The aesthetics were so cute, the atmosphere was amazing, the food was delicious, and the service was top tier. Armand was so wonderful and served us nothing but smiles throughout our time there and gave us the best service. He truly made it an experience for us!! We had a couple items on their special menu along with one of their more permanent items that Armand recommended to us and they were all delicious. Every time I come here I am blown away. If the portraits of Katherine Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor on the wall don't make you want to sing, your food sure will. Even the bread you start with is great. I started with a peach bellini which made the whole visit. Thank you to the bartender for that drink! Then I ordered the seasonal risotto with mushrooms, pancetta, mascarpone, goat cheese and parmesan. My dad got the Panna e Pancetta. The noodles are cooked perfectly and the risotto is so creamy. A group of us went to celebrate a birthday celebration. And Pazza Notte did not even try to accommodate us. Communication is key! And they failed. I called for reservations two weeks in advance for a party of seven. I was told they could not take reservations for parties over six. They then said, "no worries though, come on in and put your name down, while we can't take reservations you will be added to the list and our restaurant is large enough so we will be able to seat you all no problem." I totally understood and appreciated that we were able to add our names to the waiting list. And celebrate the birthday girl. Well, on 7/11/2026, this was not the case. We got there at 6:30 and were told we couldn't be added to the list until after 8:00. Wow! I just spoke to them and they assured me it was no problem. The manager was condescending. No empathy. No customer service. Horrible listening skills. Just matter of fact. We left and were accommodated and enjoyed dinner elsewhere. Pazza lost out on $700. Will not try this place again. read more

Even worse than the first time. Totally disjointed, awful service. Three people "came to take our order" and no one placed the order. Total sh*tshow. Nothing is very good. The pizza is bland. It took 10 minutes after the pizza arrived to get the offered oil and Parmesan. The salad came long after the pizza. The "speciality" martinis are pre-batched and not good at all. When my wife asked for a revision to her drink, the server told her "we're just not that crafty a cocktail place to make something without the intended ingredient." It's incredibly loud too, for those with issues. Awful experience. And a staff that obviously didn't care. read more

What an experience it is to dine here! I learned that there's two locations. One in Midtown, Manhattan and the one in Midtown, Sacramento. There is a beautiful vibe once you step onto the 1801 L Street Ste 10 property with their outdoor patio with lush greenery and their dining room with a vibrant and stunning atmosphere. I dined with two friends and we made reservations ahead of time. Although walk ins are welcome, they do encourage making reservations so please consider that as you plan to dine here. I LOVED my first experience here. When I walked in, I noticed the beautiful bar and exhibition kitchen. Then I noticed the black and white photographs on the wall. I loved it all. My friends who already have been here before told me about their famous martinis so I just had to order one. I got the lychee one and loved it. It is great how they have the second pour in the shaker with these martinis. I am a sucker for fries and their salt & vinegar fries are so good. I also enjoyed the brussels sprouts and burrata. Their affogato was a perfect ending to my time here. They even gave small candies and limoncello during the end of the meal and check time. I noticed they had a happy hour menu weekdays 4-6p. I need to check it out because I do love a good happy hour. Parking is tricky around this area. Expect to pay at the meter and be mindful of timed parking. Overall, definitely check out this unique dining experience at Pazza Notte for their great food and fun vibes. I hear this location has a DJ on some nights so I will be back to check that out too! Very strong, solid and amazing 4 star experience (I don't give out too many 5 star ratings). The restaurant itself seems like it's going for an "Italian setting," but then has an Italian American section on the wall....as well as Frank Sinatra movies playing on their television. Overall, a lovely, tight fit vibe with seemingly happy customers. Our server was very attentive. She accidentally said the wrong restaurant name, as she has two jobs, but she was great and provided prompt service. For one thing, my drink cup was always full. My wife got the salmon de Nonna. She thoroughly enjoyed it. We shared a Manhattan Margheritaa, and while I can't compare it to their regular margherita pizza, it was very tasty and will provide both of us with a satisfying late night snack. Spaghetti Bolognese was just....great. If you're in the mood for a somewhat more authentic spaghetti dish, you will not leave unhappy. Cool fun note... Food was delicious here ! A wide variety of pizzas, classic pasta dishes, as well a chicken and a salmon entree. We enjoyed some Cajun fries for an appetizer and of course the delicious complimentary foccacia bread with a dipping oil. Service was 5 star all the way. Decent but I'm not a huge focaccia fan. 4/5 lychee martini can be either vodka or rum, they give you the extra shaker so you get almost a second drink. The vodka was good, I'm not sure I loved the rum version. 5/5 B&B brussels were delicious, deep fried and flaky but sweet. 5/5 Panna e pancetta was the most amazing pasta I've ever had. So tasty, rich, and the pieces of pancetta was just perfect. 4/5 tagliata di manzo (steak and arugula salad) - the steak was delicious along with the dipping sauce. Not a huge fan of arugula, and there was a lot of it, but it was still good. I'd opt for the steak skewers and the panna e pancetta next time. 4/5 Fusilli de capo tasted like a pizza in a pasta, super flavorful with peppers and Italian sausage. 4/5 Pizza margherita alla napolitana - hubs enjoyed it. My colleagues and I can hear for a conference, and it was an amazing choice! They have so many areas for seating, choices on their menu, and delicious appetizers. My pesto pasta was amazing, and I added chicken to it, which you can pretty much add any protein to any pasta. Stopped by on a Friday evening with some friends for a quick bite. The restaurant was busy, but we were helped quickly and seated within a few minutes. I wasn't super hungry, so I got the burrata ala calabrese and some fries to share. I happened to be in Sacramento for a work trip and passed by on a Sunday evening. Seeing the long line and a packed dining room immediately caught my attention. My partner and I decided to come back the following Monday evening, and to our surprise, it was just as busy! Luckily, we were able to get a great table, and our server, Cali, was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. I'm torn between a three and four, 3.5 would be most appropriate. Inattentive service throughout the entirety of the meal, but apologetic. It took an hour to get the food. Ordered the following: Favorita Salad, Pesto Fresco, and Pizza Rustica. Maybe if I was drinking it would've made the food taste better? Everything was just average to me. I've had better of each of the types of dishes (salad, pasta, pizza). I think I enjoyed the complimentary bread more than anything else during the meal. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Dining indoors was somewhat noisy, perhaps just due to the boisterous customers at the time; you'd have to project quite a bit to talk to the person next to you when I dined. My husband had said we were celebrating our anniversary upon making a reservation in advanced, but they weren't going to do anything for it. I ended up asking about it since someone on Yelp had noted they did something to celebrate the occasion. They told us they'd bring out a gelato with a sparkler, which is what they provide for birthdays. (I saw three others come out during my meal, so they get a lot of birthday celebrations here.) They also take a souvenir instax pic to mark the occasion, which is a nice touch. I'm glad I asked because the gelato somewhat made up for the lack of happiness with the items ordered. I was underwhelmed with the dishes and wouldn't come back again for any of them. Pazza Notte is super busy, even on a typically slow night for businesses (Tuesday)...so maybe I'm missing something here, but my experience (of super slow service and average dishes) is not going to be bringing me back soon. read more

I made a reservation for 5:30pm on a Tuesday and it was surprisingly busy. Reservations required paying a deposit of $10/person using a credit card over the phone. My wife and I ordered the Favorita, Fettuccine Pesto Fresco, and Pizza Rustica. When ordering the Favorita my wife asked if the goat cheese was pasteurized and the waiter said he didn't know. Unpasteurized cheese is unsafe to consume for immunocompromised individuals and it was very important to confirm if the cheese was pasteurized. Unfortunately, the waiter did not offer to find out if the cheese was pasteurized so my wife requested it on the side and was unable to consume it. Complimentary focaccia bread was served with olive oil that contained Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese. The focaccia bread was the perfect consistency as it was not too soft or dense. The salad was served timely, however the pasta and pizza took a whopping 50 minutes to be served! No cheese or chili flakes were offered for the pizza. After the food was served the waiter did not check on us and we had to flag him down to get more water, parmesan cheese, and chili flakes for the pizza. The Favorita was an arugula salad that contained asparagus, yellow beets, and thin sliced radish. It was served with a large parmesan crostini which complimented the salad well and was a scrumptious addition. The Pizza Rustica contained artichoke hearts, spinach, tomatoes and cheese. The toppings were lacking as there were few small artichoke hearts, tomatoes, and a bare sprits of spinach. When I eat pizza I expect toppings in every bite, however there were only a few toppings per slice which was an extreme disappointment. The Fettuccine Pesto Fresco did not have a strong basil taste as I would expect from pesto. The fettuccine also tasted overcooked as the noodles were too soft. When I called to make a reservation I noted we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and was told that something special would be done in celebration. Since no one wished us a happy anniversary or made any mention of it my wife asked one of the servers if they do anything for anniversaries. They ended up providing a gelato with a sparkler in the center and took our picture. The strawberry gelato was tasty and the sparkler provided a neat affect. Here are some stand out things our server Armand did: Offered a bag hook for my purse. Recommended drink based on my preference. Checked on me and how I enjoyed my dish since I didn't finish my shrimp. Not only was the Hospitality wonderful but the food was top tier. I recommend the Vodka Penne! I've been to this location in Midtown twice now and I've had a great experience both times! The first time we went, I got the macaroni and cheese and my friend got a nice soup. We got to sit outside and really enjoyed the ambiance of being outside. I got the Hipster cocktail and it was really yummy. I would definitely drink that again. The super cool thing is they give you the rest of your drink in a shaker so it feels like having 2-3 drinks. The second time we went, my friend and I each got a delicious pasta dish. I got the fettuccine pesto fresco and my friend got the penne vodka. The fettuccine was so good. I loved the pesto sauce. My friend also really enjoyed her penne. The restaurant has really cool photos of both famous and non‑famous people on the walls, plus a small bar near the entrance where you can grab a drink or some food. We started with the B&B (Brussels and Bacon) and the Cajun Spicy Fries. The Brussels sprouts were well done with great flavor from the drizzle. The Cajun fries were cooked nicely and paired well with the aioli. For our mains, we ordered the shrimp linguine and the Forestale Pizza. The shrimp linguine had a light, tasty sauce, though I wish the shrimp came without the tails. The Forestale Pizza was excellent--traditional Neapolitan style, with caramelized onions adding a nice sweetness that balanced the savory goat cheese. Really good pizza. We finished with the Gelato Sandwich. We were hoping for a bit more from this one; the cookies were extremely sweet, though the gelato itself was tasty. I'd probably skip this dessert next time. Finally stopped in for a post birthday celebration. I love the calamari fritti that was battered to achieve the perfect crispiness. It paired nicely with the duo of lemon caper sauce. I did not care for the marinara sauce as it was overly sour tasting. The pappardelle di mare was my favorite dish. I love the ribbon pasta with shrimp, calamari, and clams in a sherry shallot cream sauce. Will definitely order this on my next visit. The gamberi alla diavola was just okay. My book club and I had dinner at Pazza Notte, and it was such a great experience. Our reservation was at 5, but I arrived early to spend some time reading on the patio. The inside is beautifully decorated with lots of natural light, it was really tempting to sit there, but the weather was too nice to pass up, so I stayed outside. The patio was just as charming, with plenty of shade and a relaxed vibe. The music was perfect; not too loud, but just enough to enjoy and even sing along to while still being able to hold a conversation. There were three of us, and we started with the calamari, which was perfectly crispy and delicious. We also shared a pizza and Brussels sprouts. The pizza was good, though I tend to prefer a classic pepperoni, but the Brussels sprouts were a standout; crispy and flavorful. We were also served bread with a really tasty dipping oil, which was a nice touch. At the end of the meal, we were given a complimentary vodka drink that was on the sweeter side but still had a strong kick. Between the three of us, my friends also ordered a few additional drinks. We left feeling completely full, with enough leftover pizza for each of us to take some home. Took my friend here for his birthday and had a really great time overall. We started with martinis, I got the Sicilian and he got the Thinker, and both were fantastic. The extra they pour into the shaker on the side essentially makes it 2.5 drinks, which is a very generous touch. The calamari was a great choice to share: a big serving and delicious. For dinner we went with the tagliata di manzo and the east side pizza. The steak was tender and flavorful, but the real standout was the salad that came alongside it, genuinely one of the best bites of the night and something I'll 100% be coming back for. The pizza was decent but not something I'd order again. Our waiter was attentive and did a great job spacing out our courses, which was especially appreciated since the patio table is on the smaller side. The patio itself has a lot of charm, though the flies were relentless and made it hard to enjoy the outdoor setting, next time I'd opt to sit inside. TLDR: Great atmosphere, delicious drinks, solid pasta and salmon dish Long version: We started with the Caesar salad and steak bites. The steak bites were well seasoned with great flavor, though slightly chewy. The Caesar was served wedge-style, so most of the dressing sat on the outside, and it was very anchovy-heavy and a little too fishy for my taste. It was just okay and not something I would order again. The drinks were definitely a highlight. I got the Sau Sau and my partner got the Some Like It Hot, and both were delicious. I also loved that they came with a shaker that basically gave you a second serving, which made them feel especially worth it!! For entrees, the penne vodka was delicious with a really good sauce and a perfect portion size. My only complaint is that $22 felt a little overpriced considering that adding protein would then be an extra fee. Truffle fries amazing and the pizza so good. Our original waiter was great when his replacement filled in while he was at lunch he was not as friendly. The thing I will say is the standby while waiting for a table. We were told 45 min they give you a number and I guess walk out and yell your number. Always a great time at Pazza Notte and today was no different. Came here with my lady and our son for an early Valentine's celebration. This was his first time and he fell in love with the restaurant. He said the place felt really classy, on par with a place like Morton's. He of course got the pepperoni pizza (pizza calabrese). The inside is so cute and they also offer covered outdoor seating, which would be amazing with good weather. They had a good variety of drinks, I went with the house Bellini which didn't disappoint. For starters we had calamari and Brussel sprouts and they were both delicious, loved. For pizza we went with a classic, the calabrese which was a classic pepperoni. **This isn't about the food** We've dined here several times and have always had a great experience, which made this visit especially disappointing. We arrived at 6 PM without a reservation and were told the wait for an inside table for two would be about 30 minutes. We happily grabbed seats at the bar to wait and remained patient and understanding throughout the entire process. Unfortunately, after nearly an hour of being repeatedly encouraged to sit outside (despite clearly stating we'd prefer to wait for an inside table), we were told that indoor seating was reservation-only. Ironically, I was able to make a same-night dining room reservation on the app for 7:30 while at the bar. Problem solved, apparently--though that solution didn't seem to be well received. The biggest letdown, however, was the bar service. Our bartender was unfriendly, inattentive, never refilled our drinks or water-- while still checking on everyone else around the bar-- she intentionally skipped us multiple times, and gave the distinct impression that she'd did not want to serve us. Maybe because we were the only minorities at her bar...? Not to mention she looked super irritated when I asked for a water refill... after sitting there for over an hour! Who knows what her issue was but she was absolutely awful. It was my birthday (6/30), and after waiting an hour and a half just to be seated, I found myself wishing we'd celebrated elsewhere. Finally got the chance to come with a friend for lunch after strolling around the farmer's market. This restaurant is beautiful inside and out, has bar seating, tables, and a spacious patio underneath lovely midtown trees. The inside is super bright, lots of decor on the walls, flowers everywhere, and the energy was great. We came on an early Saturday afternoon with no reservation but were seated after 20 minutes. Even then, the restaurant was packed! I would definitely recommend getting a reservation if you plan to come later in the evening and/or have a large group with you (it was only two of us). I decided to order the soup of the day, which I believe was a squash/butternut squash soup, Parmesan and truffle fries, and my friend ordered the truffle macaroni and cheese with the "the hipster" cocktail. They also brought complimentary rosemary bread and oil. The bread was soft, the cocktail was great and very decent portion, the soup was perfectly balanced and went great with the toasted bread. The fries were a little cold but tasty and came with garlic aioli and ketchup. My friend said her macaroni and cheese was yummy and she would order again. We came here to celebrate my sister's birthday and our experience was so wonderful. Our server was super nice and friendly and the decorations were really cute. The ambience was perfect for a nice celebration. We had truffle fries and calamari to start and we also did family style for the entrée dishes. We had three pastas, a seafood pasta, the broccoli, broccolini rabe, sausage pasta, and the penne. I think our favorite was the Pancetta, it was really creamy and smoky. The pizza was the margarita with prosciutto and that was probably our least favorite. It was really thin crust and a little bit too salty for us. There is not much cheese on it or sauce either so I don't think I would get that again. I wouldn't recommend the pastas. We also got two cocktails the hipster and Dolce Vita they were really strong and one cocktail was perfect for two people since it was two pours so that was really great. For my sister's birthday they also brought out a big sparkler with strawberry gelato. Overall it was a really great experience and I would come back! read more
