My favorite neighborhood food market! Love it, so convenient. Maybe a bit more expensive than making the trek to a larger chain. Excellent staff - all so friendly. And you always meet interesting people in the parking lot. LOL. Minus one star for the public restrooms. Sorry Pavilions!

Pricey but best place to purchase fresh fruit. I would worry about the avocado spread they put on sandwiches, it taste awful.

I made the mistake of actually trying to grocery shop at this place - meanwhile, I was getting in the way of several influencers trying to film content here. I went to take a look at the juice wall, and while I was trying to make a selection I heard a loud sigh behind me of girls dressed up holding their cameras and ring lights waiting for me to be done and move. I went to grab a cookie at the same time another influencer was doing a "POV" shot, he also sighed and waited for me to make my selection before going for a second take. Everything is wildly expensive, but the few things I did sample here were good. I grabbed a cold pressed juice from here that was fantastic and fresh, along with the banana cream pie which was delicious. I was shocked to learn it was vegan. I'm glad I went to say that I went, but if you're coming here make sure you know the rules of Erewhon (which are basically to look around and make sure no one is filming before you reach for a product on a shelf).

I tried one of their smoothies, and it was good. You could definitely taste that it was healthy, but I probably wouldn't order it again because of the price. It was about $25 for one smoothie, and the wait for my order took a while. They definitely have a lot of food options, but as expected, everything is pretty pricey lol. I also tried their sushi, which was fresh and had good-sized pieces. Overall, Erewhon does offer a lot of quality food options, but the prices are still pretty high for what you're getting. For me, Erewhon is a one time visit.

I spend a significant amount on groceries every week, often $700-$1,500 or more, because I trusted Whole Foods for quality and service. Unfortunately, my recent experience at the Beverly Hills location was extremely disappointing and upsetting. I parked in the Whole Foods parking lot, went inside, did my shopping, and kept my receipt. After shopping, I sat outside in the Whole Foods/building seating area for about 10 minutes to enjoy the watermelon I had just purchased. I did not leave the property or go anywhere else. When I came back, the parking attendant started arguing with me and told me they had marked my car and could tow it. I explained that I was a Whole Foods customer, showed my receipt, and told him I was only outside for a few minutes enjoying food I purchased from the store. He still told me that next time I cannot park there after shopping and sit outside, and that I should move my car. This is not how loyal customers should be treated. If a customer buys food from Whole Foods and sits outside in the seating area for 10 minutes to eat it, they should not be threatened with towing. I felt unwelcome and disrespected. Because of this experience, I will no longer shop at this Whole Foods location. I will choose another store where customers are treated with respect and kindness. I will also share this experience with my friends and family so they know what happened. Very disappointing customer service and parking management.

I called around 4 PM to place a cookie order and spoke with Ashley. I was immediately told that all cookie orders require 48-hour notice--without being asked how many cookies I needed or any details about the order. I even clarified that I was only looking for one dozen original cookies and one dozen milk chocolate, and she reiterated that all cookie orders require 48-hour notice. What was most frustrating wasn't even the policy--it was the lack of basic customer service. There were no follow-up questions, no attempt to offer alternatives, and no effort to see if anything could be accommodated for the next day. The conversation felt very one-sided and dismissive. I've ordered from other Bristol Farms locations throughout Southern California and have not encountered such a rigid, across-the-board policy, which made this experience even more surprising. I ended up placing the order elsewhere, and my group was very happy with that decision for several reasons, including the overall service experience. At a minimum, I would expect staff to: * Ask a few clarifying questions before declining a request * Offer alternatives or solutions when possible * Communicate policies in a more customer-friendly way Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've experienced slow or inconsistent service at this particular counter, which makes it harder to rely on. I would also be interested to understand what measures are in place to ensure team members are trained and supported to deliver a customer-focused experience that helps grow the business, rather than turning away reasonable requests.

The store is often crowded, but it is very organized and the staff is friendly. The ambiance is vibrant and they have a great selection of produce & snacks. Their drinks are simply delicious and very refreshing. My favorite is the iconic Hailey Bieber smoothie!

If a trip to Whole Foods earns them the nickname "Whole Paycheck", Erewhon will probably cost you your monthly rent. And yet, like a moth to a flame, I couldn't help but make a trip here to check out their wildly popular (and expensive) smoothies! Wandering through the aisles, Erewhon has all of the basics you would expect to find at a market, but a lot of the brands they carry aren't the typical mainstream ones you'll find at most other supermarkets. In a sense, they're like the Whole Foods of Whole Foods, as they almost exclusively feature premium/luxury brands that position themselves as being more "health focused". While that sort of claim can be relative (e.g. lower calories, but higher sodium), there's no question that the quality of their fresh produce, meats, and seafood definitely looked pretty legit, with a lot of products that are organic, free-range, cage-free, hormone-free, etc. As for the aforementioned smoothies that so many folks both praise and complain about, they're made fresh to order from their tonic bar that sits in the middle store - easy to find, but inconvenient to navigate past. With over a dozen different pre-set flavors/combinations to choose from, along with the option to customize and/or create your own, the menu has so much to offer. What's more, if you aren't in the mood for one of their smoothies, they also have freshly pressed juices, coffees, and teas. Even though their Strawberry Glaze Smoothie is easily their most popular smoothie (and best, according to Hailey Bieber), we opted to try their MALIBU MANGO SMOOTHIE ($21) instead. Based purely on taste, this actually wasn't too shabby - It had a nice punch of mango flavor and the consistency was smooth with just the right thickness to it. Plus, I liked how creamy both the texture and taste was and how it wasn't overly sweet. That being said, after tax/tip, did it taste $28 good? No. Although there wasn't anything inherently "bad" with this, it didn't taste all that different from the one I can get by my place in SF that costs me less than half as much. Despite how expensive the smoothie was, which at least I was already prepared for, the thing that really took us by surprise was how long it took for it to be made. Granted, this location might be an outlier, as its proximity to The Grove probably contributes to the number of people that were here, but I never would've guessed we'd have to wait almost half an hour for our order. Since I don't live anywhere near an Erewhon, I can't say if/when I would come back, but I certainly wouldn't entirely rule it out, as I liked the smoothie we got and I'm genuinely curious about the Strawberry Glaze one as well as some of their prepared foods. However, for how much it would set me back, it'll probably have to come after the next time I get a bonus or a raise so I can feel a little better about the splurge. Four stars for taste and the quality of what Erewhon has, but two stars, at best, for value, so three it is.
