We have tried many breakfast burritos and this one tops them all by far! The ingredients were fresh and hot. The size was so large we both couldn't finish one. The salsa was outstanding too! Wow! I don't know why I never tried this restaurant until recently. It was an early Saturday, like 7:00. I was hungry from just returning from the airport. Patsy's was open, so I thought I'd give it a try. The friendly waitress greeted me with a large hot coffee, just what I needed. The place was clean, had a nice homey atmosphere . I wasn't starving but I needed to eat, so she suggested the half biscuits and gravy plate with two eggs. When I got my plate,, it was gigantic! So much was left that I took most of it home for the next day. The sausage gravy was creamy and full of sausage, the biscuits were old fashioned and moist, full of flavor. They did offer indoor dining and answer the phone quickly when I asked about it. I ordered grits even though I read to the reviews and a lot of them said that they were hard as cement, they were thick and I could tell the water was not seasoned prior to pouring the uncooked grits into boiling water. We ordered Biscuits & Gravy, a side of Bacon, Sourdough Bread, Grits topped with shredded Cheddar Cheese, and Chilaquiles. The food wasn't very delicious and I would not have it again. It was quite bland, lacking the element of freshness or wide variety of options that looked yummy at the moment of ordering. Kamiyah or Kamea was our server, to wear her mask beneath her nose and was not following COVID guidelines. I was a bit nervous when I had read on Yelp that the tables were not wiped down very well. First thing I noticed is that their toilet doesn't flush well. The coffee was weak (McDonald's coffee is better) and the price ($2.25) is average for a cup of coffee. My husband ordered the Eggs Benedict with nicely cooked hash browns. He said the hollandaise sauce was so cold that it made the Eggs Benedict cold. $9.99 for this dish. He also ordered a side of bacon which he said was good. $3.99 for 5 strips of bacon. I took the waitress recommendation and ordered the Chili Verde Omelette that came with hash browns. The omelette was stuffed with pork and green sauce and topped with cheese. I don't normally order omelette but this omelette was good. The portion of my food was huge. They used a big oval plate and they filled it up. The omelette was big enough for me to have leftover. $11.29 Both of our meals came with toast which we never eat them anyway since we have the hash browns as our starch. No need to fill our bellies with more starch. They didn't even butter my husband's toast and they put margarine on my toast that never melted. I guess it's not important since we don't eat them but if I ever do I would like real butter. Excellent service because they came many times to fill our coffee but they spilled the coffee every single time. This place is average. The prices are not that cheap. read more
