Flavor flavor flavor! I love fish especially when it's done right. Pawpaws has lite tender delicious catfish, litely fried shrimp and gumbo that's legit! Lots of choices and combinations. The servers are knowledgeable patient and super sweet. Off the beaten path with a New Orleans vibe. When we visit we come almost everyday we're here in pigeon Forge This has become my family's favorite restaurant. They make us feel like family!

Stopped in here while on vacation. Was able to do call ahead seating for a party of 10. Friendly and attentive waitress. I ordered the fried catfish Acadiana with pasta. The catfish was flavorful with a light breading. The pasta and fish had a creole Sauce that paired nicely. Could have used more sauce on the noodles! I ordered a side salad for my other side. Was simply lettuce and cheese. Overall, very good meal!

The staff are great and the best catfish and crawfish (when available). Don't forget the homemade bread pudding served warm. Family home cooking. Love it!!

Pawpaws is yet another hidden gem of Sevier County and certainly earns a spot in my top 10 there. This is authentic cajun cooking, the way it's supposed to be! Known for their catfish dinners, you'd be crazy not to try some red beans & rice along with boudin balls while you're here! All of the above were excellent along with 5 star service and a casual atmosphere. Locals know...this is the spot! Everyone on the front porch spoke of how great it was as we waited to dine, and they weren't lying. The dining area is small but well worth the wait to enjoy this place!

Came across this place off the side of the road on my family's road trip to Tennessee. We're so glad we made the stop because the food is great! Huge portions and cooked to perfection. Got the sampler plate to try a little bit of everything, and each bite was so perfectly crispy! Our waitress was Misty and she had great southern hospitality. Overall a 5/5 experience and highly recommend the place to everyone visiting the area!

Found by accident while vacationing. Small establishment with very helpful staff. We had a large party, so we called ahead. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated. Simple yet purposeful menu. I selected the crabcakes Orleans. It was 3 crabcakes served atop rice or pasta with a creole sauce and shrimp. Crabcakes were flavorful and had a great mixture of spices. The creole sauce atop was a great addition, I could have used more. Only negative was I found a couple pieces of shell in my crabcakes. Not a big issue, but it is worth mentioning. The baked beans lacked a lot for me. Seemed to be pretty food service quality. The catfish stole the show! Crisp, flavorful and not at all oily. Please note: a 4% charge applies to card purchases. Also 18% gratuity may be added for parties of 6 or more.

We had the catfish, cole slaw, and potato salad.

We stopped in for lunch while on vacation. Service was quick and food was hot! That is a win for us!

    Sampler appetizer.

No complaints. The sampler appetizer was excellent. We did the lunch special: 1/2 Po-Boy and a cup of soup. Chicken and sausage gumbo was full of meat. Shrimp and corn soup was a great option. Although we didn't order it, the couple at the table beside us said the White Chocolate Bread Pudding was the best they ever had. All of our food arrived in a reasonable time, and everything was piping hot. Their slaw is scratch-made; potato salad is not. Some of the best boudin balls I've ever had.

OMG!!! Authentic Cajun Food in Seiverville!!! We're a bunch of New Orleans people in Tennessee! We ordered hush puppies, boudin balls, fried shrimp, fried catfish, Crab cakes Orleans, and gumbo... holy crap, we loved it!!! The service and staff were fantastic!!!! So good! Thank you so much for the hospitality!!! Super cool place and some cold beer! What more can you ask for???

The people here are so friendly and inviting. It's a sweet spot. We arrived just before the storm of people arrived. There was one other person in the dining room. Their crew behaved like a loving family would. It's located off the beaten path of "Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg". It was such a pleasant experience. Before we finished our food the entire place was full. The food is fantastic! We absolutely loved everything and we ordered as much as we could, we had dinner and leftovers. They have a family order option that served us wonderfully. I like that option and more places should offer it! Good on the owner for that!

    Outside shot!

The BEST catfish I have ever had! Servers were kind and attentive. A very relaxed atmosphere! Highly recommended if you want some great catfish, sweet tea, and southern fried comfort food.

Deep in the Tennessee woods, we found ourselves happily among locals, not tourists. No frills, great New Orleans / creole cooking.

As for the food, it was honestly pretty underwhelming considering how hyped this place is. The crab dip was okay, nothing memorable. The steak and lobster was disappointing- the lobster had that soft texture that overcooked or not-so-fresh crawfish can have. The baked shrimp wasn't bad, but definitely not something I'd order again. Strawberry shortcake was decent enough. Ironically, the bread basket ended up being my favorite part of the meal-absolutely delicious. The service, however, was genuinely warm and hospitable. It was a bit slow, but the staff was kind, friendly, and personable enough that it made up for it. That was honestly the highlight of the experience. Was I excited to try this place because of all the hype? Absolutely. Would I personally recommend it? Probably not.

The voodoo kicked it up a notch with just the right heat--spicy, bold, and full of flavor. If you like a little fire, go voodoo! But the real surprise? That praline cream cheese spread!!! The decor is right on point. Cozy, downtown vibe with some New Orleans flair. The rest of the experience is very casual. Order at the bar and food delivered to the table in plastic baskets and utensils. This wasn't what I was expecting, but after getting the food I didn't care. We rolled the dice on the Hop Cakes appetizer and they were a fantastic surprise. I didn't know what to expect, but gobbled them up. I wanted to go traditional for my first visit and got the red beans and rice and was not disappointed. My wife got the gumbo and said it was on par with the best she has ever had. The food was not as spicy as traditional Cajun but that actually worked great for us. We like a little spice but want to be able to taste the quality ingredients that were used. If you want to bring the heat, grab some hot sauce to "pepper the gumbo" as they say in the bayou.
