I don't want to go into depth with my situation but I do want to give credit to this amazing employee at this location, Shashil Narayan. She helped me through my whole situation which was 5 days long. During those 5 days she kept in contact with me doing follow ups and helping me with any obstacle that I had to go through. I was very stressed out during the process but she calmed me down, offered solutions and helped come up with a plan for the future so this doesn't happen again. I did not feel like she was a rep there, she made me feel like I was a close friend and she would do whatever she can to help get my situation resolved, Which I needed because during these 5 days I felt like I was not going to get out of this. Me leaving this review would not even come close to repaying her back. I hope someone higher up sees this because she deserves all the recognition and credit! Online bank services have been down for almost two days now, there has been no effort made to contact us besides one tweet saying the bank is experiencing an "outage". Nobody can access either their savings or checking if they aren't near a shared branch or atm. How am I supposed to trust you guys after this?? People are on vacation right now not everyone has access to an atm and I had to take my dog to the emergency vet last night and even though I had the money in my savings I couldn't access it. Every response made is the exact same, no human is giving us actual answers and some people are even getting attempted charges on their accounts. When this is all over I am taking all my money out and switching to a different bank, and so will everyone else. There has to be something going on. read more

I have been a member of Patelco Credit Union since 1977. I lost contact with it when I was transferred to another state in 1995. Two days ago I went to Patelco to renew my membership and apply for a loan. I am very happy with the service and help I got from the Member Solutions Specialist Karmela. This is MY favorite location!! Every time I come in the vibe is beyond friendly. I had a few questions about consolidating my debt and was blown away. Irena calculated all debt with monthly payments I currently pay and provided options. I had 3 payments to various places of about 550$ a month and now, I will be paying $380 and will have 3 cards paid off! She wrote everything out and made it so easy to understand. Susan, Carl, and the young lady who's name I didn't get but I believe she was the teller tonight, She had braids and brown eyes. This is my second review for this Patelco branch, I've been banking with them for almost 8 yrs and I have only been 100% satisfied every single time I walk through the doors . I've seen manager come and go and they all have been top notch. However Ms. Budovla (One of the managers) went out of her way to my our daughters first time banking experience a positive one, she made the process easy to understand for my 13 yr old daughter who brought her money in that she's been saving for years. Most of it in rolled up coins by the way! Me and my 3 daughters a bank with them and we are all happy with their service. My debit card suffered fraudulent charges so I went into this branch to get some cash & the teller helped me & printed a new debit card for me right there. Talk about exceptional service! I didn't catch her name even though we had a pleasant conversation (shame on me!) but my receipt says the teller was VVO. She was very friendly, helpful and kept things moving since I was on my lunch break. Clean location, complimentary beverages, professional friendly staff. I love Patelco and am thrilled I joined. I had financed an auto loan through Patelco a few days before I was going to buy my car. I had returned with my buy order and other paperwork to find out that I needed to make an appointment to finish the buying process at around 4:45pm. The assisstant manager Christian, came over and let me know that she could fit me in after her current person at 5:30pm, 30 minutes before closing. She finished the buying process, and even stayed 5 minutes after closing to help me, and was friendly and helpful the entire time. As a member of a credit union, Patelco allows me to use their teller and ATM services without fees even though I primarily bank elsewhere. Tellers are friendly. I once had to break large bills for smaller denominations and the teller made the transaction an easy one. There was no fuss. Very convenient and professional! read more
