The good news is that the super duper patio cover that opens and closes wasn't broken after all! I called for service as the louvers were not moving when I operated the remote control. They were courteous and prompt to send someone out to look at it. The problem had to do with an outlet that needed the button pushed back in again. This shows me that not only did I have good work done to install my patio cover but I also have good follow up when a problem occurs. We were/are very pleased with our new outdoor living space. Mario was AWESOME!! The guy really knows his stuff. The whole team did a great job from start to finish. I love that every day they cleaned up the work space - even reaching into the pool for a few washers that had fallen in. I interviewed several patio cover installation companies before I decided on Patio Warehouse. They were not the lowest bid nor were they the highest. I originally talked with Jarod. I was adamant about 3 things: 1. I was not in favor of trimming my existing roof fascia boards. 2. I did not want to feel like my patio cover hung lower than my existing hone ceiling. 3. I also wanted my project permitted by the city in which I reside. Jarod assured me that he could satisfy all three requests. He introduced me to Tony Garcia, as his project coordinator. Tony's father Joe was also a member of the installation crew. We decided to install roof brackets to support the cover on one end and two steel posts embedded in concrete with custom columns. We just had a sunroom built in our backyard, and we love it! We are still in the process of making some finishing touches to the room, so I'll have to update my photos once we're done. I met with several other patio companies when we were searching for the right company to work with. After meeting with Bennie, I felt confident in my decision to go with Patio Warehouse. Bennie was very professional and answered all of my many questions. He was able to help me bring the cost to a price point that we felt comfortable with, by letting me know what options we have to work with. He took his time explaining all the details that we needed to know, and he followed up with us throughout the whole project (something I really appreciated). If I ever needed anything, Bennie and his team were just a phone call or email away. We had some minor delays due to circumstances that was out of Patio Warehouse's control, however, Jeff was quick to address this and took care of the situation immediately. It's very apparent that Patio Warehouse delivers quality product and great customer service. We had another issue with rain water seeping into the sunroom from the bottom. This was due to the sunroom being built on uneven ground (make sure your ground is completely even, and if not - make sure to have the installers seal the bottom extra). Also, make sure to have proper drainage around the sunroom. But again, Jeff took care of the situation and made us a priority. The only complaint I have is working with some of the install managers. I had a really hard time getting calls back, and emails back from people other than Jeff. I would be promised to get a quote on the concrete to fix the drainage issues or be promised other things, and they weren't followed through until after SEVERAL times of following up that I had to do. If you're persistent enough, you'll get answers. But I'm having this issue constantly, even after the sunroom is built. However, if you can get Jeff's attention, he'll do his best to resolve the issue. I would recommend Patio Warehouse if you need any work done to your patio. I did my research and it paid off, b/c not only am I really happy with the sunroom itself, but I am also satisfied with the team and customer service provided. read more

I recently replaced my decrepit wood patio cover for a fully covered Elitewood and have been making good use of it. At first I was contemplating getting an open cover but I'm glad I spent a little more to get the fully covered one. Pros: 1) Feels like I have another room outside. 2) Able to hang outside on warmer summer days and rainy days. 3) Patio furniture doesn't get as dirty quickly. 4) LED down lights makes the patio area nice and bright allowing for nighttime grilling & chilling. 5) Cooler temp for the adjacent kitchen and patio hardscape. 6) Better speaker acoustics in comparison to the previous open lattice cover. I'd say the only drawback to the cover is a loss of some natural light in the kitchen area but I got used to it in a few days and the kitchen area is still bright. These guys had the best price out of the three companies I got bids from and I'm very pleased with the product and install experience. Note: If you're getting lights installed make sure to specify how you want the wires run. The foreman was going to run a rubber conduit hose down the wall to the switch but I had an electrician come out to put the wiring inside the wall instead. read more
