I can't write enough wonderful things about Dr. Lina McCain. My boy Royce was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer, and although we don't use accupuncture as a cure, he definitely enjoys it and perks up a lot after treatment. We've been going to Dr. Lina for quite a few months now and Royce is doing amazing. She also has helped with Chinese herbs and supplements to add into my boys protocol. Dr. Lina also has an extremely calming presence and is the sweetest person! She does not stress my boy out whatsoever and he loves going. Thank you Dr!

Maggie is doing great thanks to Dr. Lina

Dr. Lina is fantastic. My dog Maggie was diagnosed with a liver tumor and adrenal tumor back in March 2014. She was given 2 weeks to live. I was devastated. I just wanted to help ease her pain and I thought of acupuncture. I deal with chronic pain myself, and I go to acupuncture and it has been extremely helpful so the first thing I thought was to bring Maggie to acupuncture. Maggie is also bowlegged, a condition she was born with. She has developed severe arthritis now all over her body especially in her front legs. Lina also helps her with that condition, people at the dog park can't believe how much better she walks. Lina has been sweet and caring and I can't say enough good things. Maggie is still here and she's actually been doing better than she has in a long time. She goes every other week and we deal with her symptoms of whatever is going on that week. She's turning 14 in February and I really believe she wouldn't be here without Lina's care. Thank you Lina!!

It's been 8 years and Giz is still alive and kickin' :) He gets the occasional flare-up, but he's also now 13 years old. I still primarily attribute his recovery to Dr. McCain.

Lina always has an amazing touch with animals. She basically cured my cat's IBD and now bringing my post op hemilamenectomy dog to her to help manage his pain, stimulate his appetite, and hopefully regain his rear leg motor function. Thanks Lina you're the best!

Lina McCain is amazing! She has the most incredible healing touch and my timid little chihuahua responds to her really well.

From the moment Dr. Ang first met with us, he exhibited wonderful listening skills. He valued my comments and made me feel heard. It was a dangerous urgent situation, and he gave it the prompt attention it deserved. My cat had to be hospitalized, and I could not have had a better vet to help me through those difficult days. Dr. Ang was so unbelievably kind and helpful to both myself and my cat. I've had pets my entire life, and I've never been more impressed by a vet. I was very worried about my cat, and Dr. Ang kept me updated and generously answered every question I had. It has taken months for me to write this review, because my cat had to be put down about 10 days after this emergency situation. However, thanks to Dr. Ang's help and advice, my cat got to spend over a week with me at home, before he developed another medical issue that again threatened his life. My cat was put down at almost 18 years of age, with the assistance of Dr. Ang. He made a terrible situation much better than it otherwise would have been for us. This my most difficult time with a pet, and I'm so blessed to have had Dr. Ang through the journey. I can't possibly thank him enough for how much he went above and beyond for my cat, and for me. Dr. Ang is a wonderful person, and anyone is lucky to have him care for their pet. I am also happy with MedVet Mountain View. I've brought my cat there many times, and the fact that I drove from Santa Clara to Mountain View many times specifically to go to this office is evidence of how comfortable I felt bringing my pet there--rather than vets' offices much closer to me geographically. I am happy with the staff and experiences overall at MedVet Mountain View. But, Dr. Zachary Ang is a vet that restored my faith in humanity, and he deserves particular credit for going far beyond the call of duty for myself and my beloved cat.

However, everything changed when we went to Los Altos Veterinary Clinic. During a routine appointment, I asked Dr. Gould for her opinion on my dog's condition. For the first time, I felt like I truly understood my dog's health outlook. Dr. Gould provided genuine, realistic feedback and educated us on our dog's care in a way that was accessible and clear. Her demeanor and expertise are the blueprint for what a doctor should be: empathetic, realistic, and able to translate medical complexity into layman's terms. Rather than being pushy about "right or wrong," she focused on what was best for my dog's mental and physical health, while remaining mindful of my own capacity as an owner during the recovery process. She brought tears of relief to an emotionally taxing situation. A few highlights that make this clinic stand out: * The Staff: From the front desk to the practitioners, the team is phenomenal; warm, professional, and patient. As a medical provider myself, I recognize a high-functioning team when I see one; there are no "loose ends" here. * Efficiency: Scheduling is seamless, and they respect your time. I've never found myself waiting around past my appointment time. * The Personal Touch: They treat your dog as if it were their own. They even put out an adorable personalized welcome sign for your dog's first appointment! If you value high-end medical care and total professionalism, come here. This clinic is truly "it" from top to bottom. I cannot stress enough how valuable this entire team has been for our fur baby.

He's been there many times for other issues, and the care he received in the past has always been excellent. When we checked in, there was only one animal ahead of us. It's a nice waiting area. Everything was clean and spotless. We waited about 15 minutes before being put in a room. There was only one Dr. on site, but luckily, they weren't too busy. Dr. Beard and her vet techs took excellent care of my boy. He apparently was having an asthma flare-up. They gave him a sedative shot, since he was being a bit spicy. He hates going to the Dr., just like other pets. They gave him oxygen and a steroid shot. They also took x-rays to be sure there were no foreign objects in his throat. Luckily, all the x-rays were clear. They monitored him, and we were able to take him home after he stabilized. The staff are wonderful here. They treat your pet as if it were their own. Dr. Beard and her team helped make my baby feel better, and I'm so grateful for their compassion and love for all animals. You can tell these folks love what they do. Adobe will always be our number one place to go to for an emergency.

Just paid $350 to have no exam done but for my cat do be drugged and stressed out for days. They will only examine your cat if your cat is 100% docile or pumped full of potentially fatal sedatives. If your cat so much as flinches or growls (which any cat-owner knows is normal at a vet!), they will refuse to do an exam. They claim it's because they don't want to stress out your cat, but let's be real. Five minutes of being burritoed is way less stressful for most kitties than having drugs in their system for days, especially if they've got kidney problems and/or are elderly like my fur-baby. Save your time and money, don't go here. Make sure to call vets ahead of time to see what their procedures are. I would have done that if I'd thought such a nonsensical thing were even a possibility (which it never has been with any other vet).
