Had a delicious breakfast yesterday at Paul's Country Kitchen aka Two Sister's Cafe. We even had leftovers to eat this morning! We've lived in this area since 1988 and never knew about this cafe. Super disappointed with their food . Not worth the hype . Also the waiter was not attentive at all took a while to ask us if we needed anything . I asked for a water cup and the cup was stained and also the spoons were stained . I don't think they're aware of that . Went here for breakfast after being on my must try places for awhile. Not impressed at all. Place is crowded, which is usually a good sign of great food. Didn't mind waiting for a table, if the food was great. The place was cute on the inside, seemed like a small town cafe. The outdoor "patio" is on the sidewalk and parking lot. Seemed like a nice setting they had for Covid that they continued to use. We sat in a booth with full view of the kitchen. We noticed all the servers/staff seemed unhappy. None of them smiled once while working. Not sure but they all seemed irritated to be there? Not very friendly at all during the service. It was hot inside there, like they had no air conditioning. So if it's hot for the patrons, imagine how hot it is to work in that environment. I would be miserable too. We ordered the country fried steak, eggs over medium, and country potatoes. With an English muffin for a side. I was excited about the gravy from the pictures and reviews. The gravy tasted like it was from a seasoning packet, and had an aftertaste. The steak itself, had an aftertaste as well, also was a little burned on one side. The eggs were cooked good. The country potatoes were so bland, just seemed like baked potatoes diced up. I was expecting more flavor, maybe some salt or pepper at the least. Food was very bland. Water also tasted like straight from the faucet, I believe they need a filter change. The only decent thing on the plate was the English muffin and eggs. Was very disappointed, and we will not be returning. read more

I don't normally do reviews but my experience as a first time customer here was just bizarre to me... I must say the food was pretty good but the service and Unfriendliness of the staff there was little to be desired!! I was scared to ask for the extras I needed so I went without as our server seemed so annoyed and bothered by my requests??? She checked on us one time finally when we were almost done eating...she laid our check down without saying a word so we sat and waited and waited and waited only to realize after watching another guest go up front to pay. It would have been nice if our server informed us of the process!!! Take the country out of your name in from the south so I'm a country girl and we are known for hospitality and charm NONE of which you get at this very unfriendly "country" establishment!! Garrett was our server....a great smile...real hussle to get us seated, served and keep our coffee cups filled.....Garrett went the extra mile with his concern for our experience to make sure it was the best. This place is nostalgic in cities I enjoy the atmosphere immensely. Menu is simple and they serve breakfast and lunch Tina was so awsoom. I got carried away and ordered the build your omelet. Did not realize the 20 dollars breakfast and giant cinnamon rolls for 7 but I enjoyed it what the heck. It has nice patio and table and chairs people can sit outside with pets very inviting little place cities should encourage this type of business more and keep their stupid regulations away I heard this place has very beautiful patio which city has made them take down. In town from the east coast and my brother who lives here recommended it & took me there this morning. Great location and menu looked tasty going in. I ordered the build your own omelet and the way that the new menu is worded and designed led to a not-so-great situation when we got the bill. Omelets are listed as $9 and below that script are the ingredients that you can choose. The verbiage has multiple items for proteins, cheeses and vegetables. Meats 3 each Sausage Ham Bacon Canadian Bacon Cheeses 1 each Swiss American Cheddar Vegetables 1 each Mushrooms Onion Tomato etc. As one would normally think as we did, the 'each' appear to be guiding you that you pick three from the meats, one cheese and one vegetable for your omelet. In reality though, despite not having any $ signs on the numbers listed above, it's annoying that someone didn't take the time to proofread the menu to leave out any ambiguity on what the prices actually were given the ingredients offered. I get that inflation has driven up prices in restaurants, but I could have picked an egg-scramble for $15 with the same ingredients and paid $5 less on the total check. The only other last impression we were left with was bringing it up to the manager on duty. She told my brother that the numbers were prices each and then gave a cue-card apology and let the bill remain as is. I won't be back as I live on the east coast. This place has such great comfort country style breakfast. You can't go wrong with ordering anything here. It's an older looking restaurant but it's comforting and a popular local breakfast spot. Eggs are cracked in the morning and separated yolks from whites so if you order scrambled eggs, it's just scrambled yolks. Yuck. Steak was just average. Stopped for breakfast here after a Yelp review. Food was exceptional as was the service. I had the Debbie's Breakfast with French Toast , bacon and 1 egg. The syrup is kept warm so your toast doesn't get cold. Hubby had a skillet breakfast and he ate every bite. Great place...friendly and family owned. read more

The french toast was ok, nothing particularly good or bad about it but the eggs were overcooked and the sausage was cold. BREAKFAST!!! This is a breakfast restaurant. Although they serve lunch, you really want to go here for breakfast. We had the chicken fried steak, chili, and French dip sandwich. The chicken fried steak breakfast plate was the best out of all food items that we ordered. The chicken fried steak batter had the perfect consistency. It was not hard, but it had a nice light crunch. The chili was OK. The French dip sandwich meat was dry. It was a light windy day, and we had to eat in the parking lot because of covid. The outside umbrellas do not have good bases, and the umbrella tipped over and hit us. So watch out for the umbrellas Pros: good breakfast food Cons: only order breakfast food. Glad this place opened as early as 6am. Super friendly staff. The place really does have a "country" feel like a diner you stopped by on a road trip and they even okay country music! Their menu covered all the basic breakfast items and I love how they can do half orders should you be conscious of portions. We didn't know what we wanted so we did everything a la carts and got everything we wanted! I love how I can just order 1 slice of French toast. A bowl of oatmeal.
