    Greek Quiche with fruit.

Headed down to Cheshire to do some errands. 1st stop - breakfast. Paul's is a solid 4. Parking is in the rear, so that when we saw the restaurant from the street with no cars, it was a bit of a concern. However, around back - a full parking lot. There looked to be a few tables with umbrellas outside too. Inside, it was nice and comfortable. Looked like a place that large local groups gather too. The food was really good. I had something on the special menu - Greek Quiche made with feta, spinach, tomato & pepper. A side of fresh fruit came with it. My husband had his usual western omelette which he enjoyed. So - a nice, unexpected find.

My first time at Paul's Restaurant and it had everything I look for in a diner. They sever breakfast and lunch and have a large menu with specials. My bacon cheese omelette came packed with bacon and cheese. The home fries were one of the best I ever had. Well seasoned and crispy. The coffee came in a large mug not the small diner cup, and refills came without asking. Food came out quickly and hot. The restaurant was immaculate. Great service and the prices were very reasonable.

I went here for the first time on a very busy morning. We were sitting for approximately 5 minutes before the waitress came over to take our order and we hadn't even opened our menus yet. She proceeded to come over every 3 minutes until we finally felt pressured to order. I'm not sure if this is the normal way they do things or if it was just a busy day and they were trying to get people in and out. I would consider this a typical diner. They serve breakfast all day and many other lunch options also. My friends ordered a typical breakfast. Nothing spectacular but a good filling meal, but sadly the eggs were cold. I ordered a wrap with fries. The wrap was decent but the fries were undercooked. This restaurant is always busy so I'm not sure if it was just an off day or limited options in the neighborhood. On a positive note, they offered tons of options to choose from.

Decent diner to stop by for lunch. We were in town and came by on a Friday. It was pretty busy. I got the Mexican burger, and hubby got the Italian chicken panini. They were very filling and just what we needed for the day.

Enjoyed the Mexican eggs Benedict special. English muffins topped with avocado slices, chorizo, pico de gallo, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. The pico was extra lemony which was a nice compliment to the spice of the chorizo. Food was served quick and service was fast and friendly.

First timer. Great service. Lots of parking. Sign was hard to see from the road. I went with a standard breakfast, 2 eggs over hard, Sourdough toast, home fries with onions and a cup of coffee. Price without tax was $8.35. $11.00 out the door after tip. Kind of pricey. Picture below:

Another restaurant going through the motions. Food lacks passion and taste. Frozen food is like that.

The service wasn't awful. The pancakes were bad though, the eggs and bacon were okay so was the sausage. But I wouldn't go there again.

After reading all of the reviews about the corned beef hash, I have to say I was totally disappointed. There is no way that this is house made. I love corned beef hash, and I make it frequently. This was definitely canned and so full of onion flakes that you couldn't really taste anything else. And it looked like it was prepared in a food processor. I would return because of the hospitality, but I definitely wouldn't order that again

The service was friendly and knowledgeable, and the diner gives a classic diner feel. There's plenty of food options for all times of the day, but it was breakfast time, so we ordered breakfast. Almost everything can be made gluten free, which is great. My husband ordered the Irish Benedict which was corned beef hash with eggs and hollandaise on toast with potatoes. I had an egg sandwich with bacon. It's classic diner fare. Large portions, and tasty food. Unfortunately, the issue comes at the price point. For standard diner fare, most breakfast items are $19. Plus a $2 up charge for gluten free. Our breakfast with coffee and a juice came out to $50 with tip. Seems a little steep for what we got. If you want standard diner food at a premium, colony diner is great!

Let me tell you, every time I passed this place, I was missing out. This breakfast spot brings me back to the good ole days when my grandparents and I would get breakfast together - this place is comforting and is the perfect disconnect from this crazy world. I ordered the 2x2x2 Meal, I chose Over Medium Eggs with Pork Bacon, delicious. I ended up upgrading from French Toast to Texas-Style French Toast. I 'd recommend to stick with their OG style French Toast. Considering the bread I upgraded to being a thicker style, it seems like they did not dip the bread long enough in the mix since the middle was very dry. It felt welcoming and overall I enjoyed my experience!
