I have no idea why my family ever made the mistake of supporting such a sloppy business that has zero regard for repeat customers. For reasons beyond me, my siblings used to frequent this place, but that ended after they received a macaroni order straight from Satan himself--burnt to a crisp. When we called to address the issue, the woman on the phone was cold and abrasive, never once taking accountability or offering an apology. The only "resolution" provided was to come in person for a refund. Safe to say, we will never be back. Had to give this spot a shout out! 5 stars not because it's the best pasta ever BUT because the service was great, the recommendation for food to order was on point, and it's reasonably priced. Should also mention the design on the inside is way cool and options to sit at a couple tables outside are nice. The place has a nice feel inside. Place had a chill vibe, loved the rope chandelier and the window for viewing the pasta being made. Service was friendly and welcoming. The only thing this place has going for it is the interior aesthetics, because interacting with the staff feels less like ordering food and more like cross-examining a hostile witness. I love pasta but after looking at the menu I saw the Cuban sandwich as I love those, wasn't sure what to expect since it's a pasta place. Guess what, absolutely amazing sandwich up there with the best I've had. It had everything you would expect including the pork, ham, melted Swiss, pickles, mustard, aioli, pickled onion and the grilled focaccia bread it came on was great. The restaurant has such thoughtful details, like each to-go order coming in a cute and sturdy box. Only downside is that we wanted more protein in our pasta. We only got 4 meatballs! But we realize maybe if we picked something other than handmade meatballs, we would've gotten more LOL The Build Your Own Pasta is $13.95 and the menu Mac&Cheese range from $8.99-$10.49. At the moment, we feel the menu mac&cheeses are a better deal as they're quite cheaper and we noticed more protein! I found this cute little place on yelp and decided to give it a try. I never seen it before on yelp and thought it was new but I asked them and they said they've been around for about three years. I'm surprised I never saw it before. Walking in, the ambience was very beautiful and clean. The customer service was excellent and made sure To never rush us while looking at the menu. I decided to do the regular order of pizza bread since I wasn't too hungry and my brother ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. One thing I want to mention about this restaurant is their prices! Especially in this economy lol. Our whole meal including two drinks was only $20, u never see that around here anymore. The pizza bread was great I didn't realize it was basically two full pizzas bread slices. Also the pastas are baked, which are the best kinds of pasta. They also gave us some pasta chips to snack on I thought that was such a cute touch. One thing I really need to bring up especially to management is that the kiosk where you pay for your order does not let us tip. I don't like that especially because not everyone has cash and the workers deserve their tips, good thing I had an extra $20 bill laying around. That is one thing I would change about the restaurant. The 2 girls working were nice, but out of 3 of us, no one ate more than half and that's because only the edges are hot and the middle is cold with unmelted cheese. This dinner was really disappointing and the Alfredo was not Alfredo it was more of a buttery oil sauce. The other red pastas had barely any sauce however from the image it might look like a lot but the pasta sauce was not sticking to the pasta. Certainly a great business idea since pasta is inexpensive but their execution leaves a bit to desire. I stopped by with very particular orders for each member of my family. Unfortunately they only had a few types of pasta "in stock" at the time, none of which were on my lists. We settled for what they had and then I was surprised to discover that they only include 2 vegetables in the pastas, which start at $14 each. At that price they should include any veggie you want. I agree with the other reviews that the food was fairly bland. I added some red pepper flakes at home and it was pretty good. The serving size is more than enough for at least 2 meals. read more

We had a craving for pasta, and after a super busy day, had no time to cook. Stopped by this new little spot as it's only a few minutes from home. At dinner time the entire restaurant was empty, but there were two very friendly young people working the counter. I had read previous reviews that said build your own pasta was not their favorite option, so we chose the basil tomato pesto with rigatoni, and it was delicious! We also ordered the garlic knots and tiramisu for dessert, both of which were fine but would probably not order again. The service was super friendly and ultra fast, and regardless of previous reviews I disagree that the prices are too high. The rigatoni was perfectly al dente, and our meals were heated in recyclable aluminium pans and placed in small pizza-like boxes that insured a piping hot meal when we arrived home. I'm looking forward to trying a lemonade slushy on the next visit. Pasta Zone is convenient and tasty. The pasta is supposedly made there, I see the equipment but don't see it being made. There are a few choices of pasta, a few choices of sauces, and some choices of cheese. They bake all the pastas which is okay. But at a buffet they cook it in a skillet! For some reason that tastes so much better! This was our first time eating at PZ, and the food was delicious! Each dish was super flavorful, the portion size was very generous and the price point was spot on. In fact, we felt like we got a deal walking out and only paying $34 for 3 meals.
