Pasta station wasn't open when I went in, so I opted for two slices of pizza (Pepperoni, sausage). Cheese was perfectly melted on both, toppings were plentiful and the pizza looked fresh. The crust - and this is where a pizza place either "gets it" or doesn't - was delicious. It was just the right bit of doughyness, crispyness and had a light buttery taste to it. The pizza also wasn't that oily compared to other pizzas I've had. Prices are a bit steep, but again, you're paying for the convenience of eating on campus.

The organization is the worst part though. You'll find yourself jumping back and forth between the pan, the vegetables and protein, then back to the pan, then over to the pasta and sauces. It's pretty inefficient if you ask me. Placing the pans between the vegetables and the pasta would mean less awkward movement for both the employees and the customers. Pasta itself is OK. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but it's a little bland. I've been here two times and got bowtie pasta with Alfredo sauce on both occasions. The sauce was definitely lacking in flavor. I'll try something else next time and see if it's any better. Maybe I just have to add something else. Customer service is very friendly, although a little slow (it's expected though, since your pasta is being prepared right in front of you). As your fellow students, you can easily talk to them about school. If you have a little chunk of time and you're in the student center, Bene's Pasta is definitely a place you should check out at least once.

It's located right next to university of Irvine so as expected, you'll always see a bunch of student students shopping inside. I've never had issues with them being out of stock on any staples and their meat and deli counters are both well managed with some super friendly staff members. I also frequent their deli for their fried chicken and I can confirm they do a solid job (because let's be real not all locations are created equal when it comes to their fried chicken) They have both standard checkout lanes and self service checkout lanes with a staff member who's always readily available to help. The ambience is clean well maintained with friendly staff, and the store layout in my opinion is also a plus because it's large with wide aisles and plenty of inventory!

This has to be one of the worst Albertsons locations for DoorDash pickups. Every time I come here,…read morethey seem completely overwhelmed and unorganized when it comes to online orders. Today I spoke with Tommy and gave him the customer's name for the order I was picking up. After waiting about 10 minutes, he came back out and asked me for the same name again. It was confusing and didn't inspire much confidence that anyone knew where the order was or what was going on. I understand stores get busy, but this feels more like a General Management issue than a staffing issue. When operations are consistently backed up and disorganized, that responsibility falls on leadership. A good manager steps in, rolls up their sleeves, and helps get things back on track. If you're ordering delivery or planning a pickup, I'd strongly recommend choosing another Albertsons or a nearby Ralphs instead. This location seems to struggle with basic order management, and unfortunately it shows.

Food: This was one of my favorite spots to go to for lunch or to cater from during college!…read moreMendocino's sandwiches are amazing, especially their Not So Fried Chicken, Vegan Banh Mi, and Happy Hippie! I've heard the Peruvian Steak, Prosciutto, and Chicken are good too! My only feedback with the Happy Hippie is that there is slightly too much filling, so it falls when you are eating the sandwich. Each of their sandwiches comes with two halves and is filling and satisfying. They also use fresh, vibrant vegetables, and a store associate told me their bread is baked fresh every day! Service: The service here is half the reason I come! A lovely store associate will guide you when ordering, and they will bring the food right to you! When they bring the food, there are two napkins on the tray. If they see you carrying your tray after you are finished eating, they will also offer to take it for you! Although the sandwich prices are slightly premium, you are paying for their healthy ingredients and exceptional service! Ambiance: This restaurant is spacious with many tables on the inside and outside! Their bathrooms are also really clean and well kept! Please go here for a healthy, non-bloating meal when you're in the area!

Tough call... This is my favorite Mendocino Farms location…read moreout of at least five I have been to around Orange County. The problem with this sandwich chain is one and only: They have a huge issue with quality consistency. Ask their managers and they will tell you that the portions and sandwiche ingredients are strictly measured, but as a customer you know that's not the case. You go to some places and get these tiny sandwiches with two slices of bread and barely any ingredients in between. The Tustin location, located in Whole Foods has been the worst offender at this by far. Now this Campus Drive location has been creating the best, most generous, consistent sandwiches. Unfortunately, it doesn't happen every time still. It all depends on who you get as you cook on that day, crafting your sandwich. Some day sandwiches that get to the table are juicy and enjoyable, and sometimes, they come out to be disappointedly small, with minimum amount of ingredients. I had to complain to the manager a couple of times, but it doesn't help. Every time I come here, I pray to get the right chef who will make my sandwich well. Absolutely hate being at their mercy.

On our wedding day, she was on top of every detail and even managed to help remove a stain from my wedding dress and fix my mother's dress. She was truly the best coordinator I could have asked for. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how organized everything was and how smoothly the wedding flowed. Several people even told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Beautiful memories were made, which was exactly our goal. We still can't stop thinking and talking about our special day! Thank you for helping make it so unforgettable.

We got there around 2pm and they were frantically trying to fix the ac. It was so hot and humid in there that everyone was sweating. By 430 pm with no relief I had to go sit in the car and crank up my ac to get any kind of relief. Eventually they got the ac partially working but by then the damage was done. My nice dress shirt was soaked. People stank. And a lot of people were uncomfortably miserable. At least in the reception room it was a little bit more comfortable. But in the main lobby where the photo booth was it was pretty toasty the entire night unfortunately. I suggested to the bride and groom to get some sort of refund. Dont know if they did. But they did throw in some electric fans. Which were near useless as it was just blowing hot humid air around. I believe they threw in a photo booth which was cool. And they included some pyrotechnics in the first dance which was really cool. They have a nice large grassy outside area, where I guess wedding ceremonies can take place. They have a separate room for cocktail hour, which they close off before and after cocktail hour. The main reception room was nice and large. I love the windows overlooking the outside. Plenty of parking here. And they have a huge sign closing off that parking lot to thr wedding venue, so its only exclusively used by the guests. Seems as though they only have 1 bathroom in the entire building for the guests. I love how the bridal suite was off to the side. So theres basically 4 main areas to this place. The entryway. The reception area. The cocktail room area. And the outside area. Its a nice venue. But the broken ac for the first couple of hours left a major imprint on the whole night....
