I came here on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm. It was a beautiful day, sunny and a bit warmer than usual, so when the hostess asked us inside or patio seating, we took the opportunity to enjoy the sun outside on the patio. There were plenty of table and high table seating, as well as a nice large bar. The area we sat had a panel heater right above us, so it was perfect! We ordered a large Favorite deep dish pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, olives. Also we added an extra topping of roasted tomatoes. It took less than 30 minutes for the pizza to be served, we were so pleased because we were starved. The pizza was appetizing, fulfilling, crust is crunchy (I usually hate crust), more cheesy than we imagined, and SOOO good!! We both had two slices each, and the rest to go. But it took TWO more meals for us to finish the rest at home!!! This is such a worthy place to visit for deep dish pizza. You will not be disappointed by any of the Patxi's around the bay area. Oh my gosh, it's my favorite pizza place here. Our waitress was attentive, gave us ranch and parmesan cheese, and packed the left over pizza for us. I can't say more about our experience. read more

tried this pizza place to the first time today for a early dinner. They have inside dining and out used dining. The outside has a full bar which is pretty awesome. We were greeted and sat down. Ordered our pizza first because we were informed that it would take about 30-40 minutes Til we get our food. So we ordered the Special deep dish. And added Black olives and basil. When we got the food, they had probably mixed up the pizza toppings We got the right toppings but the inside was all wrong We had gotten someone's pizza :p it had chicken and pepperoni. We were suppose to have onions, garlic sausage and green peppers. the manager came and apologized and told us they are going to remake the pizza for us correctly and we get to keep the mistaken pizza. Sadly, the pizza we got the first time is better than the one we were originally suppose to get . Oh well !! I'm happy with the service and the food was really good ! We've been here several times since it opened. They have great deep dish pizza and their meatball appetizer is excellent. We live in East Dublin and love that this location is close to our house. The only reason I'm rating it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's not quite as good as Blue Line Pizza in Danville (also deep dish) and the inside of the restaurant is very small. There are only two low 4-top tables (everything else is bar height or a low 2-top) inside. When you have a baby in a highchair and you are a family of 4, you need one of those low table tops and that limits us to just 2 tables inside that will work for us! We usually go for a very early dinner though, in the late afternoon, so that we don't have to wait for 1 of those 2 tables. Otherwise, great restaurant and food, despite being super small inside. Will be nice in summer when we can use the patio but I don't like sitting out there in the winter, even with space heaters. read more

I've been coming to Patxi's pizza for 4 years, my family loves the pizza here and the flavors are amazing, but the rating is so bad today because was my first time at Dublin location and the service was really bad, the host was crazy mean and the waitress just came to our table once: for the order. After that didn't come back even to check on us and how we were doing. I have two kids and I received glass cups and wasn't offered a kids menu. Very Impressed!! Couldn't stop to take a picture of my meal because it was so darn good! They have a delicious and zesty Mixed green salad My boyfriend had the dry rub Wings your way and it was deliciousssssss, usually not a fan of the dry rub but it was evenly distributed. Typically going out i like to try the vegan or veggie options and they had it all vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free!!! I had the classic veggie mhm. I was stuck in the area for business and all my colleagues ditched me for lunch. Lost and alone I stumbled upon Patxi's, and by the beard of Zeus was it a lucky discovery. I was guided on a magically flavor ride by Katie, who convinced me try the Matt Cain Pizza. It was like I was eating the nectar of the gods! She kept it coming by suggesting the Elysian Space Dust, which can only be described at liquid heaven. I still can taste it now as I write this review. I now try to find it whenever my business travels take me. Great food, greater service. Would highly recommend. read more

This place is AMAZING. I love coming to Patxi's for their deep dish pizzas. The crust is my absolute favorite part. It's so flakey and buttery and you can eat it with the honey provided on the table and it tastes just like a dessert. I came here the first time for their practice run and fell in love. The pizza is VERY filling. I can only have 2 slices, 3 if I'm really hungry. But when I finish the third slice, I'm bloated to the point where I have a hard time getting up. The meatball appetizer here is delicious. My friends and I order it every time. BEST. MEATBALL. EVER. DO IT. I promise you won't regret it! The wait staff is also very friendly and consistently come to see if you need anything else or to refill your water. This is probably one of my go to places in Dublin. read more

Patxi's Pizza is some of the best I've had anywhere! The deep-dish style pizzas here are super thick and hearty with some delicious (semi-sweet tasting?) crust covered by the toppings, which are then covered by the cheese, and then finally covered in tomato sauce on the top. Every time I have been here, the pizzas have been consistently delicious and also very filling. My go-to's here are the meatballs to start and the original deep-dish. The meatballs are a great way to start since they give you meatballs that are drowned in that signature Patxi's marinara sauce that is so rich and flavorful. Then the original pizza itself is so packed with toppings and has a flaky and that semi-sweet crust. They even provide honey at all the tables, so you can top off your crust with it when you're finishing your slice. Highly recommend! Overall a really good place for pizza in the Bay Area! read more

Came here Sunday to eat some pizza while watching the Niners game. Sat at the outside bar. The bar is disgusting!! Looks like a run down beach style bar. Covered in spider webs and everything just looks dirty. Ordered the bbq chicken deep dish. Never again. Very watery. Water was dripping off the cardboard they serve it on. The only thing great about this place is their patio. On a 98 degree day, the patio felt about 75 because they have misters all around and it is completely shaded, which was nice! They also have a bunch of TVs playing sports and a full bar, people started crowding in around 5 to settle to watch the warriors playoff game. However, the staff at this place seem like they have no clue as to what is going on. I don't know if they are all new or just not properly trained but something needs to happen so this establishment can get it together. Upon walking in, the host was on his phone and seemed out of it. We were seated on the patio, and I asked about the happy hour specials, they just said they were on the table. So I asked the waitress about the happy hour specials for the drinks, she said it's $2 off for all wine and beer, I asked about the cocktails and she said those weren't included in happy hour which I thought was weird. I had to get the manager's attention and ask him, and he let me know depending on the cocktail they are $2-3 off which made way more sense. I would not have gotten a drink if I did not know that, they really need to train their staff to know about the deals and especially happy hour specials if they want to succeed. All in all, food was ok, there was a hair on my pizza. I would probably go back, but only for the patio. read more

On a rare warm evening we returned to try out the thin crust pizza this time. Seated outside we really enjoyed the ambiance and good service. I wish I'd gotten the name of our server because he was both competent and personable. I enjoyed a glass of wine as we ordered a butter lettuce salad and mushroom pizza. Both were quite good. I've discovered a new guilty pleasure - the ranch dressing that comes on the salad makes an excellent dip for your pizza bones. When served we doubted that we'd eat the whole pizza but there was nothing left for a to-go box at the end of our meal. Woohooo hot new pizza place in town! Satisfied a pizza craving with some thin crust and it hit the spot. We ordered the funghi for our first visit and I'm happy to say I'd do it again. My only gripe: when did thin crust pizza's become $25?!? I get that it's by no means comparable to Domino's but sheesh-at the end of the day we're talking about dough, cheese, and a handful of mushrooms. The menu has lots to choose from (including whole wheat and gluten-free) with a nice drink menu to complement. The honey on the table is meant to dip your leftover crust into. Since they don't have a dessert menu, this is their supplement to satisfying your sweet tooth. The pizzas are super filling so it's not like you'd have room for dessert anyways. The only main problem I have with Patxi's in general is the service. I don't think i've ever had a good experience with the customer service at Patxi's. If you want to come here you definitely need to set aside at least an hour just because of the wait time. They do however have vegan options which is really great because a lot of pizza places don't have that. You can order any of the pizzas with vegan cheese! read more

Patxi's opened earlier in the week and we weren't sure if we should go in or wait 3-4 weeks to give them a chance to work out the kinks of a new restaurant. We decided to come in, and we are so glad we did. We had the Burratta appetizer( my favorite) and the artichoke dip. Both were great. We had a large deep dish with sausage. It was fantastic!! Though I am partial to Zach's, Patxi's Pizza comes a very close second in my list of favorite pies. I usually frequent Patxi's in Lafayette but this new location in Dublin is closer to home so I've eaten here a few times since they opened. As mentioned in other reviews, quality and service is still inconsistent because of the staff's inexperience. First visit, pizza was awesome but service was lacking. Second and third visits, both pizza and service were great. Fourth visit, server totally ignored my table while schmoozing with his friend. Deep dish pizza was the lunch special but didn't match the quality of the bigger pies. I'd really like them to get it right in this location since it would be great to have a Paxti's as a hangout in my neighborhood. I'll wait a few months until the buzz dies down to try again. We had a great experience here. The server was awesome and the pizza was delicious! We ordered a meat lovers deep dish and couldn't eat the whole thing (it's huge!) so we took the remaining slices home. It heated up beautifully at home in the oven the next day. Word of advice? This was my first time trying out Patxi's and it did not disappoint. The sweet bartender named Carolina helped me pick out the best options based on my preferences. Her Moscow Mule was so refreshing, yum I had two. For food, I started off with the burrata bruschetta, fantastic! For my main meal I did the Funghi pizza. I love me some mushrooms! Pizza looked good, but my finacee' and i arrived a half an hour before it closed ( on a saturday night), we waited a good two minutes by the door. No employee offered us a seat, and there were only three couples in the restarant. One of the waiters checked on a couple that was eating five feet away from us. We thought he would seat us, but he just went back to the kitchen. I understand if the kitchen closed early, but at least have someone have the deceny to tell us that the kitchen is closed, or something, instead of us waiting forever. read more

I've eaten at this location several times. I went in to order a deep dish pizza to go. A gentleman took my order and I asked him what his recommendation and he said Matt Cain one. As I looked at the menu that we were both looking at, I decided to go to the barbecue chicken which I told him. Then I left to kill time and decided to go to Whole Foods and shop. When I went back in to pick up my pizza, a girl approached me and I told her what my order was. Apparently, they didn't do my order because I DID NOT GIVE MY NAME. Well heck, I was there, standing next to him so how hard was it to get my name?! It would take another 20 minutes so I said forget it because I didn't have another 20 minutes to waste. *****Since I can't respond to Jay's message below, I decided to edit this review instead of giving multiple 1 star review which would not be fair for the restaurant. You're contradicting your reasons as to why my order was not placed. 1. Your first excuse inside the restaurant: My order was not placed because I did not provide my name. The host never asked for my name after giving my order. 2. Second excuse from Jay's yelp response: There was a misunderstanding on whether or not I decided on my order. Please explain where the confusion was when I said "BBQ chicken, the 25 dollar one" and if there was a misunderstanding, wouldn't the host ask me to clarify any confusion before I left? 3. Third excuse after speaking with the store manager today she stated that they were waiting for me to use the bathroom. Nice one but try again. All 3 excuses does not make sense. Did I storm out or run out quickly after giving my order that you couldn't clarify? No I did not. Instead of continuously implying that it was my wrong doing, an acknowledgement and taking accountability of what transpired was all I needed...a simple apology would have suffice. The food was good for California style Chicago pizza. However, I was not happy with the service. About 3 hours before my party of 4 arrived for our dinner at Patxi's around 7, I called in to see if they make reservations. They declined, but as my party and I arrived for our meal, we asked for a certain, but they said it was RESERVED. Makes no sense to me. We ended up sitting in a cramped table made for two people. We asked to be moved to a new table, and our waiter John said no until we asked another waiter who later told John to say yes. DON'T order a fountain drink or what I ordered a lemonade. I spent $3.50 on a lemonade and had to wait forever (thanks John) for a refill. I almost walked into the kitchen myself. Once a party left, I asked my waiter to move us to that table and fortunately we did. I decided to check in on yelp here and stupidly, gave a good review so I can get free garlic bread. The garlic bread was okay, but I took the piece that was barely baked through. Getting that garlic bread sucked because I couldn't prove I had a code, but I did have the check in part of yelp.
