Great Investment in My Happy Room I had Patio Warehouse installed a sun room at my house in October 2019 and I could not be happier with this investment in my sun room which has become my own happy room. Since having the sun room installed by Patio Warehouse, I have used it as both an office and a bedroom and have spent about 80% of my time in this room. For me, the investment into the sun room continues to pay itself off through my continued use and enjoyment. Although the house shares an opened door and window with the sun room, the sun room still gets a bit hotter than the rest of the house. This is not really an issue when the ceiling fan in the sun room is used to help circulate air and cool down. Also, the sun room makes noises through the material contraction and expansion as a function of temperature but the noise is not excessive and you get used to it. Overall am very satisfied and happy with the sun room as it adds another dimension to my house and makes staying at home during the Covid-19 pandemic that much more enjoyable. Will keep this one short as they have so many positive reviews not much more to add. Some of the reasons we liked working with them to install our louvered patio cover are: 1. Compared to others that came over they never tried any old school sales techniques. We had other companies come out and many had "limited time offers" to try and close us. 2. They treat you like the customer. One owner tried to tell me I had to order from him because he put a lot of time into our discussions. He got angry when I told him I wasn't go with him! 3. They worked with us on the design in great detail and delivered exactly what we were looking for in every way. 4. There were some issues that came up but they resolved them quickly and professionally. Really good. 5. If you've read our other reviews, you will find that we have high expectations for our vendors whether it be service or quality. We rate Patio Warehouse at 4.5 stars. Our project consisted of a solid patio cover with columns. It wrapped around a corner of the house which meant a direction change in pitch for proper water flow. It also had to wrap around an existing outdoor fireplace. Our project manager was Tony who we rate at 5 stars. He has a good knowledge of the product, PW's installation capabilities, and was responsive to our multiple inquiries. As we chose to upgrade the look of the posts with columns, we went with Elitewood's Classic solid panels rather than their premium version. The quality of the panels and finish appear good. During my install of speakers, I found the finish on the headers easy to scratch. I had a can of touch-up spray from the manufacturer which made for easy repair. During the 5-day installation, the crew was professional, well-mannered and cleaned-up at the end of each day. We found a couple panel joints slightly uneven and the gutters leaked in a couple areas due to missing caulking. They addressed these on a follow-up visit. Subsequent to that, we found another gutter leak which I may just repair myself. We rate the installation at 4 stars. We had a couple of cosmetic concerns at project completion, but management was quick to address and resolve. We rate customer service at 5 stars. Patio Warehouse was at the higher end of the quotes we received, but we are happy with the end results and believe the value is there. We would call on them again for future work. read more

We had a very good experience with Patio Warehouse. First, we went to their store in person to look at some of their samples and really liked the stucco-like texture on one of their covers. One of the owners came out on a Saturday and gave us an estimate, that was much appreciated. We ended up going with a solid patio cover that has electrical inside. They put a ceiling fan in for us, we just had to supply the fan. Mario and one other gentleman installed the patio cover. A few days after the concrete footing dried, they installed the cover, ran the electrical and painted it to match our house. It came out very nice. Mario even returned several months later to improve the slant of the cover. We had some drainage issues where it was draining off both sides, instead of just one side. He spent an hour or two lifting one side slightly, then caulking and that made the difference. It drains great now. We spent about $11,000 on the 14' x 17' cover, which is a lot of money compared to a wooden patio cover, but no more termites. We chose to go with fiberglass pillars because we have kids and we've seen aluminum patio covers where they have dents and dings in them. After nearly 30 years in our home, we decided it was time to get a nice patio cover professionally installed. In that time, I've built my own patio covers twice out of wood, and they've both been destroyed by termites. This time we decided to go with a metal patio cover for it's durability and low maintenance. We found Patio Warehouse here on Yelp and we were impressed with the Yelp rating. Customers seem to love their work, so we decided to drop in to their showroom and see them. We found a full display of products and options there and the people were nice, so we set up a visit to our home. The initial visit was brief and informative. All our questions were answered, and suggestions and options were offered. Jarod said we'd have a drawing and a price via email soon, and we received the info later the same day. We decided to proceed and gave our deposit so they could order materials for our job. Our particular patio cover job is a bit more complicated than most. For example, because our existing eaves are so low the new patio cover has to be mounted up on our existing roof and then extend out over the patio or else the new cover would be too low. We also wanted an insulated patio cover to both keep it quiet and to keep it cool. We wanted plenty of lighting (5 fixtures) and big ceiling fans, and of course electric supplied to those things. And our patio cover is a huge "L" shape, so there are all those angles to figure. Lots of things to factor in here, and lots of chances for mistakes. But there were none. Our installation began on a Monday and was projected to take 3 or 4 days. These people arrived on time, worked hard, kept quiet and busy the whole time, and were generally very pleasant to have on the property. They had my old patio cover down and out of my life in about an hour, and began the job of putting together this huge new patio cover. They finished by the end of the second day, not 3 or 4. I can say this project came out even better than we were expecting. The quality of both the materials and the people are first class. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with any aspect of this company. Bennie as our salesman was great and answered all my questions and spent time with me to make sure we got the right patio cover we wanted. Unfortunately, once the sales was complete, I never heard from Bennie again. Instead, I got Karra which would give me status and remind me when I owed money, Tony, who is the project manager and dealt with permitting. Early in the project I had to meet with Tony 3 times to review the project and get measurements. It was a waste of my time honestly, I had to take time out of my workday to meet with him each time. I had already approved the project and it had been measured previously. Then once it was time to start the project I got Marlon (a subcontractor, not an employee of patiowarehouse), But I didn't meet Marlon until AFTER the inspector showed up before Marlon even started. Marlon dug out the footings and rescheduled the inspector. The inspector said our pool plumbing was too close and the gas line wasn't vented, so he failed the inspection. I called the pool company and the next day they were out and moved the plumbing. They didn't vent the gas line, but said they would do so before pre-deck inspection. Marlon scheduled the inspector again and the inspector came, but Marlon wasn't there and didn't leave the plans, so the inspector failed it again. He scheduled the inspector again the next day and I stayed to make sure it was taken care of (took time off work again). The inspector passed the footings while I was there, even though the gas line wasn't sleeved because he agreed it would be checked before predeck. So Marlon fills the footings in with cement and asked me if I wanted to keep the dirt from the footings, I said no, it needs to be removed before the pool company shows up in 2 days. Marlon comes back the next day with his wheelbarrow and uses my shovels, but he only stays an hour and doesn't remove it all. The pool company arrives the next day and immediately removed the dirt. I don't hear from Marlon again for 2 weeks (which is fine, he can't finish until the pool company is done with the patio). When he arrives, he asks where his wheelbarrow is. I have no idea, I assume the pool company thought it was theirs and took it (along with my shovels). Over the build of that patio cover Marlon keeps asking me for it, but I asked the pool company and they just shrugged their shoulders. They can't keep track of that, he should have finished the job and taken it with him, or at least come and get it over those two weeks. Marlon finishes the build and honestly it looks great. He did a great job. I love it. But why the 3 stars? One was the unprofessionalism of Marlon and no-showing the inspector and lack of getting the work done when he said he would and then kept asking me about the wheelbarrow. The other star is where I'm at now. In just a week after the patio cover was installed, the ceiling fans stopped working. I emailed Karra and let her know. All she told me was that my service request was received and added to the queue. No timeline given. After a week I asked for status with no response. It's now been another week and no response. So I'm not sure if they have so many problems with their builds that their service is behind, or now that I'm paid up they just don't care. But that's where I'm at. Beautiful patio cover with non-working ceiling fans and no status on when they'll be fixed. Update: After posting this review, I received a call from Jarod and we had a good discussion. He admitted there were some issues here and had Marlon and Tony come out and get the ceiling fans fixed (loose wire). The next day, I also had an issue with the lights. They found some bad wiring from a previous remodel and fixed that as well. Because of this, I bumped up my review up to 4 stars. read more

We used Patio Warehouse to install an outdoor patio cover with louvers that open & close. We added a 'rain sensor' that will close the louvers automatically if moisture is detected. The cover is operated by a hand held remote control, much like a TV remote. They were great in the design of the cover, keeping us in the loop for when the framing & louvers would arrive locally, & the target date for installation. When we decided to upgrade our backyard space we looked at a number of patio cover companies. We spent 6 - 8 months visiting showrooms, having a number of recommended companies come out for quotes and reviewing designs. What was surprising was a number of companies were willing to accommodate our design requests if we did NOT PERMIT the project. Please don't fall into that trap! When we met with Patio Warehouse they gave us the design we wanted and suggested a number of great options for our outdoor living space. We have a 31' wide patio cover and we only have 2 posts across that span! Everyone else wanted 3-4 posts and that wasn't ideal for our backyard. We have a one story home and they mounted the cover on our high enough on our roof that we have a 9 foot ceiling! So we don't feel cramped with the height and we have a great unobstructed view with the posts being so far apart. The installation team was always in communication with us about scheduling each step of the process. This was a big install and they handled it well. We are very pleased with the quality and the design elements. From the light packages they used to the space heater options available, it is all high quality and well thought out. Our backyard was untenable for many years and now whatever the weather conditions, we can sit comfortably and entertain family and friends. Start to finish the PW team was great to work with (Bennie, Tony, Frank, Bryant, Jarod, and Kara too). There are lower priced patio covers, that will cut corners (no permits), but I will recommend PW to anyone who places a premium on high quality and a great customer experience. read more

We had a temporary patio cover for years, and it was time for a "real Patio cover! Jarod, co-owner, listened to our desire for a detached Patio. The crews were conscientious and professional and nice people to boot.
