    Mozzarella Burgee

Passing through, stopped for a burger. They had a unique one with a squared piece of panko breaded fried mozzarella cheese on top, instead of your typically melted American. Also had pickles and mayo. It was different, not sure I would order that again, but its worth a try. I just prefer the melty ooey goodness of the cheese incasing my burger patty, and it was a literally too crispy - panko takes over the burger. Fries were battered and excellent! Price is about par for inflation and its a small mom & pop so they gotta stay in business. I think for the full meal (burger, fried, drink) it was $19. They have daily specials so will be trying some other stuff!

The service was wonderful. We went for breakfast and they had the quintessential small town diner where everyone knows everyone, probably because they do. They aren't fake country or that new age farm country, this is just a simple diner serving up some good food with a great atmosphere. If you want something fast, this is not for you, go somewhere else! Everything here is made to order, with love and care. They even have not one, but 2, Yes TWO different vegan meals for lunch. I'm sure they have more but I was just browsing. I can't wait to go back.

I highly recommend Patti's Diner. The restaurant is super clean and nicely decorated. The tables are not crammed in which allows a reasonably comfortable distance from others. There's an outside play area and a side dining room in addition to the main dining room. Restrooms were also very clean & tidy. The customer service was top notch. Friendly and helpful ladies who look like they enjoy their job. No bad attitudes here. Excellent customer service! The food was really good. My belly is sufficiently stuffed with the goodness of a mozzarella burger & onion rings. I didn't realize the mozzarella was going to be fried but I'm not complaining. It was really good. A huge slice of fried mozzarella on an equally sized burger patty. Husband got the mushroom Swiss burger with caramelized onions and fries. We both loved our burgers. They were hand pressed, seasoned well and juicy. We live about an hour away but you can bet we will be back. They have new hours starting today..open every day & close at 9pm every night!

Was driving through and saw this establishment and had to stop. The white building looked rustic it had an old dinner vibe. Once inside the waitress were friendly and immediately sat me down. Inside of the restaurant was like I was sitting in somebody's kitchen. The restaurant was clean and spacious inside. Furthermore the restrooms were clean. I ordered the chicken fried chicken. The plate was as amazing and the mashed potatoes were amazing. The mashed potato tasted homemade and fresh. The chicken fried chicken was flavorful but the meat was tough. 9 out of 10 times, I betting the chicken is tender but for some reason I got a tough piece. Anyways will definitely try this place out again the breakfast looks delicious .

Service was 5 stars. They are attentive, accommodating, and pleasant. The ambiance is what you'd imagine for a small town diner. I ordered their spicy chicken sandwich. I had some French fries and a couple onion rings. The sandwich would have definitely hit the spot had the bottom bun not been soggy from so much buffalo sauce. An easy fix to keep this from happening is to put the cheese and vegetables on the bottom to protect the bun, or only put the sauce on top of the chicken and then stack veggies. All in all, I really want to try some of their other food items in the future and will be definitely going back.

Two eggs and pancake plate... so much food and really good too!

This is another hidden gem off the beaten path. Their food is amazing and I know why locals wanna keep this place a secret. Service is super friendly and the food is great. Definitely a must stop place if you are in the area. Support your small businesses!

Sandwiches, chicken fried streak, burgers and catfish. Very clean and casual with prompt, friendly staff. Portions were a good size and the Catfish was fair. The sweet potato fries were very good. Was torn about giving them a 4th star because the food was fine but nothing memorable. I will try something else next time and update the review if needed.

Does look like much when you walk in. But the people are friendly and the burgers was shockingly good. The desert was really good too.

I had salad that was stuffed with fresh lettuce, apples, candied pecans, blue cheese and a delicious apple vinaigrette dressing. I added grilled chicken, making it a healthy, yet filling meal. My friend had the chicken crepes which came with thick, beautiful asparagus and broccoli. The crepes were served with a mushroom cream sauce that made it a very rich dish. The chicken tortellini soup was the special of the day, and had a thick broth as the base, stuffed with chicken meat and cheese filled pasta. Everything was delicious, right down to the warm yeast rolls. Brookwood is a fun place to walk around after enjoying your meal because it has a beautiful nursery and gift shop with unique offerings, including some items made in the vocational programs. Many of the employees in the cafe and other commercial areas are part of the vocational programs, as well. All of them are friendly and proud to serve their patrons and supporters.

Our server was excellent, very friendly and attentive. Portions are big, even for the kids meals. I ordered the classic French toast and would say to skip that. It was soggy and mostly tasted like plain eggs. The texture and taste just wasn't it. I ended up sharing my husband's pancakes instead and those were really good. I tried the hash browns that came with my husband's meal and the hash browns tasted weird too so I'd also recommend skipping that. The menu is pretty big with lots of options and prices are standard. Overall I'd be open to coming back and trying other dishes next time.

I sat down to a table sticky with syrup. I had to request it be cleaned and then clean my arms and phone. I then ordered the tri tip with a salad, medium rare. When I unwrapped my silverware it was stuck to the napkin as it was also covered in syrup. The meal came (not the salad) and I saw my dried out, well done slices of beef. Once my salad finally arrived, I sent the meal back requesting it be cooked as ordered. The manager came by (super nice woman) and apologized. The waitress then came back (also a total sweetheart) and apologized, stating the meal would be comped. I explained that wasn't necessary but she insisted. Then the new meal came. It certainly wasn't overcooked this time. In fact, it wasn't cooked. It was lightly seared on the outside but raw and cold inside. Thanks for the offer of a free raw meal, but I chose to leave and go somewhere else.

The atmosphere here is lively, the bartenders and servers remember everyone, and people are happy to be out and in their community. From the bar, you have to try the El Pepino, their version of a spicy cucumber margarita. At once refreshing and delicious. From the kitchen, everything we've ever had here was fantastic, but I especially recommend their steak. The cherry on top here was the treatment my wife (a vegetarian) received when ordering a slightly nuanced modified salad. She wanted the Jalapeño Chicken Salad with the chicken substituted for avocado. Not only did they happily serve her that, the kitchen staff came out to the bar to personally confirm she was alright with the other ingredients because the jalapeños were fried using eggs. You just don't see that kind of service at restaurants these days. If you're reading this, do yourself a favor and go to Anthonie's.
