauce and a margherita pizza with pepperoni. The pizza was incredible the cheese tasted high quality and made every bite super satisfying. The pasta was just as impressive. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and it was so well seasoned that we didn't need to add any extra pepper or anything else. Overall, a great experience with both food and service. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

We got: 1. the pasta trio ( pesto penne, beef ravioli , braised beef pasta ) 2. Caesar salad 3. Garlic bread Pesto was good and creamy! Beef ravioli was in a pink sauce and it was good! The meat inside was delicious ravioli. The braised beef pasta was bomb! It had mushrooms in it as well. The noodles tasted so good with this dish as well. They were flat and think. The sauce was perfect on it! The salad was good! I got the side salad size and it was just enough for two people to share it. The garlic bread was fresh and yummy! Love the atmosphere of this place! Makes you feel very welcomed!

I wish I could give Pasta Party more stars. Very authentic, quality, fresh, and delicious. You can really tell that they put their heart and soul into every dish. Gnocchi was amazing. My wife said her alfredo was the best she's ever had. And the cannoli....OMG... Do yourself a favor and check this place out! You won't be disappointed. read more

Been to this place twice. Both times I got the short rib parpadelle. First time was good, hence I returned. The second time was dry. There was no sauce at all, and was pretty bland. Not sure what happened. Was pretty disappointed as it was just a bunch of dry carbs for $20. read more

My daughter and I visited the Pasta Party on a Wednesday night just before her college orientation the following day. We were immediately greeted by a friendly cashier. As we perused the menu on the large flat screens he informed us all of the sauces were made in house. We split a pink sauce with meatballs pasta and a chef salad. Both were so fresh and delicious! The owner popped by our table and we had a great conversation. I'm sure my daughter will be back with friends once school gets underway. You will not be disappointed. Restaurant quality pasta at a fraction of the price. Everything we tried was delicious, seasoned and cooked perfectly. The Penne with the pink sauce and sausage was spectacular. But the Gnocchi Alexsandro was possibly the best gnocchi I've ever had in my life, soft and pillowy but just the right amount of density to hold up to the sauce. The sauce itself is very simple and unpretentious paired with fresh mozzarella, you can't go wrong. read more

Ever since traveling to Italy back in 2018, I've been on the search for good pasta everywhere and anywhere. I haven't been able to find one that reminded me of Italy, until visiting Pasta Party. Family owned. Great selection of pastas. Rich and clean flavor. Great service. Pasta done right. The best dishes I've tried so far were the spaghetti with pink sauce and the lasagna. WOW. You just HAVE to try it to believe it. It will be worth it all. I'm so glad to have found this small restaurant that's able to provide great flavors that you would expect in any legit Italian household. Though I live in LA, I will for sure be back in Anaheim just for Pasta Party. read more

This review is long overdue and very well deserved. Pasta Party is so delicious! My boyfriend and I ordered the chicken parmigiana, ravioli and the Italian sub. Yes we were very hungry! For starters, the portions are good size so you will definitely be leaving full! I am a big fan of chicken parm, and order it at most places I go. Pasta party had the perfect amount of sauce to cheese ratio and was extremely flavorful! The ravioli was also flavorful and delicious! Italian cold cut sub was good but not as great as the pasta dishes! I will definitely be back, especially for the desserts! If you are rolling through or living in the area, I would definitely give this place a try! read more

Not only does this place make a great pizza... they sell the dough too! So you can have your own "pasta party" at home if you want. For those die hard deli fans, they still do great sandwiches here! I had the best meatball sub here a couple weeks ago. Hubby AND kids love the food too! read more

A very handsome young man greeted me and was excited to serve me. He gave great recommendations, and had an amazing attitude through it all. I ordered the meat lover's pizza, and couldn't get enough. The meat is unbelievably fresh and tasty, and the sauce is a sweet homemade mouth watering nectar. It's awesome to watch the pizza being made right in front of you as well. The environment is very quiet and family friendly. I will definitely be coming here again, and I'll bring my family too. read more

My husband orders to-go, and said that the owner was the nicest person. Mot only great service, but the food was delicious too. I got the spaghetti with Arrabiata sauce and meatballs. I was in the mood for pasta so went on a little search in my area. I dug around on yelp and happened upon Pasta Party. The reviews were good so why not try it? Good pricing, good size meal, and the food was overall really great. I met the owner and he was very friendly and welcoming. This place is very new! I'll be going back for the gnocci and beef braised ravioli since I didn't get a chance to try it. Its a great option for a more inexpensive and cozy meal. Only giving this a "good" as it was a first time. I'll be back for sure read more

Had no idea this hidden gem was around, but Pasta Party definitely exceed our expectations. Wife is pregnant and was craving a really simple, quality fettuccini Alfredo. I honestly wasn't really hungry, but changed my mind pretty quickly once I walked in the restaurant and got a whiff of the aromas coming from the kitchen. They were busy with phone orders, but the wait wasn't any more than 5 minutes. Ambience was super casual and it would be easy to misjudge the quality of the food based on that. Alex was awesome, just a first class human being with a great personality and a humble attitude. While we chatted it up, he highly recommended the meatball sandwich, so I decided to go all in and chose the footlong. The Alfredo was EXACTLY what my wife was looking for. Quality, simple, unadulterated taste. Making my wife happy instantly cemented Pasta Party as a winner in my book. Bonus? The meatball sub was AMAZING. Not overdone with the sauce and the meatballs were cooked perfectly. Best part was that it reheated really well without getting soggy. Only regret was not ordering more. We're definitely going to be back. The food is too good not to. read more

I cannot recommend this place and it's pizza enough! It seriously is my favorite pizza in the area. We always get the garlic bread on the side and it's so good. The warm welcome you receive from the staff when you enter is just the icing on the cake. Although each topping is an additional charge, it is completely worth the price! You get to pick the toppings you really want and they are so fresh and delicious. My fiancé and I are definitely customers for life and can't wait to try more items next time. read more

Everyone needs to try Pasta Party. I walked in at 11am this morning and ordered gnocchi with pink sauce and the papperdelle with braised beef/mushroom sauce. I walked back to my car and took a bite of each. I was astonished by how it good it was. I have been to Florence, Rome, and at my age I have had plenty of good pasta. PASTA PARTY MAKES VERY GOOD PASTA. I immediately got out of my car and walked back to the restaurant and ordered fettuccine with tomato basil sauce and then spaghetti bolognese. Was craving pizza tonight, but my man and I wanted to stay local and support a local, family-owned business. I consider myself a bit of a pizza connoisseur, and if I'm being frank, don't expect much when visiting new pizza/Italian spots as to not get my hopes up. Alexsandro (apologies if I misspelled), the owner, was extremely friendly and inviting, and our pizza was OUT OF THIS WORLD. The dough was perfect, as was everything else. The broth was rich and flavorful, and it really hit the spot. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The service was exceptional, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. It seems there was text on the menu about how to bypass it, but they blocked it out in marker so it's not avoidable.

I have gone the past 2 years and never had issues getting it on the first day. This year was different. I got there around 5:05 and walked into the shop to see a lot of tables empty. I was shocked to see that. I waited in line with maybe like two people in front of me and guess what they asked of Pliny was still available. The guy working said to the people in front of me that they sold out. It was my turn I asked if they had it and the guy said that they had a line since 3pm and that they sold out of the keg. We ended up getting two beers since we went anyways but that's when things didn't add up. He kept telling all the other people that started to show up the same thing. These are reasons why it didn't add up 1) empty seats inside but had a line since 3pm and beer was released at 4pm 2) I don't think the people going for younger would just order one beer and not try other RR beers? 3) only one guy working beer counter and having to clean the tables and make sandwiches? 4) 12 oz pours of beer and keg with about 1984 oz would make it 166 beers. No way they sold 166 beers in an hour with one person working the bar and shop empty in an hour. They could have posted on their instagram or socials that they sold out but failed to do so. I'm sure a lot of people all night were disappointed to see that they didn't have it or post anything about it.

Whatever they may be make sure they are the same to avoid this. As a result they left their staff in a very vulnerable position. The staff did not handle it well. Update the hours to match. It is a simple fix to avoid this confusion and future situations.

This place is a total gem! We went to celebrate our friend's daughter's 7th birthday and it was an absolutely perfect find. The ambiance is adorable - bright and cheerful with a cozy feel with Italian touches all over the walls. It was perfect for a little birthday gathering. The staff was incredible! We arrived as a group of 15. They were so friendly and accommodating, even helping us out with a candle and some yummy cake treats for my friend's daughter to sing Happy Birthday over. It really made her day extra special. But let's talk about the food! Wow. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The pizza, Bolognese, short rib parpadelle, and chopped salad was spectacular. It was clear the ingredients were fresh and high-quality and made just the way true Italians would make it. Overall, Pasta Party is a fantastic choice for any occasion. Delicious food, adorable setting, and amazing staff - they have it all! We don't live here but anytime we are back in the Great Wolf Lodge or Disneyland area, we'll definitely be back. But this spot definitely keeps the integrity of their authentic food by making everything from scratch. Delicious, hearty pasta with great quality meat and sauce. A little hidden treasure for real Italian food is Pasta Party, both for the delicious food and the adorable interior design. The welcoming owner Alex and all of the staff provide amazing service as well, constantly grinning and making guests feel at home. I've tried the pink sauce with fettuccine sausage and shrimp, which is a fantastic pairing with the rich Alfredo sauce. Not to mention the pizza, you can see them as they prepare it by spreading the sauce and tossing the homemade dough. You shouldn't pass up the opportunity to attend a pasta party. My gfs and I always stop by here when we visit from out of town. My favorite is the short rib ravioli with pink sauce and the girls always get the gnocchi, which is made in shop. You can taste the freshness and quality ingredients. The restaurant is super adorable with a cute photo op area in the front. The owner, Alexsandro is very accommodating.
