Five star staff and the food is great! We love this place and it's our every Friday routine but.... Today we walked in and the heat hit us in the face! Evidentially the owner had locked out the thermostat. We tried to stay inside to eat but no way, went to the patio. I hope this changes, otherwise we'll need to find another routine. Not going to pay todays prices to be miserable. Update: owner still hasn't addressed the AC issue. Hot and muggy inside, I'm not paying good money to sit and be miserable. I hope this is addressed soon. I really feel for the awesome waitstaff. Really good people, all of them. 2nd Update: it appears ownership has listened and the AC is back on! Thank you. I give three stars because of the staff definitely tries to accommodate everyone, my food was lukewarm at best I ordered country fried chicken and eggs with cheese and hash browns (over cooked) and the pancake (hard as hell). We had a party of 10 and everyone had some issue with their food again my pancake was extremely hard and not even warm at all, my county fried chicken was decent at best the eggs were decent as well. My auntie's pancake was hard as well and her chili verde wasn't great either (as she said it didn't taste like it used it ). It was my first time being here and will be my last, my lafamila have been here before. But it's been awhile. I would've thought that with the amount of people they handle the food was amazing but sadly I was not impressed at all. It's funny as I ask the lafamila, they all say the same ehhh. my son had steak and (he's was a cook at a restaurant in Arizona js ) and he didn't like his food either. My mother in law had the club sandwich and she said it was decent. No one said wow this food was so great. My sister had chicken salad and he'll how can you mess that up and my sons boyfriend had a Belgian waffle and he said it was ok. My wife had some omelette and she said the same it was ok. Found this hidden gem while visiting Temecula. From the minute you walk in you feel the warm hospitality by Dotty and Lucas. Such friendly and professional service. Was immediately served coffee and water and Lucas was our server. Menu options were fantastic! Eggs Benedict were outstanding and menudo was the best we ever tasted. We even brought home extra orders of menudo. Such a wonderful experience dining here for breakfast. Will definitely return when in town. They open at 6 which works great for us; Tina, Patty and Lucas are the servers we know and they are the reason we have regularly gone there for years, they are great. Horrible service. We were seated immediately but were not given menus. The waitress's all should be given roller skates at the pace they were running through the dinning room. After being given our menus and having our orders finally taken, we did have somewhat of a wait. As the waitress was flying by she practically threw our plates at us. The one time she asked if everything was ok she was flying by and asking another customer if they needed a to go box. Never looked at us or acknowledged she was asking us the question but she said ladies and the other customer was a male. I was a waitress for many years and my daughter is currently. We were appalled at the lacking of any services. They were busy I admit. There was no hostess no bus person and the 4 waitresses they had were clearly overwhelmed. The food was just ok and nothing special for a Sunday breakfast. Definitely not worth that kind of rushed feeling. I am still questioning why I left a decent tip for a horrible experience and crappy service. I do not recommend this place to even my worst enemy. Been coming here for a few years now. It's a regular breakfast spot for us and I always recommend it when anyone asks for breakfast recommendations. The food is delish and portions are more than enough. But what really brings us back each time is the staff....more specifically Tina, Dotty and Lucas. Since day one they have always greeted us with a welcoming hello and huge smile. More recently the kitchen has changed, food is still delicious but it just seems like more kitchen fails than before. This place was simply amazing. The moment we walked in we were immediately greeted by our server Tina. Before we even sat down Tina asked if she could bring us coffee. Once seated she came over immediately to make sure our table was perfect, brought us menus and let us know what they're know for. She recommended a few dishes and I chose the menudo and my husband had the chili verde omelet with hash brows. While we waited for our food we absorbed the decor. Everything you'd expect and more depicting a nice country cafe complete with roosters, butterflies, bathroom doors that were painted to look like outhouses and country music. I'm not into country music but it really did complete the experience. The wait for the food was very short and it was DELICIOUS! Big portions that I couldn't finish but my husband did. While most restaurants give you a thimble of juice, there glasses there are big! I can't say enough about how amazing Tina was. Never again ! So much for supporting small business during the pandemic. My wife and kids went to Patsy's to pickup my Father's Day breakfast and when they got it home I started to eat it and noticed that they put alot of mushrooms in my omelet which it was ordered without, as I can't eat mushrooms, also there was no chili and the wrong cheese. My wife ordered eggs benedict for herself (which had no flavor) When we called to let them know about the poor quality and screw up on my omelet they told me they would not refund or credit us ($15 omelet & $15 benedict trash) next time we went there unless we drove back right then which is 15 miles each way. I am now sorry that we would give this place our buisness throughout the pandemic when you had to order carryout (even though they served inside when not supposed to)only to be treated this way when they are now allowed to open back up. Good thing there are other quality choices close by like Annie's and Moe's egg house across the street as they will be or new go to spots for breakfast. read more

This one star is not based on food. The cooks are always so amazing. Unfortunately a front of the house waitress gave me rotten butter. I spread the butter all over my yummy French toast. I ruined my meal! She didn't want to call the manager. But the manager should know front of the house gave me sour butter. I've never gotten sick here and I know it was not the cooks fault. Im not sure about those waitresses that were at closing on Monday 7/26......I am sick to my stomach. I'm just grateful my toddler is okay and thankful I didn't bring my gramma today! read more

Passing through Temecula on an empty stomach, we stopped here on a whim, we are so glad we did! The service from the moment we walked in was great! Everyone is so beyond friendly, including our server who always made sure our coffee was topped off. We were here for breakfast and the choices are plentiful and unique. The Chile verde omelette is over the top flavorful and so is the kielbasa and Swiss omelette. Having a biscuit and gravy plate as a side option to my omelette sealed the deal for me. I'm a huge fan of the omelettes, particularly the sausage, bacon, and cheese one. For the 'toast' choice, you can actually choose a pancake or biscuits and gravy and do say yes to their home made salsa, it's delicious too. Tip: Bring cash!
