Behind it all, I have a unique situation and I had went to, Burien Nissan, Honda Of Sumner, Subaru of Auburn and Bud Clary of Auburn. All of them wanted to put me in a vehicle with over 100k miles etc and with 10k down, now they are lost of words when I had told all four of the dealerships that Mazda of Renton had Financed me with a fraction of the 10k requested down. After reviewing the quote, several items appeared to be significantly overpriced. One example was an $82 charge to replace the cabin air filter. We purchased the filter ourselves for around $10 and replaced it in just a few minutes. What concerned us even more was being told that the vehicle was essentially on its last legs and needed extensive work. Fortunately, we decided to get a second opinion before moving forward. Another reputable shop reviewed the same vehicle and quoted approximately $3,000 to address the legitimate issues that actually needed attention. I understand dealerships typically charge more than independent mechanics, but the difference between $11,000 and $3,000 is impossible to ignore. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage anyone receiving a large repair estimate here to get a second opinion before authorizing any work. Immediately after receiving that estimate, we were met by a salesman who recommended we trade in the car and cut our losses. We left feeling pressured, misled, and with very little trust in the recommendations we were given.

Beyond that, Erika was sitting at the front desk and was the first person I ran into. Which is wild to me, since most car dealership GMs aren't that easily accessible or reachable. I ended up working with Evan Olivier and I had one of the best car shopping experiences I've ever had. Evan was extremely personable and real with me. He mentioned the extended warranty one time, I mentioned I wasn't interested and that I had a bad experience with extended warranties in the past, and he didn't bring it up again. He didn't try to push unwanted services or products on me and respected my position on upsold products. I can't say the same for other dealerships... Otherwise, we were able to test drive 4Runners and Tacomas and I learned a ton about Toyota's the day that I visited. Evan was extremely knowledgeable about the different generations and capabilities they had and Evan being a Seattleite, knew what driving a Tacoma or 4Runner would be like in the city because he owned one, it wasn't just word vomit to be more agreeable with me. Instead of doing this crazy test drive, we parallel parked the Tacoma outside the dealership, we reversed into a parking spot, and we even focused on the turn radius like I'd experience in a Seattle parking garage, we almost took it to my apartment complex to check garage door heights to see if it would actually fit in my apartment complex, but phoned ahead and my apartment manager let me know it was a no-go for that specific 4Runner. Evan and I literally tested the exact things you need to check out when you live in Seattle and management was 100% okay with doing this odd check I had requested like taking it to my apartment complex. My long over due review…read more First experience I had was horrible. I had to wait over 2+ hours for an oil change. When I asked how much longer my car would be in service for a simple service, one of the guys told me the mechanic working on my car was on lunch. Almost 3 hours! The shop I used to go to was too far out since I've moved and would only take an hr or less. Second time I came in hopes of maybe having a better experience, I was wrong again! In 2 hours, they were able to do an oil change and suggested new wipers. Which I agreed to it, but found out... they never changed my wipers. My old ones were still on there. How do I know? Because they're mismatched when I replaced one, and both were still mismatched the same way I came out of the shop. Waste of time and money. Avoid at all cost.

I have since replaced the 1 COIL PACK and my Armada runs good as gold again, kinda funny it didnt need a whole motor replacement. After speaking to the manager a couple days prior to taking it in to this mom and pop shop, he told me to bring my suv back so he could personally look at it. No apologies no nothing. This man, his employees and this Nissan dealership are crooked! They will 100% steal your money lie to you about whats wrong with your vehicle and show you pictures of something wrong on a completely different vehicle and claim its yours and then tell you to replace the motor for 22,000 plus dollars. Absolutely do not trust your vehicles here or at least get a second opinion before trusting them with your car. This place deserves absolutely 0 stars they are lying, conniving and manipulative. I took my 2017 Nissan Armada in to this dealership because my check engine light had just come on the week prior and when I ran the codes at O'Reilly it said to replace the cam shaft positioning sensor, so I took it in because after some research it look like a little bit more difficult of a job and figured the dealership could at least tell me the actually diagnosis as that code could mean a couple things. I took it in and dropped it off they called about 2 hours later saying that they couldnt diagnose the problem but that it would need a new engine more then likely. I asked them why they thought it needed a new engine if they couldnt diagnose the problem and they said they couldnt be for sure it needed one since they couldnt diagnose it but they were pretty sure that what it needs. I picked up my vehicle up within a few minutes and the service guy at the front showed me the picture I've posted above saying that there's a yellow film in my engines oil and thats never a good sign that this is why they think it needs a new motor. I asked them to email it to me (which they never did) this all happened end of March 25, 2026 Fast forward to this week 4/20/26 I pulled the engine cover off my vehicle so we could start to flush the engine (as we were advised) and I called the dealership today yo ask them to again send me the pictures of my engine that they took which after 10 mins on hold a different guy gets on and goes "oh yea you had the armada right, i dont have pictures?" Then after a minute goes "oh yea I do I'll send them again right now" as soon as looked at the pictures I knew these pictures were not of my truck as the last picture of the all black oil intake is the picture i took from the engine. They lied about diagnosing the problem then took a picture of a different vehicles oil intake and tried to pass it off as mine. Then charged me over 200 for the service of doing absolutely nothing. I will be filing a formal complaint with nissan! DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLES HERE THEY ARE DIRTY LYING POS!

My journey with Burien Auto Rebuild began after two deer jumped out in front of me on a steep…read moresection of the North Cascades Highway. One yearling wasn't lucky. I read reviews and thought this would be a good place to have the front of my truck repaired. The administrator came out and took photos using a smart phone. First mistake. One must poke and prod; feeling for weak spots which may not show in a photo. I was told the repairs would take 3 days. Great, I would be without for 3 days. Two days later I received a text telling me it would be 5 more days. They didn't notice the damage which the photo did not show. Now, I wanted OEM parts (both headlight assemblies), but they failed to get me the parts list until after they had ordered them (cannot restock parts). They were inexpensive after-market parts. Not to my liking! Eventually my truck was returned on a Thursday. Saturday, I had a function in Skagit County. I returned in the dark. The passenger side headlight beam was aimed at the fog line. Where the driver side beam was aimed was anybody's guess! I took my truck back to have the headlights aimed correctly. Before I did, I researched headlight aiming. The truck was about five (5) feet from a garage door. Not even close to standard procedure. I asked to have them show me the adjustment screws with a hands-on approach. The mechanic was short with me. He pointed and hastily talked me through it. In my garage I set up a standard headlight aiming area. Both headlights were aimed very high. I adjusted the passenger side first. The driver side was next. This is where I got pissed. Someone had taken a knife to the little rectangular box with the adjusting screw. They had cut all the way around it just like one would cut out the bottom of a box. The adjusting screw had no base. It was floating in space and rendered useless. The vertical aiming of this headlight was impossible. The lesson: I told the insurance company about this. Burien Auto Rebuild said it was good when it left their shop (no unbiased opinion). The insurance people (not happy with Allstate) said they believed the shop. Because I had "touched it", they couldn't do anything about it. Basically, Allstate said I was lying. Burien Auto Rebuild said they would never use a damage part. I would never take a knife to my truck. So, who is lying? Burien Auto Rebuild! So, take your time and do your due diligence. When I drove past this garage I had second thoughts. I should have followed my gut instincts. Also, ask around if possible. There are much better rebuild centers to take your vehicle. Oh, and by the way, between the 2 legged and 4 legged personnel they also manage to put some scratches on my truck. I am in contact with my insurance agent to see what he can do for me. No matter what I will not go back to Burien Auto Rebuild. Finally, I will be taking my truck to a dealership and having OEM parts used to redo the headlamp assemblies at my expense.

We had a couple of other pretty bad scratches from past battles with other pillar's and, since we were getting one fixed, we decided to fix them all. After receiving an outrageous quote from the insurance companies recommended body shop I called around and found Zio Auto Body Repair. I called for an estimate and was able to be seen just a few hours later. The estimate was extremely affordable and all of their reviews on Google were stellar so I left my car and they immediately started on the repairs. The work was finished two days early and they even buffed out a couple other scratches that were not part of the scope of the repair at no extra charge. They also detailed the car fully both inside and out! If you are reading this after being in an accident, or if you have some scrapes and scratches on your car you've been putting off fixing, I'd urge you to call Zio Auto Body Repair!

At delivery, the truck was not properly detailed. There was a dirty towel left inside, the center console was unclean, bird droppings on the exterior, and the truck bed had not been cleaned. For a vehicle that had been reserved for a week and given the amount we paid, this level of preparation was unacceptable. We were not provided a walkthrough of the truck's features, no guidance on the Toyota app, and no explanation of how to set up payments. We also were not informed at the time of purchase that we could upgrade rims and tires by paying the difference -- something we only discovered later through the service manager, after the opportunity had passed. While Bradley was professional and polite, the overall sales process lacked clear communication and follow-through. After an accessory upgrade, we were not properly advised about the window tinting process and only learned not to roll the windows down from a small Post-it note. Most disappointing, after Keith, the Sales Manager, personally asked us to leave a review, I emailed him twice to address these concerns and received no response over several months. That lack of accountability reinforced our concerns about the overall customer experience. We expected a higher level of professionalism, communication, and attention to detail.
