Stopped in here for lunch on Saturday when I was on a walk in the neighborhood. Super fast service and staff was super friendly! Ordered a plate with rice and beef with a little side of soup. All was pretty good! Not too much of an ambiance but would be a great place for takeout.

Consistency. That is Patti's Kitchen in a nutshell. Their food always hits the spot! This visit we ordered their Pad Kra Pow and has to be the best in the area. We also ordered the Yen Ta Fo, but it wasn't my favorite. No need to worry though, we also ordered our tired and true Boat Noodles (New Nam Tok) and this dish... this dish right here brings me back every time. Flavor is consistently delicious and I highly recommend.

I had high expectations for this place because of the raves and reviews from family and friends. Unfortunately, my visit was quite the opposite. The place is small and service is okay, even on the slow days. Their menu was confusing because there were two types of menu, a noodle and then a food menu. I don't know why it just wasn't all on one menu. We ordered from both menus. Pad Thai: 4/5, probably the best thing there. Popular Pork Noodle Soup: 3/5, it was good but broth was concentrated a bit. Grilled Pork: 3/5, it was good. Pork Larb: 3/5, it was okay. Chicken kaprow: 1/5, very salty. Could barely eat it. Pad see ew: 1/5, very sweet and not enjoyable. Overall, visit was just okay. We came with a party of 7 at 1pm and was charged automatic gratuity for subpar service. I will not be going back.

Finally made it to this highly recommended spot. We got the Kenwood Nam (wontons and soup) and Phad Thai and they were both very good. Probably the best phad Thai I've had in a very long time. If I could make one small change, I'd rather it be just a little less saucy. And obviously we had to get the coconut cake. It was good. Young tender coconut between layers of moist yellow cake and icing.

Place was awesome. From the service to the food great experience, it was my first time there and they took time to explain their menu how we should order and asked our like before making recommendations. The food was amazing the flavors are big and bold and really hits the spot. The pad Thai was one of the best we have had. I would truly recommend you take the time to stop in and grab a bite you won't regret it. Place is amazing. I cannot speak to the authenticity of the dishes as I have only had the Pad Thai before from what we had but I will say the Yeh-Ta-Fa was really well balanced spicy tangy warm. The seafood super well cooked and flavorful the noodles the perfect bite and you can control the spice level I asked for hot and it was great. The puffs were really good like a samosa flaky and just a pillow of goodness. The filling was flavorful and a great way to start the meal.

Ba-mee-hang - brothless - pork - egg noodles - yu choy(like bok choy), fried garlic - very good!

Been to Patti's Kitchen three times now, & my second visit was my favorite. My fave dish was actually the brothless dish with pork called Ba-me-hang. I still think about this dish and I sure wish I ordered it on my last visit. My last visit was a chilly night and I knew this place had tons of soup options. This time I picked the seafood soup called Yen-ya-fo. I order it mild with egg noodles, but unfortunately it was still spicy. I did still eat it and I know the flavor is pretty enhanced but it's def not a repeat for me. I ordered my hubby the pork soup with egg noodles and added won ton, but I'd agree with him that his soup lacked flavor. His second visit was also the better visit for us. I do want to come back here just for the pork brothless dish. The server was the same server as last time and she's really friendly, helpful, & will definitely give great recommendations. This place is clean and comfy and I would def recommend it for Thai and Lao food in the area.

Pork ka-prow and Thai curry puffs

Yum! First time ordering from Patti's Kitchen. My husband and I shared an order of the Thai curry puffs and each had pork ka-praw for lunch today. Never had either of the dishes before. Not sure how it's supposed to taste like but these dishes are delicious!!! The puffs are a little bit sweet but the sauce that comes with the order it's like a marinated cucumber salad?! Pairs nicely with it. Ka- Prow, it's just like it said on the menu, ground pork ( in my case) Thai basil, onions, hot pepper, seasonings , white rice and fried egg. Simple and tasty! The place is small, quiet and clean. Will definitely be back , there's other dishes I'd like to try.

Fantastic place! Probably my favorite Thai restaurant in the area! Too many Thai restaurants in the area serve the same curry dishes. I love that this place goes a different route and focuses on street food, mainly rice and noodle dishes. Service can be a little slow sometimes, but that is forgivable because the people are friendly and the food is fire. I got the Moo Gra Tiem and it was fantastic! The pork slices were tender and flavorful and the rice was generous. But the real kicker was the dipping sauce. That fish sauce and chili dipping sauce took everything to another level with just the right amount of savory and spice! Overall, don't pass on this place! Definitely a hole in a wall that you should visit! :)

The server was friendly. I ordered the Tom yum noodles and it was good but I expected to at least have meatballs in it. The wife had the boat noodles and it was not what we thought it would be.

The rice plates here are pretty good. I had the grilled pork with rice. I give this place 8/10.

Patti's Kitchen has a loyal following of local repeat customers because of their warm, inviting atmosphere and excellent service. If you are looking for your typical Thai menu, there are only a few of those dishes here. At Patti's, you will find a small, but tasty menu of their house favorites, with almost 50% of the menu comprised of bold and flavorful soups that you may have never heard of. Your choice of noodles. The house "e-san" sauce is a secret, order a side of it of you like spicy. There is always a special of the day hand-written on the menu board, and some of the best coconut cake you will ever have in your life in the glass case. Order yourself a Thai Iced tea and explore what they have to offer. I did, and will be back to try more immediately.

My fave coconut cake as always.

The best Thai food in Pinellas. Never disappoints. Love the ambiance. Service was awesome. Thanks Patti's Kitchen. Love your foods. Highly recommend this place.

Heard about this place on the FB group Tampa Bay Asian Foodies and they did not steer me wrong! While not near my home or work, I did have an opportunity to swing by today between an appointment and work. So glad I did! I tried the tew ped toon (duck soup) because I love duck and I love Asian soups. I asked for Thai Hot. So delicious! Nice and spicy. I also got the flower tea. Sweet and cold and just the right accompaniment to something spicy. I will definitely make an effort to make my way over to Pinellas Park again to go here. I believe that awesome dark broth is used in another dish or two as well so I recommend it.

Our food orders: - Tomyum wings. It's a big "YUCK", the wings were fresh, however, not so good on seasoning. They just put some Tomyum spice on the top of the wings and the meat inside was extremely bland. Also, no dipping sauce provided. - Tear tiger salad. We thought it would come with some grilled beef, however, it came out with some kind of stir fried beef. It's an okay dish, but too salty for my taste. - Larb salmon. We also thought it would come with salmon sashimi, however, it came out with fried filet salmon. This one is actually on us because we didn't double check with the waitress. Not the dish we expected, not so impressed. Kao soi duck. The only star of the night. Tasted amazing, we regret that we didn't order 2 kao soi instead. We might come back just to get it. They have mastered both the Thai and Japanese aspects of the menu (obviously in the name but a lot of places are strong in only certain categories). Everything we tried was insane. The Krab Rangoons really stood out to me as those are a dish everyone loves and wants to order at each place and they do theirs spring roll style so you get a bite of everything in every single bite - it's not all in the middle or barely filled. The Thai teas blew us away. We couldn't get enough. The rolls WOWWW was so hard to decide but our server, Kyle hooked it up with the recs. Same with the Thai side of the menu - the fried rice AND the pad kee mao were FIRE. I really wanted to try the curry but will definitely get next time as we could only order/eat so much! PARENTS WEEKEND ADVENTURE!!!…read more Went down to St. Pete/Treasure island for the weekend. Many reviews coming!!! We start with Sawatdee Thai & Sushi!!! We were excited to find a Sushi place a few doors down from where we were starting our weekend with a New Japanese HeadSpa Experience. (Checkout that review as well) We just wanted a quick roll to get something in our stomachs. The interior was nice and clean. It was themed nicely with touches of Asian elements. The Service was great as well. There was no one in the pace as we were there around 1-1:30 on a Friday, but we did see to go orders being picked up. The server was very nice and attentive to us through the meal. The challenge came with the sushi. The rice was hot not cold or room temp. I watched the sushi maker put a thing of rice in the microwave, but I thought that was to replace what she was using to make our sushi, but... NOPE it was for our dishes. It really turned my wife's 2 California rolls and my specialty curry heat = Spicy Salmon roll into the worst sushi we have ever had. The sushi roller needs to realize you should never use warm rice for sushi. We let it sit for a couple minutes to get the rice to be a cooler temp. Then once they were palatable, we ate them. The fish was fresh, but not spicy at all. The roe was such a small portion on the end pieces of the roll. Roe should be spread across all the pieces when it says it's part of the roll. Food to Value ratio: ok. If the rice and citrus heat were as they should have been it would have been a better Value. We paid 40$ with tip for 1 specialty roll and 2 California rolls. I paid less for the same meal at other places around St. Pete. We will most likely hit one of those spots next time, but... AS ALWAYS TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!

I saw online that they have the crispy duck soup & thought I would see if they make the whole duck/on the bone, not just a duck breast. I love the crispy duck but I like it on the bone, they usually give you half a duck so you get a mixture of duck, leg/thigh meat dark & breast meat, the flavors are better with the duck on the bone with the light & dark duck meats. Anyhoo, they didn't have Red Curry Crispy duck on the menu but they were so kind as to make it for me. They told me they make it on the bone, they just cut it off the bone before serving. This sounded reasonable & I have to have my Crispy Duck fix, so Presto! Like magic, soon, a lovely lunch plate of Red Curry Crispy Duck, cut off the bone, was indeed presented to me OuiOui. I was also brought a side salad & crispy veggie egg roll. The salad was super fresh, but I didn't like the dressing. It was way too sweet, pooled into the bottom of the cup. Next time I will ask for no dressing. The egg roll was perfectly cooked, however it was served cold/room temperature. Would have been better served hot or at least warm. I'm very pleased that I have found a crispy duck dish that has light & dark duck meats. Not just a duck breast. The crispy duck here was also cooked beautifully. I asked for it Thai HOT & my nose was running. It was a perfect Thai Hot for Moi OuiOui. I noticed a lot of Door Dash & take out coming & going. Some ladies were chatting while waiting & they were all talking about how good the crispy duck is here OuiOui. Agreed. The Crispy Duck here is very good. I'm so glad they cook the whole duck on the bone, I know for a fact they do bc I got a tiny piece of it on my plate :( I'm not happy I got the tiny piece of bone on my lunch plate, but I'm very happy that you cook the whole duck. It's unfortunate I got a piece of bone, but the dish is delicious. I also loved the artistic way the veggies were cut in the dish, they were cooked perfectly al dente, the rice was also fabulous & the Red Curry was a very lovely Thai HOT. The prices are also very reasonable. To the Chef: Thank you for making me the Red Curry Crispy Duck. It was delicious. I prefer it served whole, on the bone, however, if you're going to serve it cut OFF the bone "boneless" it must be indeed boneless. I had a piece of bone on my plate. (See photos) I hope that you can be more careful with the tiny bones in the future, as I would love to explore the rest of your menu & try the Red Curry Duck again in the future. Will Return to update.

We arrived around 10:15 p.m. on a Friday night, with the restaurant closing at 11:00 p.m. Maybe that contributed to our experience, although several other parties were seated after us, so we weren't the last customers of the evening. We ordered quickly since we already knew what we wanted. My partner ordered the special, I ordered the ramen, and we shared the fried shrimp dumplings as an appetizer. Our server was friendly and attentive, though it was clear the staff was beginning to transition into closing mode. Unfortunately, that affected the atmosphere. While we were still eating, employees were spraying tables and mopping nearby. The smell of cleaning chemicals mixed with our food, which made the dining experience less enjoyable. When my ramen arrived, it looked more like a wonton soup or pho than the ramen I was expecting. I didn't question it because I assumed it might be their interpretation of the dish. However, the broth was quite bland, and the vegetables were still somewhat undercooked. The chicken had no seasoning, it tasted like it was boiled within the broth. After a few bites and sips, I decided not to finish it. My partner seemed to enjoy his meal, though he tends to be pretty easygoing when it comes to food. I didn't try his dish since it was very spicy and that's not really my thing. The restaurant is in a great location on Central Avenue, which makes it a fun area to walk around and people-watch. However, with most dishes priced around $20, I expected a better overall experience and higher quality food. Unfortunately, this isn't a place I would return to.
