Hubby and I have been going here for about a year now for breakfast and absolutely enjoy it. The coffee is great and someone is always walking around to refill your cup. Prices are decent, menu selection is great and the staff are amazing. They're always friendly and attentive. We live in Menifee and this is our go to place for breakfast on the weekend, basically because the few places for breakfast in Menifee we just don't like. ‍ Have taken a couple friends and family here and they've equally enjoyed it. Haven't tried any of their lunch options so can't comment much on them but their breakfast is always good. I typically order my hash browns extra crispy and they're always on point, when I order my eggs over medium, they're equally on point. Give it a try it won't disappoint. read more

Drove down to grab brunch at Mo's Egg House but they were closed due to kitchen problems. I spotted Patsy's Country Kitchen across the street and decided to give it a try. This restaurant has a homey feel and serves good American country food. I opted for the Country Fried Steak which came with a side of pancake and hash browns. I ordered my hash browns extra crispy and they came out perfectly delicious. Servers here are friendly and attentive. They are dog friendly here which is a huge plus for me! I'm always on the lookout for dog friendly restaurants and I'm happy that this is another that I can add to my list. We sat outside on their outdoor patio area which is shaded and comfortable. Visited patsy's today after not being here for a couple of years due to a move! We used to order the pork steak in the past which was flavorful, thick cut and with a bone. Today it was dry, as thin as a dime and completely over cooked. No flavor and CHEWY! My wife's sausage patty was the same, dry, overcooked and just a step below being burnt. The biscuits and gravy were also over baked. The bottoms of the biscuits were so brown and hard you had to use a knife to cut them! Gravy on the biscuits was tasteless and insipid ! We couldn't find any sausage in the country gravy either. Service from the kitchen was very slow. We counted only 5 tables in use at the time of our visit. Sorry Patsy. I love that I was able to get Fried Spam and egg with white rice (Although I knew it was minute rice, I'm still surprised they even had this item on their menu). This place is a staple for my family. Everyone who works there works hard and gives great service. It's nice to come into a place where the people who run it have a bit of personality. It's unabashed classic breakfast food - a little greasy, mostly tan, and extremely filling I see people complaining about "freshness" when they ordered biscuits and gravy or people saying their plates were "practically thrown at them" because the server was moving so fast. Seems their expectations were that of an organic farmers market or a hotel restaurant with table settings and multiple fork options. Look around, it's Pasty's Country Kitchen, their misaligned expectations are not Patsy's Fault. Shout outs to Pat, Dottie and Lucas for making every experience enjoyable. Visited here for the first time yesterday and enjoyed my meal. I ordered the bacon and cheese omelette which came with a choice of hash browns, home fried potatoes and toast, biscuit and gravy or pancake. I opted for the hash browns and pancake, and a cup of coffee. Now, the portion sizes....my goodness. This place has nothing on IHOP or Denny's. They did not skimp on the bacon (which many restaurants do) and the pancake was the size of a manhole! My word. Needless to say, my belly was super happy with this wonderful discovery. The omelette was very good, and so were the hash browns (they were even crispy!). The pancake however, in my opinion, was not very fluffy. It actually reminded me of memory foam.....but I digress. Coffee is ground fresh. Hubby ordered Patsy's Burito it was large and comes with side of their salsa. He enjoyed it very much. One waiter did a magic trick with my Dad we cannot figure out how he did the x in the hand.(nice he didn't have to entertain us). Just good people. This place is open for breakfast despite the shutdown by the state which is fine with me but their servers are wearing masks but under their noses and some are not wearing any masks at all. Clearly management is not concerned with protecting their staff of their patrons. Regular menus, salt and pepper shakers - same rag used to clean tables - and they sort of encourage patrons to separate tables but not enforced. One server - not wearing a mask at all ,gives a best hug to a huge guy not wearing any mask going to the bathroom -- I applaud restaurants that defy the order to close but those that opt not too should enforce logical and easy procedures to protect their employees and their customers. Additionally businesses that are cavalier in regards to protecting employees specifically open themselves to lawsuits and unfortunately businesses that clearly exhibit no effort to reduce the spread of the virus are rationally liable. I won't be back. During the pandemic or after- also suggests their effort at Norma hygiene is also doubtful. read more

Patsy's is another place that's in my local breakfast rotation list. They have a great menu with variety and their customer service is exceptional. Never am I disappointed when I come here. When you walk in, you automatically sense that country kitchen feel. The place is clean and organized. The bathroom is also clean which is great because not all places have clean restrooms. It is a bit small so the place can get really packed! Especially on a Sunday morning. The staff is so friendly and very attentive. They all work together no matter what section you're in or who helped you first. Their more like a family rather than employees. The way the employees work together is the epitome of teamwork. Spectacular job! Their menu has your standard breakfast items along with a variety of different things to choose from. They do serve "South of the Border" food and it is amazing! One of my favorite things to order here is their Red Chilaquiles with scrambled egg. It is so flavorful and cooked perfectly - not drenched in sauce, but not to dry. The beans and potatoes it comes with are also delicious! They have hot sauce other than Tabasco, too, which is nice (Cholula is my preference). Bonus points from me, they serve Farmer Bro's coffee! Looking for a solid breakfast with an old fashioned, Southern diner vibe? Honestly, while I am definitely a breakfast eater, I am well known for ordering the uncommon. Yep, lunch for breakfast. Especially when it comes to chili. The Chili size with a 1/2 lb burger patty was what suited me - a mild chili with beans. It was not the best, nor was it the worst, very middle of the road, but it was topped with a good, sharp cheddar and onions, and it was generous. Mr. B says there is no substitute for a nicely cooked pork steak and eggs. Unfortunately, this pork steak was just average, a bit overcooked and plainly seasoned. But if you consider what comes with it, there is still hope for a good breakfast here. That would be the biscuits and gravy and the fruit. There are many more choices, but these two impressed. They do a freshly baked biscuit that is light and authentically Southern. The country gravy is solid (meaning "a great, creamy recipe") even though it had less meat that my usual favorites. I tend to avoid gravy since many places try to pass off a wheat paste variety, but this time, I consumed it like a soup. Sure can't complain about the cup of fruit. It consisted of a generous medley of sweet melon, grapes, banana, and watermelon. Used to being served artificially ripened, pallid fruit, I was surprised the fruits were so sweet. Lucky? Don't know. So, even though both our individual meal choices had their disappointments, we loved the predictable but extensive menu. Went in for breakfast last Saturday. We were greeted warmly and told to sit wherever we wanted. The sweetest waitress came over and welcomed us and asked us if we wanted coffee. She was kind and thoughtful and full of energy. She introduced herself to us and made us feel very welcome! They have yummy flavored creamers and delicious home style food. Called in an order for 5 dishes. Claudia was super helpful. I went in to pickup and was amazed by how fast they got all the food ready. Restaurant was already 1/2 full. Checked my order and was pretty happy that breakfast for a family of 5 was under $50 tip included. The chile verde burrito was good, the bacon breakfast burrito was good. The chilaquiles were ok, but wasn't expecting a whole lot there. Salsa was good and fresh! Claudia was wearing a mask but I noticed nobody else was so (kitchen staff as well as diners) so just a heads up if you are playing it safe. They had a little sign in the front supporting Trump. My fault on returning to this restaurant thinking they would give training to there waitress. The waitress ( Dotty) that we had her attitude was bad at the end. I asked three times for a to go plate and the last time I asked her she had an attitude saying "I have other customers to wait on". If you're going to be a waitress you need to be positive even if your going to get frustrated don't take it out on the customers. Otherwise the food was great that's all I have to say I'm giving them one star for the food. she could of had a great tip if she had a better attitude! I give three stars because of the staff definitely tries to accommodate everyone, my food was lukewarm at best I ordered country fried chicken and eggs with cheese and hash browns (over cooked) and the pancake (hard as hell). We had a party of 10 and everyone had some issue with their food again my pancake was extremely hard and not even warm at all, my county fried chicken was decent at best the eggs were decent as well. My auntie's pancake was hard as well and her chili verde wasn't great either (as she said it didn't taste like it used it ). It was my first time being here and will be my last, my lafamila have been here before. But it's been awhile. I would've thought that with the amount of people they handle the food was amazing but sadly I was not impressed at all. It's funny as I ask the lafamila, they all say the same ehhh. my son had steak and (he's was a cook at a restaurant in Arizona js ) and he didn't like his food either. My mother in law had the club sandwich and she said it was decent. No one said wow this food was so great.
