Diner, good food, good service... Prices are very cheap, service was fast and friendly.. Small cozy restaurant.. I ordered 2 scrabble eggs, with home fries and bacon.. Big portions, everything cooked to order. I really like this place and this was my first time here. Cash only establishment, but it's an ATM machine by the front door.

Breakfast sandwiches are great and reasonably priced. Nice little breakfast spot for a quick bite

Met best friend, Pots & Pans, for breakfast. I drove down from Windsor Locks; he drove up from Astoria. Limited street parking in the area. We arrived just before 8:30. My first impression was Twilight Zoneish, in that the restaurant was totally empty. Not a good sign. Possibly, as P & P suggested, it was because Yalies were on winter break. Still... Cozy atmosphere run by husband and wife. My western omelet was very good, home fries just okay (not spiced and not very hot). P & P thought his blueberry pancakes were very good. His side of sausage good. Prices were all over the place. For example, a side order of CBH (from a can) for $6 seemed high, but a large orange juice only $2.50. Many other examples. Service good (only two other customers came in while we were there). Coffee also good. Maybe business picks up when Yalies return.

We had breakfast here because it was close to our hotel. They are cash only, but prices are pretty affordable. Standard diner food at great prices.

Very true to what other reviewers mentioned- Fast, cheap but still delicious breakfast option Went on a Saturday morning Got coffee right away.. and ordered their western omelette! Totally came out to be 11~12 dollar w the coffee! They don't have a big selection but enough for a diner like breakfast! Cash only Will definitely be back if in the area

Patricias's is the the epitome of breakfast food! It's a simple, classic restaurant and had everything I was looking for from a breakfast. The pancakes were honestly the best I had T-T super soft and homemade :') It was affordable and delicious, highly recommend. Service was quick and straight to the point, remember to bring cash since they're cash only!

The place was literally next door to the hotel I stayed in, so you can't beat location. Before you keep reading there's something you need to know: they only accept cash. I ordered the Western omelette and it was great. It also took a second to be ready. If you're looking for great breakfast, fast and inexpensive, Patricia's is the place.

Exactly what you might expect from a mom and pop operation. Good food, friendly service and a fair price.

This place is clearly a local favorite as the small parking lot was full, but we lucked out as someone was pulling out as we arrived. The service was top notch! We were greeted by a friendly young woman who seated us right away in a 2 person booth. The place is your classic stainless steel exterior and the inside was packed with happy patrons. The people in the booth next to us said they rarely dine out but they frequent Georgie's for their food. We were served by 3 different young women who were super friendly and professional. Before we got our food I was thinking I would come back for the service alone. Now the food. I ordered Georgie's omelette with home fries. 5/5. Excellent omelette and though the home fries were just potatoes they were cooked with some crunchy bits that simply elevated them. Laura got the eggs Benedict and she loved it. 5/5. We also ordered the buckwheat pancakes with blueberries and bananas. These were the best pancakes I've ever eaten 5/5! On top of it they serve organic food and locally sourced ingredients. The diversity of their staff was another added feature. This place is special!!! Laura and I agreed that it was the best meal we ate during our New Haven weekend. I would go on a 1.5 hour road trip for this place. Top notch!

The Cafe consists of generous seating on both sides with a large bar stretching from the front door down towards the middle of the restaurant. We were sitting on the backend portion of identical tables and chairs. Our server was pleasant and friendly and our party of three were about to be very happy with what was in store for us? I was told that we had to arrive early because this popular little neighborhood nook, fills up at a moment's notice? We arrived at 8:00am and it was jamming. The biggest setback for us was the service. Our server wasn't very attentive and spent the entire time conversing with every other couple (and we were the only gay people there so it felt discriminatory dare we say?). He didn't check on us, didn't offer us drinks and didn't talk to us at all, but everyone else was getting a laugh and a chuckle out of him. There were also very very minor microaggressions we noticed but they were so micro, we didn't really feel as though we could say anything. The place is very cute though, it has a nice cutesie vibe.
