We were very happy with Patio Warehouse. They built and installed a patio cover over a new BBQ island. It looks great and protects my new hardware. The installation team was on time and very friendly. The only issue we had was that part of our cover was the wrong color. This was also the only reason they got 4 stars and not 5. They told me as soon as the installers discovered it at my house. I was ok with the wrong color and had them install it anyways. I would of had to wait a few more days if I wanted another color. We decided to replace our patio cover while installing a pool. Jarod and his crew did an amazing job working with the city We had several issues with the pool gas lines being too close to the patio cover but Patio Warehouse worked through them all. We installed pavers and all the other patio cover companies we called said they wouldn't install over pavers. Other patio cover installers recommended we use Patio Warehouse if we weren't installing over concrete as they were unwilling to pour the necessary footings. I got 7 reviews from companies all over Orange County and the Inland Empire. Just hire Patio Warehouse. They use the thickest gauge aluminum. Best paint job. Absolutely best service. The owner runs his business like a military chain of command. They were right in the middle, regarding cost, of all my bids. The attention to detail is unparalleled. I am one of those customers that researches for months before hiring a company. They handled all HOA approvals and permits. Every other company told me I didn't need a permit. Wow. A bunch of scammers. You always need a permit and Patio Warehouse handles everything. The entire office staff is amazing. They work the project in 8 stages with estimated time frames. We wanted a modern aluminum patio (those like Alumawood) and we contacted Patio Warehouse. Jeff, the owner, came to give an estimate with detail explanation of what will be done. He gave me the estimates for the least expensive options, then give me options to go higher. Usually companies would like to get as much as possible instead. I like the options they have available, from the different Elitewood upgrades, to extra designs for the columns like fiberglass or their stucco-designed columns. The permit process took a long time, but the person handling my permits are very responsive to my questions. In fact, during the whole process, I had various questions and change of minds, requesting upgrades, etc., and Jeff and the crew were really responsive and honest about options and price. Then when it comes to installation, the crew did it as fast as possible, while dealing with permits. In the end, I got a great patio that my family absolutely loves, and definitely worth it. When we finally took the plunge and went around researching and requesting quotes from various patio companies. When Tony came over to provide us a quote, I definitely felt at ease at Tony's professionalism and non pressure sales pitch. He clearly outlined sketch of our future patio and was also willing to give us different ideas and quotes for various designs due to our limited budget. He was more than willing to give us the time we needed to process the sketches and even came by our house on the weekend to finalize the design and contract. During the demolition and building process of the patio, I was provided a schedule of what the timeline would be and besides one day of delay due to a personal emergency, they stuck to schedule and I have a brand new and awesome patio! There is a last concern I had with it that I have already contacted Tony about and he is more than willing to listen and come out to house again to take a look and alleviate my concerns. My brothers are both engineers and were impressed with the quality of the drawings provided. We appreciated that Patio Warehouse pulled the permits and scheduled both the initial and final inspections. Wouldn't dream of building a structure such as this without a permit so was pleased that they handled that for us. The City required a change and Tony provided the adjusted drawings and we were good to go. They were busy so there was a little delay between the initial order and the actual building, but they were upfront about the timeline. This review has been pending for quite some time. I started working with Patio Warehouse about 7 yrs ago. In order to get a patio cover, I needed to replace the concrete patio slab. So we spent the money to install stamped concrete with drains. Fast forward several years, we decided to finally get the patio cover done. We worked with salesman, Bennie, who is responsive and professional. We had to go through many variations to get the patio cover and sunroom just right. All the while, the costs kept going up. Some were due to our needs changing, loss of both parents, pandemic and cost. We got the design done and signed contract. Turns out the design we had for a solid patio cover and sunroom, were not allowed as designed in my city. If this is your business, shouldn't you know the various city permitting ordinances? Especially if you have a dedicated "permit expert" on your team? Apparently not..... I called co owner, Jeff Shores. First time I've spoken to him ever. He greeted me with excuses, gruff manner and blamed others. He then actually 100% lied to me! Saying that my house had a very unique residential variance on it. Not my neighbor, only me!!! What??? A lie. Then more, then more. I was devastated that I had done this far in process to have to start all over. No sunroom, but a very big patio cover. Jeff said he would fast track my project, "my file was only one on his desk" and "he would hand hold" the project. That was over a month ago. Then yesterday, I got a change order for $10,000!!! What???? I was already spending the cost of luxury vehicle, then to add more. No thanks. I'm out. I informed Mr Shore I would be writing this review. I am an honest person. I have better things to do than spend my time doing this. However, I originally found Patio Warehouse on Yelp. I rely heavily on Yelp reviews for everything! So, I wanted to share my experience with others. Get the information, timelines, etc. Do your own vetting. ** Also, no business is 100%. Jeff Shore personally monitors these reviews. I had my back yard remodeled this past summer and the designer recommended Patio Warehouse to do the new patio roof. They came out to do detailed measurements and make sure everything on the drawings made sense. But the drawings weren't accurate. They worked with me to get the patio roof in the right spot and the right size for what I wanted. Easy process. Patio Warehouse was completely accessible and professional from the beginning of the project to the end. The installation crew of three were so professional. The installation of the lattice and wiring of the ceiling fan and light were completed in about 5-6 hours, start to finish, with minimal noise or disruption to us.
