I brought my 2010 Honda Civic here in hopes to get it fixed quickly knowing that it was the vacuum…read morehose that needed to be fixed due to a leak. They took my car apart and told me about 4 different things that needed to be fixed that had nothing to do with what is wrong with it. They priced it at $497, and when we told them we didn't have that much to spend because we already knew what was wrong and what it should cost us they told us it would still be 3 hours before our car was ready because they had to "put it back together" and the dude working on it was on a lunch break... so without even getting any service done they took 4 hours and charged us $119 just to tell us what the alleged "problem" was... they have no idea what they are doing and they are very rude and lazy.

Please be aware the previous owners sold out. New owners are a few state chain operation that works…read moreon commission and upselling. Learned the hard way. Had car towed there was told the car ran good was ready for pickup. Tried starting car after paying 800.00, didn't start after they installed a STARTER SOLENOID. Was told the high price was because of disposal fees and labor. Its people like this that ruin the excellent reputation built over years for simple greed. Ask some of the folks in halls.I know I was taken because I have put these car parts on in thirty minutes or less when I was younger and also the mark up on the Solenoid was 110.00 plus disposal fees. When they said you need a STARTER we can analysis it, that's when I had the car towed. This is a older vehicle, which was maintained by the previous owners perfectly. Being a older vehicle you would maybe think it would be easier for them. Also, these are in no way shape or form certified mechanics like the sign still says on the building,in my neighbors opinion. Money goes to quick now. If needed don't go here. It's also under a new name.

Ok. I have a transmission issue…read more Brought it in to determine the root-cause. They found an old (not cleared) thermostat problem that I fixed a year ago. It didn't totally close, thus not allowing the Cat o get up to temperature quickly enough. I replaced for $25 and 45 minutes, easy. Check-engine light disappeared. But obviously the code locked in. And also they said I needed a full replacement transmission. Which I don't deny may be required. , sorta. I am 71 years old, done professional car work since 17. The ONLY reason I am not doing this myself is age. But that said, before I would tear down anything I would already know what component is bad. A valve, cam sensor, etc. My symptoms are of a valve-body stuck valve, causing the clutch(s) to not fully engage. Thus I wanted a more concise explanation for why I should give them $5,000 - $6,000 to replace the entire Xmission. I really should have had a talk with the trained mechanic that could go into depth about the detailed reason it is giving me problems. But I got the worker at the register explaining the estimate to me. I have 100% confidence she has ZERO true mechanical knowledge/training past what to say. She should have called the Tech to talk to me. Had that happened I would have set an appointment to have it replaced. But given the weak thermostat ($330) ghost diag, I had zero confidence about the rest of their work. Reminds me of "give a kid a hammer and everything looks like a nail".

These guys--I can't say enough about them…read more In a world of "mechanics" who know only how to replace parts, Auto Pro employs true mechanics who know the art automotive repair. More than once, a mechanic here has spent a few hours on my car diagnosing a problem that other garages couldn't detect (even after I described thoroughly) They are honest, capable, and eager to save your money rather than up selling services and repairs that you don't need (unlike most dealerships and chain companies). I tend to avoid small shops--I like to plug into a corporate structure. That said, I trust these guys with my auto when real work is on the table.

DO NOT COME HERE! They will SCAM you!!!…read more I brought my car in to get a diagnostic on the air conditioning not blowing cold at idle. They came back with the quote pretty quickly. Of course I assumed AC work may or may not be expensive depending on the problem and after receiving a high quote I needed to run it by my husband. Also come to find out they charge mostly the labor because we found the parts I needed online for $215. (My quote was almost $1600 not including the money they robbed me of) They said they still needed to charge me ($217) because they topped off (it wasn't empty) and recharge my ac. I didn't ask them to do either of those things, just to run a diagnostic which I would have paid for if there was a cost for that, no problem. I asked the man at the counter if doing those things was going to temporarily help with the cold air and he said yes. A lie. Come to find out because my issue is my compressor, recharging and adding more Freon was a total waste of time and money. That's $217 wasted on something I didn't even ask them to do. I imagine they won't be willing to refund me so all I can do is try to help someone else to STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!
