I ordered at a kiosk after the lunch rush - to go. A sandwich and a soup took well over 20 mins. They ran out of a soup and said they had another kind almost ready and would only be a few mins. I accepted the substitution but wouldn't have if I knew it would take so long. I was almost late for a meeting trying to eat beforehand. The lentil soup was good - but I had to eat it off camera during my meeting that I couldn't attend in person because of how long the order took. (Can you tell my frustration?) I didn't eat the sandwich just yet because I was in back to back meetings - but will tomorrow. Hopefully it redeems itself. In the future I will reconsider what they have ready on hand or could prepare quicker.

A charming little pasta takeout spot that serves their dishes in fun Chinese-style boxes. It's a neat concept, and the inside of the place has a cute, cozy vibe. You order at a self-service kiosk, and they prepare your pasta fresh right in front of you. It comes with a very small slice of bread. That said, I did find it a bit on the pricey side. Each topping costs extra, and for about $15 (no extra toppings), my box was only about half full. The pasta tasted great--definitely delicious and quite authentic--but the portion size might not be filling enough for a standard adult meal. I really wanted this to become a go-to spot, but given the portion size and the added costs, it's a bit steep for what you get. Still, it's a tasty option if you're looking to splurge a little on some fresh pasta.

Let me say I was skeptical of eating pasta from a "Chinese box". Street metered parking that's difficult to find but the food was much better than I expected. Price range $-$$ the more toppings the more it cost. No alcohol. I ordered shirt pasta rigatoni with arrabuata (spicy) sauce with garlic and added Italian sausage crumbles. It was a good potion (7oz) and was packed with good flavor. I honestly was shocked because some sauces lack substance and flavor. The service was with a kiosk...I would have preferred something that walked me through the process of ordering as I had never been there. I didn't take too long to finish but I'm glad no one was behind me. The setting is cute inside kinda eat your food and go vibe. The art is cute inside and the walls speak to the Italian theme of the restaurant. I liked the complimentary salt, pepper sides, Parmesan, and olive oil sides. I would return.

The convenience is clutch and the flavors are on point. Exactly what my family needs living in the west loop. I've got 3 little children to feed and they gobbled up the butter noodles and alfredo. I got the ravioli and my husband got the rigatoni bartucci. All were delicious and filling. Found our new go-to spot for Italian!

This was the perfect place to end my night. I was looking for something to eat and stumbled across this grab and go pasta. The restaurant was clean and bright. The staff were very welcoming and answered my questions. I do wish that you didn't have to pay extra for everything. $1 for garlic $1 for basil etc.

For what it is, well exceeded expectations! Will certainly be back! When I think of fast food pasta the only thing that comes to mind is Noodles and Co. so going in, I didn't have a lofty expectation. However, the pasta was fantastic and changed my view on what to-go pasta is. The manager was really kind and the food came out in around 10 minutes. I got a spinach, mushroom, and rigatoni marinara which was a pretty large portion even for a guy who eats quite a bit. They didn't skimp on anything in the pasta and the noodles were cooked actually perfectly and were certainly homemade. I'm extremely impressed and excited to go back!

The customer experience was amazing... as a first time customer the employees at pasta via took time to assist and recommended options based of the popularity of the products. AJ and Savanna were great!!! 5 star experience!!!!

Great fast service and pastas are customizable. Tastes great and the interior is pretty. No complaints and would recommend.

From the moment you walk into Pasta Via, the environment is just amazing. Everything is super clean, the decoration is stunning (as a soccer crazy fan I really appreciate the art), and it feels so warm and welcoming. Pasta Via is truly my dream come true, a place where you get luxury-level, restaurant-quality pasta without having to sit down for a long meal. It's fast, fresh, and so satisfying. You get to choose exactly what you want and enjoy a healthy, delicious meal in minutes. It honestly doesn't get better than that. Everything looked so good that it was hard to decide what to order. The pasta, the veggies, just all of it looked so fresh and perfectly made. I also had such a great experience with the staff they were kind, fast, and very attentive. I'll definitely be coming back many times!!

It's just not good pasta. And I've had bad pasta. Bad pasta is fine if it's cheap but even this is overpriced.

Up until tonight, my experiences had always been positive and the food was fantastic. Unfortunately, this visit was more than disappointing. I ordered a salad I've had at least a dozen times before, accept I added grilled chicken on top. I live for this salad and was just there maybe three weeks ago. Unaware that they have changed their menu, I ordered as usual. The name of the salad has not changed on the menu, but apparently the ingredients had been completely altered. When the dish arrived, to my surprise, it was drastically different and not something I enjoyed at all. I politely informed our server, who was kind and accommodating, and offered to replace the dish. However, it was now 6 p.m. we had tickets to see The Wiz at 7 p.m. and didn't have time to wait for another order, which I also informed her. I asked if the salad could be removed from the bill since it was essentially untouched. The server checked with the owner, who refused to remove the $30 salad or offer any kind of discount. When a restaurant changes a dish but keeps the same name, it creates a reasonable expectation for returning customers. When that expectation isn't met, basic customer service should step in. What makes this even more frustrating is that the restaurant was willing to prepare an entirely new dish, but not willing to remove the uneaten one from the bill. That simply isn't logical. If you're prepared to replace an item, it clearly acknowledges there was an issue, so refusing to comp or adjust the original charge is unreasonable. That decision was extremely disappointing. I, in-turn made the decision to eat only the additional grilled chicken on top, leaving the rest of the salad, paying the full bill and promptly getting out of there so we could be on time for our show. The only positive part of the experience was our server, who handled the situation with professionalism and kindness. Sadly, the new menu leaves much to be desired and this experience has cost Peanut Park my business and my referrals going forward.

Reservations are released 21 days ahead of time, which I personally find impossible to make. Every time I've checked over the last several years there have been no availability. Yesterday I decided to pop on their website again and was delighted to find that they had released same day dinner reservations for patio only dining. The weather was perfect for outdoor dining so I went ahead and booked a table for Friday night. I felt like I won the dinner lottery. Service was wonderful and I didn't mind sitting outside at all next to the road with cars. I actually never stepped foot in the restaurant so cannot comment on what it's like inside. But do not give up that patio dining reservation if it's available. All of our dishes were delicious. I was really impressed by the meatball appetizers, chicken vesuvio (the potatoes are a must get as a side if you skip this dish), and branzino. The meats and sauces were wonderfully balanced and tender. Nothing tasted overly salted. Ironically, the pasta felt less of a star compared to the other dishes. And of course I had to get the gelato, which was so aesthetically presented and the taste just reminded me of an Italian summer vacation.

The inside of the restaurant felt like a classic Italian restaurant you might find in Italy. Our waiter was super nice and gave some great wine recommendations. First, they bring you some bread and give you a small platter mixed with olive oil, fresh garlic, and Parmesan. This is the first time I've seen it done this way but it was delicious. The calamari was delicious, not too fried and oily but still had so much flavor to it. We also decided to order the peperoni pizza, which is just a magnificent pizza. It was just cooked perfectly with just the right amount of flavor and spice. I ordered the raviolacci toscani, which took a bit of time to come out (but understandable given the amount of people). It was just delicious. The meat filling had such a deep flavor and the sauce wasn't so heavy that I didn't want to finish it. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a good Italian meal with great portions. Reservations might be hard to get so plan ahead.
