Kitchen sinked backed up on a Sunday, called Roto Hero because they said 24/7 & had +8k 4 star reviews. They communicated well. The seemingly very nice guy came Monday morning & told me I had $13k worth of problems (showed very blurry camera shots of roots). Called Drainology for 2nd opinion--Devin came on time w a very clear camera, said just needed snaking. 90 min later, his snaker, Jorge, came, plunged the drain a few times, and problem was gone. They did inspections when we were buying the house and were absolutely great. We would have loved to hire them to do the work as they knew the pipes already, but scheduling was very hard. When we finally got the date, they canceled it a couple of hours prior by email and said that they'll need to reschedule for the next day or following week. I said no problem, just let us know, but they never got back to us. I contacted them later for an update and never got a reply. It's fine if they're busy, but why not just say so instead of ghosting. read more

Whew! Look no further for a clogged drain. After calling a few other plumbers I found on Yelp, Patrick was the only one who gave me a reasonable quote and time frame on the spot. The plumber arrived sooner than expected and for slightly cheaper than quoted. He snaked the shower drain and tested with water 5 times before completely unclogging. My drain was 99.9% blocked and he fixed it within 30 minutes. Further, he was very professional, pleasant and quick to fix. I definitely recommend calling Patrick. read more

Unfortunately, I did not have the same great experience "others" are reporting. It took serious effort to have them service my unit. They were referred to me so I emailed, called...etc. I did not hear from them until 2 days later, even when their outgoing phone message states they return calls within 10 minutes. I didn't expect them to call within 10 minutes but at least withing an hour. Nope, they didn't call until two days later. Two days after initial contact, they sent a very young guy who spent over 2.5 hours to fix the sink and he wasn't able to fix it. The next day, another guy came and finally fixed the clogged sink. I wasted a LOT of time waiting for them to show up. They were never on time either. NEVER AGAIN if I have a choice. Yelpers, be warned as the glowing reviews could deceive you. I have used them for years for the home I've owned for over 25 years. They are honest & prompt. I recently returned from months out of town on a job and when I came back, the pipes are clogged. They came out on a Saturday, unclogged the pipes & the price was very reasonable. But just three weeks later the outdoor sewer pipe was backing up again - I called them & they came out the very next day and cleared the pipes at NO CHARGE. If Mike comes out, its a fairly good experience, but their reports take several days to come back and you basically have to beg for them. If Patrick comes out, you can just forget it. Never never call those Rooter Guys............PATRICK'S DRAINOLOGY is the BEST!!!! Patrick is honest, right on time and knows his stuff! I had raw sewage coming out of my clean out. Those "rooter guys" have been here 3 times in the last 4 months only to tell me I needed a new sewer line after using their out-dated camera. (I could see nothing) and their crappy snake. Patrick snaked my clean out and miraculously it opened up. Patrick's camera was first class, I could see everything all the way to the city sewer. Bottom line..........He discovered a slight crack near my clean out which will be repaired by Declan Plumbing. Patrick is the best! I don't know how anyone would not be satisfied with his work. Something was stuck in the pipe connecting one bathroom tub and the toilet to the rest of my house and water started backing up to both the tub and the toilet. I was freaking out and called Drainology around 9am. The lady was nice enough to accommodate me and scheduled a same day appointment right away. Patrick came around 12pm and fixed everything in 2 hours. The snake was not long enough to reach the area that's stuck through the toilet so he had to go onto the roof to do it.
