Crown Roast of Pork from Patton's. They trimmed this for us on only two hours notice!
    Kurt F.

Simply put, there is no better place for meat in Atlanta than Patton's. Are they cheap? No, but do you want to eat cheap meat? If you want cheap meat go to Kroger; let me know how that works out. When I want to eat a steak at home or serve a Beef Wellington, Patton's is the only place I will shop. And the customer service is out of this world. We had unexpected guest show up from out of town, so I called Parker and asked if he had a Crown Roast of Pork? Normally this would require at LEAST three days notice anywhere else. Patton's? I pick one up TWO HOURS after I called. Get the fuck out'a here! Do yourself a favor and come here. Don't look at the prices; just pick out what you want, hand them your plastic and take it like a man. Trust me, it's worth every penny.

Patton's is amazing! What a great find. I will be a frequent customer. Super helpful and knowledgeable.

This place isn't very big inside so it's pretty much a one way street going through. But they have packed it tight with stuff. The staff are super helpful & friendly. One gentleman helped us pick out steak while we stared around with our mouths open. They also have produce, pickles, sauces, cheese, cured meats, and more. We live out in Sandy springs so it was a trek to come here but worth it. They have a mailing list where they tell you about the specials of the week too. Bacon was only $6-7/lbs today & they had tomahawks but those were a little too pricey for us at $19.99/lbs & one weighed around 3 lbs. So we got a piece of bone in ribeye & a porterhouse steak for a couple dinners this week. It's in a shopping center beside a gas station and the other stores look a bit dilapidated in comparison but Patton's looks renovated outside. Lots of people came through too so you know it's a hot spot!

Wow. 5 out of 5 indeed. Walk in and know you are going to feel welcome, find quality cuts of meets, and be able to piece together whole meals with vegetables and marinades. One stop shop for a special dinner or great grill items. I wish they were closer to my home. I will be driving an hour ever month to stock up.

Worth the drive from college park to come here. Great customer service and selection in meats. $100 worth of meat can last over a month in my freezer for my family of 4. I take advantage of the 5lb deals they have. They also supply a nice selection of seasonings, rubs and marinades to try. I go a little after they open to beat the lines only wait is for fresh cuts which I definitely don't mind waiting on. I'm sure I pass plenty other meat markets on my way here but the A1 service I receive will keep me loyal and returning. Their current hours are 11-6 closed Sunday and Mondays.

Super appreciative of such technology. Parking was plentiful when we got there and we were able to park right next to the patio and front door. The immediate parking lot is kind of small and shared with some other establishments, but there is plenty of other parking in connecting lots around the establishment. So no worries if you don't get as lucky as we do. The hostess was very pleasant and offered either indoor or outdoor seating. It was a rainy day so we opted for inside to be on the safe side (the patio is covered though, so no worries if that's your preference). Our server Nicholas was super polite and helpful. He explained the menu and abbreviations to my party with suffient detail. The food was cooked to perfection and served at the perfect temperature. The sides are considerably smaller than the many times we come before. We came for my husband's birthday and they gave us the brownie with ice cream gratis but we took the coconut cream pie home. Excellent pie! I hope they read this and make a few changes.

Instead we got... vibes? Like, actual nice vibes. The place is sleek, modern, and somehow smells like victory and garlic at the same time. Dangerous combination. Service: 10/10, no notes. We never had to wave anyone down for more banchan, which in KBBQ is basically a miracle on par with parting the Red Sea. Food: Oh honey. * Banchan game: Strong. The kimchi was doing backflips on my tongue, the potato salad was creamy crack, the fried rice cakes were so addictive I considered hiding them in my purse. * Meat quality: Top tier. The pork jowl (samgyeopsal) was so fatty and glorious I briefly considered proposing to it. The "Thrill Prime Ribeye" lives up to the hype -- marbled like a Renaissance painting and basically melts. We also tried the garlic soy marinated galbi and I'm still thinking about it during meetings. Rude. * One tiny gripe: The spicy pork bulgogi could've used another punch of heat. My husband (who thinks black pepper is "wild") loved it, but I wanted it to slap me a little harder. Value: Very solid for the quality. $50ish per person all-you-can-eat and we waddled out feeling like we robbed the place. Pro tip: Pace yourself or you'll hit the meat coma wall around round three and start making bad life choices (see: ordering dessert). Atmosphere: Clean, bright, great ventilation (my hair did not smell like a campfire, which is a first in the history of Korean BBQ). They've got K-pop or the tv playing but not at migraine volume, so you can actually hear your dining companions confess their sins between bites. Verdict: Thrill is dangerously good. Buford finally has a KBBQ spot that can hang with the Atlanta heavyweights, and it's somehow less than 10 minutes from the Mall of Georgia (perfect for post-shopping regret eating). Bring stretchy pants, an empty stomach, and friends who won't judge you when you hit the order your 4 round of meats or drinks. We're already plotting our return. My waistline is filing a formal complaint, but I'm ignoring it.

The doenjang stew and steamed egg come out a bit later, so it's worth pacing yourself to enjoy everything together.
