The owner, Lisa, is very responsive and it's easy to book services through their online portal. We've had various sitters over the past few years and Jacki is the best we've ever had. She is so friendly and keeps us very well-informed about our older kitty, who does not like to be alone. When she comes, she sits with him in his favorite recliner and brushes him, which he just loves. We are so comfortable knowing that Jacki is looking after our precious chubby boy. I visited the facility ahead of my dogs' stay and was greeted right away. The staff gave me a full tour, showing the different room options and both the indoor and outdoor play areas. I also noticed there were a lot of employees present during my visit, which gave me peace of mind knowing the dogs are well cared for. They even suggested bringing my dogs in for day camp before their stay, which I really appreciated. I dropped them off for a few hours, and that helped me feel even more confident moving forward. I booked a 3-night stay and received updates when I called to check in, which I loved. When I picked them up, I was greeted immediately again, and the staff was just as friendly as before. Most importantly, my dogs seemed happy--and that means everything. I'll definitely be using Applewood Pet Resort for all my future boarding needs
