He was super condescending and not helpful in any way, acting as though he had more important things to be doing and I was taking up his valuable time. I bought a vehicle from paulsons for an agreed upon price. They told me this would be my price minus tax and licensing. My total price came out 500 dollars over what they told me. When looking at my sales printout receipt there is a random 150 dollar fee? Seems like someone added their own cut into my purchase? The taxes and licensing were on receipt separate from the random 150 fee. Less than a week later vehicle is having electrical issues and isn't running. Thank you for the help and for telling me my price would be less than you decided you would charge. Service writer Jeff is extremely rude, unprofessional and standoffish. They would sell you a used bandaid if they could. They have all kinds of off brand machines that are less than quality and that they don't stand behind. Benche side by sides and 4 wheelers that pop out of gear, Kayo's that foul spark plugs and won't start. Ssr that have all kinds of problems with carburetors. Anything to make a buck. Prices are expensive and usually much more than listed or advertised after they add all of their fees. I am not pleased with my experience buying from Paulsons. Very unprofessional. read more

Brought my Mule in because it was missing badly at high RPM/full throttle, the fuel filter had never been changed, so I assumed fuel delivery. When missing, would blow white smoke. Has never done this before, ever. I couldnt figure it out, time for a professional. So took it there, explained the issue, They said a full service would likely fix it. So almost 1k$ later, I go to pick it up. Replaced the fuel filter (and it was skanky), they told me my motor mounts were rusted out (they werent, one bolt was missing, the other 1/2 in there) I figured I'll look at the mounts later. So taking it to trailer, full throttle its blowing white smoke and missing. I come back. Service manager tells me thats normal, and its a diesel, and theres a RPM limiter. Whut? So I get it home and give it the Italian tune up, which is full throttle, gets white smoke and some missing, then clears out. Sure RPM limiter and normal white smoke huh? A noted above, its never done this until recently, and I've had it several years of use around the farm. Drained the fuel, fuel looks good. Got a bottle of techroline for cleaning the injectors. Now it works great, and cost me 30$. adios folks, dont BS a backyard mechanic and home machinist. read more

I have reached out to the service dependent several times requesting service on my ninja, and they refused to even respond to a new customer looking to get work done. I am shocked that they so blatantly just ignore new customers willing to spend their money at their store. I am not a customer of Paulson's, but felt that this review has it's merits. My wife and I had to unexpectedly move from Tacoma back to Chicago due to a family emergency. We only had 4 weeks to sell our Tacoma house, find new housing in Chicago, hire movers, pack and all the rest of the madness that comes with moving 2200 miles across the country. My BMW R1200 GSA was stored in a family member's garage in Olympia. In a perfect world, I would have loved to fly back out to the PNW and ride it home to Chicago, but there is no way that real life was going to allow that anytime soon. With time running out, I made the difficult decision to have the bike shipped using Haulbikes.com. The only problem was that they couldn't schedule the pick-up before I left town. Additionally, it would be almost impossible for their truck to make it down the small residential street where the bike was stored. In desperation I reached out to Paulson's and Chris Paulson offered to hold the bike for me at the dealership until it could be picked up by the shipper. He didn't ask me for a dime. Just a pure gesture of kindness to me, a complete stranger who is not even a customer. Want to know how you stay in business for over 100 years? That's how. They held the bike for me until I could get there and complete my purchase. I had attempted the same thing with Larson's when I bought my 2 Sparks. They said they would hold them for me until I got off work in 3 hours. I called back on my way to their shop and they had sold 1 of the Sparks. I purchased a used CanAm Spyder from Paulson's in 2018, the sales was easy, purchase was great. It had an issue with the vacuum hoses and they came out, picked it up, repaired it with no charge to me. A month or so ago I had a friend come into town on her Spyder and it was having issues. I recommended she see Paulson's before leaving town. Though it was late in the day, they took her in, diagnosed the issue, told her she was good to go and didn't even charge her a service fee. Don't let the low rating deter you from a fun shopping experience. The folks here are great, however, they sell over priced machines and do not negotiate more than $500 off the top even though they show proof they are charging upwards of $2000+ more on some machines (recent visit anyway). If you want to pay more for less of a bike ... feel free to go here, there are better places locally that are more honest and willing to negotiate realistic prices. The staff is awesome, though. Granted they can't seem to sell the gold Speed Triple that has been there for 4 years now and claim it is a "fun" bike. With 20,000 miles on it and trying to sell it for 8,999 ... proof of overpricing. You'd think a place that claims they want to move product and is the "best" Kawasaki dealer in the Northwest would have moved this bike already. Not the bike I was looking at ... Paulson's acts like they own the street. Customers constantly loading and unloading equipment on Gold Club Rd and blocking traffic on a double yellow section of road. Dangerous and very annoying. They also use street parking to store their shipments and inventory, and leave a huge ugly mess when breaking down crates. Customers often loudly ride around the neighboring areas with obnoxiously loud vehicles to test drive with no consideration to the people and businesses nearby, often cutting through parking lots. Clearly Paulson's has no regard for the community in which they reside. read more

Full of crap. Our saleswoman was great, but it stopped there. Was told bike was completely inspected and serviced, not even close. First, they said the bike needed a rear wheel bearing and no shop around anywhere had the part and they called every Harley shop around, well, I called the local Harley shop and they had 9 in stock so I had to go get it because either their service folks were inept, or lied to me. Then, get the bike home, realized in garage that bike had no brake lights! That's safe right??? Then, the ole check engine light came on. So took it to Harley shop where it sat for them to tell me the bike has zero brake pads in rear, a warped brake rotor, both Brake light switches were broken, the bike has 11 check engine codes and that there is absolutely no way that they would have sold that bike in its condition and there was no way that anyone qualified inspected the bike. I get buying a used bike can be a "As is" situation and that's fine, but would also like to trust a local small business when they say "Serviced and inspected" and that clearly was not the case. So again, either the service folks have zero idea what they are doing, or they are absolute liars... Either way, I will not buy anything else from them again and will do my best to ensure no one I know does either. When another dealer tells you that the bike is not safe to ride and should have never been sold,it makes you a tad upset. Then! On top of it all, 3 days before temp plates expire, I have to call and ask them repeatedly about the plate just to find out that it hadn't even been submitted yet due to some "conflict of paperwork" with previous owner. These folks will have to do some serious correction for me to ever spend another single dollar in their shop. Kinda stinks because they're so close to the house and it's about time for my son to get his dirt bike. read more

As far as selection goes, Paulsons was the only place that had what i was looking for and at a price point that was extremely fair. As far as service, cant beat it. The prices were fair, we had compared prices for the same bike at 3 different dealers in the Seattle-Tacoma area, and found their prices to be very competitive. Pardon my lateness. I bought a 2010 leftover in 2011. It is a Kawasaki Z1000. It got voted 2010 Naked Bike of the year, Needless to say Paulson's had a sale for 8000. Or 8999? It's been 7 years. This motorcycle beat out a Ducati for that year in a motorcycle guide review.. So I now have over 31000 miles and have yet to even give it a tune-up. It is so reliable. I do change the oil every 4000-6000 miles. Bonus- At the time there was a manager that like me has been riding motorcycles since he was a kid. He told me he breaks the law every day riding with high beams on during the day. So I have been riding with high beams on my motorcycle every day for the past 7 years. I think it has saved me a few times from demolition with vehicles. I have seen negative reviews, just do your research on the motorcycle before you come here. I purchased a can am spyder from CHRIS and CANDI at Paulson's 2 years ago. I received excellent customer service from chris and the sales team. CANDI also followed through with a warranty for me. I purchased from them because they gave me a great price and were very knowledgeable as well as treated me with respect and care unlike the 2 dealerships close to me up north (do not waste your time with I-90 or Ride Motorsports both dealerships are just worried about making the sale). Fast forward year and half later I am running into some issues and bring it to one of the above mentioned dealerships and it seems they made no attempts to fix it and somehow managed to damage it further. So when I got it back I brought down to paulson's (which I will continue to do In The future) to which BRAD, TYLER and JEFF took their time to fix and make it right with me! Scheduled for a tire replacement and an oil change this morning. I asked clearly how long this would take and I was told 30 to 40 minutes. I brought my bike in at 10am and they did not finish until 12:20pm. I was late for work and lost money!
