This place needs a deep cleaning! There is a layer of dust caked on the light shelves near the ceiling as well as other places around the workstations. The pedicure chairs are mostly broken and just dirty. Ewww To the owners - please, please clean up. Your techs are great. read more

My friend and I had an incredible experience here last week. But I'm not talking about the manicure. As they were finishing up my nails and getting ready to close, a full-on FIGHT broke out between two of the nail technicians! They were screaming at each other and one of them threw something at the other one! My friend and I were like "Is this really happening??" It's okay. I've gotten pedicures no problem but came in for my first manicure and it's just not like the picture I showed them. Might ask them to remove them because I just really don't like them overall. Pic with red dress in the background is what I got and pic with black background is what I wanted. Update!!! They did them fix so I'm very happy they took the time to fix them because I've never asked anyone to fix my nails so it was awkward for me to ask but they were nice about it. This business does not care about retaining customers or making things right. So here's the story; I came in for a simple pedicure, manicure, and eyebrow wax. I have very little free time so I feel fortunate to be able to do this. I asked the guy at front desk so your technicians have time for all of the above. He said give a us a few, understandably I waited. I was shown to a nice pedicure chair and the same nail tech as before did my toe nails. As she was rushing the job I wondered what was going on, she didn't ask what kind of pedicure I wanted that is on the menu. She just did her own thing, Seemed like an express pedicure. At this point I'm ready for my manicure because I so badly need one. Not a chance she went over to help this other customer with the pedicure as another tech did the manicure. I kindly asked so I take it no manicure, she looked at me oh you want manicure too. I said I explained that when I arrived at salon to two different men what I needed. They told me to wait for an unknown amount of time with little communication . The original tech left to do another pedicure. I was very frustrated got up paid my bill and left a tip because she completed the pedi. I've been going here for years and I'm done. It's a shame nice place, same employees but I sure wouldn't screw over people the way they did. I'm in the serve and protect service industry and also have my own business. Make it right! I've been coming to this salon for 14 yrs now, I've tried others but no one can compare to the friendly service and cleanliness of the salon. Do not go to this place! These people are extremely unprofessional, they cannot hold an appointment and they dont even apologize for it. Most of them dont speak any English but they loooove a dollar, I'll tell you that. They will start you with one price and two appointments later they will ask $20 more for the same thing. Love this place! No matter who does your nails, it'll come out looking great. I usually go with Hannah but when she's busy (which is most of the time), Heidi (or Jenny) is a master in ombré and long acrylic nails if you're looking for that. Kenny is great with SNS and Holly is soo good with pedicures. I've been coming for 4 years and they have never failed me. Had the shellac gel manicure for the first time, it was great! Cindy was so sweet and friendly, she did great job! The only thing that I wasn't comfortable, they were a bit pushy. ............................................................... Updated 3/14/17, I had another manicure with Pam this time since my girl Cindy was off that day. I had my nails cleaned from the previous gel manicure (they charge extra $5) which is fine. Pam tried really hard to convinced me to have another gel manicure and I wasn't interested, but she kept bugging me ( it was annoying). Pam didn't do a good with manicuring my nails ( on the next day the nail polish peeled off already). Four stars because the place was accommodating for a walk in and very professional, clean etc. My pedicure turned out beautiful. Down a star for not letting me know they only accept CASH tip. At check out I asked if I could tip on my card and they said no but if I had Venmo or zelle I could tip directly. All of a sudden no one working there had Venmo. They asked if I would walk across the parking lot to the bank to get cash to tip. Not a problem, but I do not bank at the bank provided at Safeway. Why offer to tip Venmo if you don't have it?! Unfortunately my tech only got a two dollar tip because that's all I had on me. Promised I'd be back, but after hearing it's a common dilemma with guests sounds like it's not my problem. I have been gong to this salon off and in for several years. I always make an appointment with Cindy - she does an excellent job! I'm the type of person that once I have someone great I won't risk it with anyone else. I'm also fairly particular. I always get a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I told him that it was my first experience and I got a cut on my feet! He was in shocked when he saw the cut and never seen that before. The technician lady said "I am sorry." Upon payment I mention to the gentleman in front handling the cashier; that I got a big cut when receiving my Pedicure treatment and the lady technician (I believe her name is Veena) didn't admit the fault instead went on by saying my callus was on the side of my cut. She never Owned up to her mistake. If she had owned up to her mistake in front of her "boss" I would have NEVER written this review. Split a nail while visiting a friend, walked-in to get it repaired, was greeted warmly, and liked the cleanliness of the salon. Hannah was my manicurist. Very disappointed in my experience today! My manicure is lovely but the technician was simply beyond rude. I understand that many of these salons have technicians who do not have a good command of the language... that is ok. I don't go there to be chatty but be a bit friendly. Even with a mask on, you can see a smile with their eyes. I have been going to Jennie for months. I am always on time and always give more than a 20% tip. Today I asked if I could use the restroom before she went to the next step and the look she gave me was shocking! The customers sitting in the stations next to her gave me a look like they couldn't believe her. What is wrong with this picture? $45.00 for a SNS dip with a $10.00 tip? $55.00 for poor service.
