    Queso & guac

This was delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy and fun. The staff were extremely friendly and kind. Happy hour is 2-6 Wednesday through Friday, so we took advantage of the mini queso & guac + $2.50 tacos. Of course had to get the chicken enchiladas also. We sat at the bar and watched basketball. Might be the new go-to Mexican spot in the neighborhood!

My friend recommended we do lunch here and I'm glad we did! I ordered the burrito carbon with horchata (not pictured). The horchata cup was humongous (sad I forgot to take a picture!). I asked for the green chili on the side as I'm always afraid those sauces will be spicy, but I actually would've been able to handle it on the burrito! The staff were very nice and I would have no problem returning here on another visit to Denver!

Good size house margaritas and food! If you're in the neighborhood and looking for a tasty marg and some food then this is the place for you. Not only is the food good, but the ambiance and staff are awesome!

Gorgeous outdoor patio with Christmas lights and a ton of exposed brick. Our food was phenomenal! Good Mexican in a more upscale setting :)

If you drove on this street you would see it! It's a gem in a neighborhood! The service was great. The food had flavor. The portion size was perfect. Food: I had the ground beef burrito. It was smothered in green sauce and cheese. My spouse had the Michoacán Carnitas tacos. The corn tortillas were fresh and hot! My dad had the menudo and killed it! Lol. He said it was very good. We also had the queso and it was actually good. The service: our server was very quick with refills on the chips and drinks. He was very polite and professional. A great experience. The ambiance: this place felt like it was a cozy home with a family feeling. Not too loud. The World Cup was on. It was a great time. I'd definitely come back when in the area. It had flavor and hit the spot.

Love the spot for many reasons: - Location. Located in LoHi, conveniently located and close to other spots to hang out in the area afterwards if you go there for a weekend dinner - Service: one of the warmest service I've ever experienced, even if you don't speak Spanish. The warmth of the service and the humor make you want to come back and claim it to be your neighborhood spot. - Drink: best margarita I've ever had in Denver, even though there are so many good Mexican restaurants!! do you have to come here to try. - My favorite dish is the shrimp. I've been coming back and ordering it three times in a row. - Sopapillas: I love the sopapilla for dessert. It was fried to a perfectly puffy and crispy texture with sugar on the outside however, it is not overly sweet. It was served with a side of honey, and it was just absolutely delightful. It also looks like a puffy fish. Very cute for the Instagram food porn

Still a great place for tacos and carnitas. It's great to see the original owner is still cooking and running around! I was hoping to get my usual buche tacos, but we were informed that they no longer serve buche as the new population of the very much gentrified neighborhood isn't interested in the popular and traditional Mexican food. I'm hoping my review speaks to the new tenants of the neighborhood in hopes that other things such as menudo doesn't also fall off of the menu. Instead of contributing to the fall of a historically Latinx/Xicano neighborhood, I ask that you please support, uplift, and uphold the traditions (in this case, food) of the area.

I grabbed a seat at the bar where the bartender was friendly and engaging. On a recent Wednesday at 7:15, the restaurant was packed. When I left around 8:30, it was still busy. That's usually the best review a restaurant can get. Loyal customers don't keep coming back out of habit. They come back because it feels like home. The all-day happy hour margarita for $9 certainly doesn't hurt. The second one arrives before you've had time to argue yourself out of it. I ordered the enchiladas with carne asada and their house mole. If you're expecting one of those intensely complex moles with enough ingredients to fill a pantry, this isn't that. Adelitas' version is comforting, approachable, and deeply homey. It tastes less like a culinary experiment and more like something your abuela has been making for decades. The carne asada was tender, the rice and beans were exactly what they should be, and every bite reminded me why comfort food never goes out of style. Before leaving, I made the smartest decision of the evening. Tres leches to go. I devoured it later at home while Netflix asked if I was still watching. The cake somehow manages to be light while completely satisfying. Don't skip it. Better yet, don't pretend you're saving it for tomorrow. Adelitas isn't trying to impress you. It's trying to feed you well, welcome you warmly, and send you home happier than when you arrived. Whether your abuela was Mexican...or Greek...you'll understand exactly what they're serving here.

Seeing their prominent signage out front, one immediately senses the high reputation of this establishment, and it delivers in every single respect. Stepping inside, the venue presents a splendidly authentic Mexican aesthetic, adorned with vibrant cultural accents while maintaining an environment that is pristine and spotlessly clean. Both the exterior presentation and interior arrangement radiate genuine charm and elegance, creating an inviting, lively setting for a weekend meal. The hospitality was top-tier from the moment I crossed the threshold gracious, spirited, and delightfully warm. To begin, I ordered a Spicy Margarita, which was an absolute masterpiece! Mixed to sheer perfection, it offered a brilliant, fiery kick that served as the ultimate weekend refreshment. For my main course, I selected the Fajita Burrito, generously smothered in their signature Green Chili sauce. When it arrived, it proved to be a magnificent culinary triumph rich, deeply flavorful, and executed with superb, authentic skill. Between the immaculate cleanliness, lively decor, impeccable service, and unforgettable flavors, D'Corazon earns absolute full marks from me. We ordered the chips and salsa trio to start, quesabirria, chicken and steak fajitas with corn equites and rice/beans as a side, and lastly the carnitas. Personally I got the carnitas and was shocked at the portion! The presentation was beautiful and overall it was quite tasty. The hard part with this meal was that the black bean puree was underneath all the meat and au jus so it was a bit challenging to scoop up and put in the tacos. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we were pretty stuffed that we couldn't make it to dessert.
