We always take our dogs here for the 2 dog special. Prices went up a bit but one dog is normal price and the second is 30% off. They charge a little extra if your dog has matte hair. We also get their teeth brushed. We've never had a problem, even with the dogs being a bit anxious. The owner is super sweet and friendly. My babies always come out looking like puppies again! I've taken my Yorkie here every few months since December. Not the best place but it has been convenient. Last time I took him there they cut his hair so short he looks like a chihuahua but again, it's convenient. I have been coming here for the past few years, never a problem. I have a Cavalier and always requested a scissor cut. Never a problem and he always looked great! Unfortunately under the management, I made the same request. He was butchered. They did not listen to anything I asked for him. Not to mention the attitude we received when we picked him up. My dog was there all day, my husband called after nearly 6 hours, and they said no hes not ready. This was around 4:30'clock. Took our 8 month old puppy to get a bath at Paw House. We didn't have much time this month to give Muffin a bath so we decided to try this service out. Pick up and drop off was quick but the parking lot could get pretty busy during weekends because of the swap-meet nearby. Friendly lady greeted us and took our puppy first thing on a Saturday morning. When we picked up our puppy, she looked really clean and smelled great. We could never get her to smell this good or look this fluffy. Will be taking her for a bath here every month. Very satisfied with the service. Her nails looked great. After being told to wait for a whole week at lovely s, my wife was very determined to have our foster Saint Bernard Cinderella washed and trimmed of a year of matted hair. Not to mention the yellow stains on her white coat. Being a Saint Bernard we where expecting to pay a lot more for bringing in a dog that was found running the streets with matted hair the size of quarters. After calling around and asking for a same day appointments for two Saints the manager was more than willing to accommodate both of our dogs. They did a great job! Nice soft white coat and timely service. Our foster Saint no longer had to wait a week until someone would book an appointment, didn't have to wait a week with long yellow matted dirty fur (it's June!) All at a reasonable price!!! This place is small and cute and the staff is super sweet with your pet. I've gone here several times over the years to get my toy poodle groomed. She always comes back looking and smelling just as good as if I had taken her to a chain like Petco or Petsmart. The holding kennels are right out in the open so you can see that it's clean and nothing to hide. The prices are super clear right at the front desk and are based on weight of your pet. It was $45 to get my senior toy poodle groomed... the same grooming package at one of the chain stores like petsmart or Petco always comes out to $60+. She never comes back to me looking stressed or anything. I trust these people. I brought her in on a Tuesday @1pm & they called me to pick her up at 3pm. Will not be returning here. They did a decent job in grooming my fur baby however the attitude I received upon pick up was not something I'd expect. I get it that my fur baby is scared of anything and everything. He has been adopted from a shelter during Covid so he really hasn't been around people much, plus who knows what his story is? BUT this is why they are the professionals no? Well, when I returned to pick up my baby, the lady who seemed like the owner couldn't stop repeating how hard he was to groom, how hard of a time they had and how they needed 2 people to groom him. I have been bringing my dog here for 2 years. Then all of a sudden they started charging me an extra 7 bucks because they said my dog moves around a lot. I was fine with that cause I know my dog gets anxiety when he's at the groomers. But if I'm paying extra because my dog doesn't stay still you should be able to handle him. THIS TIME , when I went to pick up my dog he was shaking and crying. He didn't eat for 3 days he was crying and whining non stop for almost a week. His hair cut was horrible, long hair still at the bottom of his paws. I don't know what they did to him but I know I am never bringing him back. I have been here a few times but I won't be returning ever after what my dog just experienced. She's barely 2 years old and is a smaller dog. Maltese, shitzu, yorkie combination. She's very soft and weighs under 10lbs. I asked if she could be shaved. When I came to pick her up, she had cuts all over her stomach and legs. The employee said they wouldn't charge me and told me "her skin moves a lot". I left so upset and sad for my little girl. She was so scared and traumatized for hours. I looked closely at her body and noticed her vaginal area was scratched and swollen. Her anal area was also inflamed and scratched. She has two large cuts that was open and bloody. Seriously, I don't even know what to think. How does something like this possibly happen? Obviously these groomers do not care about your pets comfort and rather rush through to finish the job. I took my long hair dog in today for a bath and trim. I asked that they only trim off 1" (her hair is 4" - 5") I requested them NOT to trim her ears or tail. I'm so sad I had a bad experience here. I've been taking my two older cats here for about 3 years. Last month I brought our new baby for his first ever grooming appointment. What's great about this place is they're open on Sundays and its easy to schedule last minute appointments. Anyway, here's what happened. one cat was in the cages along the wall. he was fine. The baby was in the carrier when I picked him up; so I couldn't really see him. The girl at the counter told me he was still damp because he didn't like the dryer and she didn't want to traumatize him for his first visit, which I thought was great. After I brought him home and took him out of his carrier, I noticed his paw was bleeding. They cut one of his nails too short it almostcompletely broke off. poor thing must have been in so much pain, like having a toe nail ripped off. I don't think I'd be so upset, had they told me "oops, we're sorry" but not a word. Paw House is reasonably priced. For a medium size dog the price is $50 (including tip). They're really friendly and take good care of our Oliver. The shop is located on Lincoln & Walker. Parking's in the back but there's a back door that is easily accessible. The lady who's there to groom the dogs has an accent so its a bit hard to understand her if you aren't used to it. EDIT: They've changed locations and offer a few discount offers. They're discounts include AAA, 1/2 off on your birthday showing a coupon and verfication, and a few others.
