All of the pasta options were so different and our server knew all of them by heart, including the noodle shapes which I was really impressed about. She was able to recite off the specials without looking at anything either. Server was extremely attentive and the ambience was casual stop in. We ended up ordering the butternut squash pasta with pancetta as well as the vodka rigatoni, and we added some chicken. The vodka rigatoni was not very spicy, but there was just enough sauce to cover all the noodles, but you didn't need anything, but they gave you a piece of bread to stop up the rest if that's for you. The butternut squash absolutely took the cake. It was savory, it was a little bit sweet, it was not greasy from the pancetta, but very well seasoned. Based on my recent order, my honest review would be 1 star. However, I have been here multiple times and have enjoyed it, so I've decided to average it at a 3. I ordered the lucky penne pasta with chicken and bread service for delivery. I was craving pasta and remembered the last time I went with my friend she had ordered the lucky penne and it was sooo good and I loved the creamy chipotle sauce. So you can imagine how disappointed I was when I received my order and the pasta was not at all creamy and/or good. The flavors were off and it genuinely looked/ tasted like someone just threw together a bunch of left over ingredients to make a "end of the week meal." You know the ones you make when you're trying to make use of all the left over groceries. I was also really disappointed that the "bread service" just came with 4 tiny slices of bread (which were soggy bc it came in an air sealed tight plastic container). We ordered catering for a work event and I was very pleased with the customer service. After submitting an order, I received a phone call from the restaurant asking a few additional questions and confirming the details. Then on the day of the event, I called ahead to ensure that it would be ready at the scheduled time (it was!) and pick-up was smooth. However, after leaving, the manager called to let us know that something had accidentally been left out of the order - and they offered to make it right by delivering it to us. I forget her name but she was very personable and thorough. They were out of 2 ingredients to make a certain cocktail and then out of another cider beer that my friend ordered. The lobster ravioli is phenomenal. It has a lot of sauce that you can dip the bread that is provided into. There is a perfect amount of spinach and sun dried tomatoes where it isn't too overpowering. The inside of the restaurant is very low light and gives off the vibe of a dive bar which is really interesting and unique. We took advantage of the special and each got a glass - white for me and red for him. For my main dish, I was contemplating between the Linguine Pesto and Capellini Pomodoro and asked my server her preference which was the Pomodoro so I went with that. It was a regular tomato pasta dish to me which I don't find exciting. It was good but I probably would have enjoyed the pesto more. Should have gone with my preference of pesto but it was worth trying the Pomodoro. My friend chose the Caballo Blanco which I had a bite of and it was really good.
