Real disappointment! Most of the staff could care less ( unless you're a local ) 1-1/2 hrs after we ordered pizza we walked out, especially after observing 2 tables that came after us get theirs. The waiter although he was nice was clueless and asked us after 45 minutes if we ordered pizza? But, the food is legit for the most part; wings are acceptable, drinks are up to snuff, and pie is as good as anywhere else in the valley. Some folks absolutely RAVE about the pie... I'm from NYC, and in my opinion Pazzo's is the best pizza in the Vail valley. The wings are also good (the best I've found so far in town) and are a happy hour special. I had a very bad experience eating here. The appetizers all came out cold (chicken wings and french fries), The pizza took over 30 minutes to come out, and the waiter was horrible! We had to ask the waiter for napkins, water, and clean plates. He only came by to bring our food and we had to go inside the restaurant from the patio to ask for refills. The waiter then brought us the bill and proceeded to go across the street to buy wine and to smoke a cigarette. We made more trips inside to get the waiter than he did outside to us. We stayed at the Comfort Inn on a busy February Saturday night in beaver creek. Busy day so just wanted a quick dinner. Tried the other pizza place, hour long wait. So we walked over to Pazzos. There was no one at the wait stand so I tried to approach the bar and was given the Finger wave off (the "polite" finger wave off!). We were greeted by the hostess after about five minutes and she seated us within about ten. We ordered a pizza. It was good. Not anything to write home about. Three drinks and a large pizza $45.00. Wait staff was okay. Very crowded. Not sure I'd go back but would recommend for a place to stop by on the go. read more

After eating the three brought out to him, the waiter asked my son if he'd like more. At the time I thought that was very nice and assumed they would be included in the cost of his meal. Your Pizzas are good , when you remember to make all of the ones ordered... your wings and Calamari are good, when you do not make them too early and they are cold when the Pizza is finished. We went to Pazzo's after a long day of skiing and were starving. The pizza and garlic cheese bread definitely did not disappoint. We loved the Azteca and ended up adding pineapple to it. This place is definitely what you would expect of a greasy pizza joint. Nothing we ordered could be considered healthy which is exactly what we were looking for that day. The only problem was the service. We were there around 2 in the afternoon and the place was empty. Our pizza took forever (I think it was wrong the first time) and when we talked to the server she was rude and short. To me that's the bellwether for good pizza. I suspect that the person working the oven hasn't mastered the art of knowing where the hot spots are in the oven.
