    Failed Order Message

If you're going to run a business, RUN A BUSINESS! I eat at Jack's Deli once in a while, so I noticed Patricio's Pizza and thought I'd try it someday. Today I was craving pizza, looked at the Yelp reviews for Patricio's and decided to place an order. Their online ordering system is thoroughly automated. I decided on my order, gave my credit card information, and then noticed that if you do a debit (like an electronic check from your bank), they give you a $5 discount. What the heck... I entered my banking information, including my password, which I had reservations about and instantly regretted, and it said that it didn't go through. I had to completely start over and reenter my credit card info! I received an automated message with a countdown timer telling me that they were working on taking my order. From what I gather, when an order comes in over the system, the restaurant is notified (a beep?) and they have about 3 minutes to confirm the order and give you a pick up time. Didn't happen! At the end of the count down, I received a message that the order had failed, but my card had been charged! (But don't worry-- they would refund it promptly!) Seriously?! I repeated the entire procedure again-- entered my credit card information, watched the counter tick down 3 minutes, and... it failed again! Apparently no one picked up! I decided to call the restaurant directly and place my order over the phone, the old fashioned way. I let it ring ten times-- no answer. I thought maybe they were closed on Mondays, so I looked up their hours. Nope-- they're open! I briefly considered driving over there, and then I decided, "Oh, Hell no! I'm not going to beg this company to take my order!" If you read their reviews, you'll notice a common theme; the employees are rude and they don't care! It always mystifies me when someone opens a restaurant, presumably to make money, and allows it to go to Hell because the employees don't treat their customers with respect! It's now several hours later. My checking account was charged TWICE for pizzas that I never received, and as of now, the charges haven't been refunded! I'm sure they will be, at some point, but this is so totally unprofessional and unacceptable! I will NEVER order from them again-- I don't care how good the pizza is! What an absolute JOKE this was! I ordered a pizza from another restaurant that appreciates their customers!

Worst pizza in Orcutt. Don't waste your money every time I order here it's awful. The toppings don't even stick to the pizza. Unfortunately it's gone downhill fast.

Loved the pizza dough. Just wish toppings were ontop of the cheese. Dunno if could request that next time but I really liked the pizza

This place used to be good, but now it is absolute garbage. Way overpriced pizza, and they charge $2.50 for a small 2 oz ranch. Save your money and go to Klondike. This is what I got for $14 plus $2.50 for the ranch. What an absolute pathetic joke. Whoever says this is the best pizza in town is a lying donkey that eats crayons for snacks. Stay away from this shithole.

    12" Margherita Pizza

Ordered a Margherita pizza for $33. Got 16 and a half pounds of mozzarella, 3 whole chunks of Vons salsa tomato's, and a sneeze of oregano on 3/4 inch's of gummy dough. To add to the fact that a 12 inch pizza cost me 33 dollars, only 9.5 inches was edible as the crust fractures and scratches the roof of your mouth like broken glass. Nonetheless, I cannot go without saying the ranch was the ONLY article of food that provided any illusion of worth, in my eyes. Service was good, will not return.

After reading most the reviews, I decided to give them a try since they're right around the corner from where we live. Placed the order through yelp app which is fulfilled by grub hub. It was about an hour pick up time which seemed really high but it is what it is. I arrived at the time it said to and it was empty, one family I think was there. I tell them I have a pick up and they can't find it, I say it was through grub hub and they say no one printed it or wrote it down. They offered to make it but it would be 20 mins. Luckily, they had one sitting on the oven for another family that wanted it to go so they gave me that one and off we go. Now to the actual food. Ordered a large (16 inch) pepperoni. Simple pie can't go wrong with it and should tell you a lot about the pizza. Good size and plenty of toppings. It is a thick pizza. Not necessarily the dough but everything layered on top makes it thick. The cheese is a lot and it is put on top of the toppings. There was a lot of pepperoni as well. My guess is this is why people like this place, bang for your buck. In my opinion though it's too much. The dough wasn't fully cooked, the pepperoni wasn't fully cooked and the cheese is just too thick, not to mention that once it's not piping hot, it hardens a little and eats very meaty. The Pizza is fine but nothing to rave about, in my opinion, especially for what you're paying. If I'm craving pizza there are a lot of places that are less expensive and taste as good or better. If you like a lot of cheese and toppings, this is the place for you. If you prefer a more traditional pie, definitely go elsewhere. The service seems to be hit or miss and had they not had that pizza ready for the other family, this would've been a worse review.

Especially when the world is crashing down on you from the most recent loss of the love of your life for the past 32 years. Can you imagine trying to find a place to share your wife's childhood and adult adventures and experiences with those who knew her life better than I did before we met? What made it difficult? Every venue in town had either an academic graduation, a sports celebration, or just a large party of some sort, so booking a place was hard. When I called Giavanni's, our favorite restaurant for the past 9 years, I expected the same response as I got from the other restaurants. What I got was like a pioneer wagon train under attack, seeing the US Cavalry counterattacking and rescuing the people in the train. Can you imagine their response, despite prior reservations, to groups on the same time and date? If you guessed no can do, you were dead wrong! It was like in the song Big Bad John saving his coal miner buddies in the collapsed mine. They stepped up to the plate, swung the bat, and accomplished a home run! Yes, they made the deep, gut-wrenching sorrow burning in my heart lighten up with a simple 'yes, can do that,' which shone a light on what would never happen after the memorial service. Taking a step back, there is gold not literally to be found in their menu of Italian Cuisine, not just pizza. There is also a buffet that I recommend and encourage you to experience. I suggest you get there early, cause it is usually packed with local customers. Check out the days and hours for this heavenly food from their kitchen. So, if you really miss eating the highest-quality Italian Cuisine, warm, friendly people providing the almost-lost hometown customer service, look no further! Giavannis has it and much more.

We ordered a BBQ chicken pizza which was surprisingly delicious and the wife ordered a beer. We sat in the bar area and I decided to go with the self pour option where they give you a card to tap a sensor and select any beer on tap to pour yourself. Me and a buddy of mine had some issues with a few of the self pour taps where we just believed they were out of beer and it also over charged us. I told a server about my single issue where it over charged me and he said he would take care of it but my friend had the worst of luck. 2/3 beers he attempted to pour were simply out. This was when Jess, our savior came to the rescue. When it was time to pay the tab, she comped both of our orders. Mind you, I had 4 beers. Guess what the total was? Yeah, $28. Paid for my wife's beer and our pizza and because I had a single complication with the beer self pour station, she comped the 4 beers I had as well as my friend's order. This is Grade A customer service and a reason why I'd return to Blast 825 Brewery, so shoutout to Jess! We all appreciate you.

While I had high hopes for a good meal, the experience was significantly marred by several issues: Poor Service: We were largely ignored, with staff failing to address requests. The restaurant appeared severely understaffed, leading to incredibly long wait times for service. It took 25 minutes to be asked what we were drinking, and another 20 minutes for two beers to arrive Food Quality Issues: The food served was of low quality, specifically corn rib appetizer were ice cold , the tri-tip was very over cooked and was difficult to chew. My wife ordered the orcutt hill salad entree. The salad was missing two ingredients. Prosciutto and candied pecans. When asked about it the waitress said I will bring you some. She brought a cup of smoked ham, not prosciutto. She indicated that the kitchen was out of candied pecans. Don't you think that should be disclosed to the customer before ordering ? The salad was small, not an entree size. When we asked about seeing a manager, we got a bill with a neighborhood 15% reduction. When asked about that, I was told, that's all the manager is willing to do. Really ? I hope you take this feedback seriously to improve the experience for future guests.
