I actually found this place on Yelp. The reviews were all really good so I knew I would like it here. Great happy hour specials! I ordered buffalo wings from the Happy Hour menu and the medium size with lots of toppings: green peppers, sausage, pepperoni, onions, olives and probably some other stuff that I cant remember. The pizza was a little over cooked but I didn't mind because I actually prefer my food this way. The waitress was nice enough to ask us if the pizza was acceptable over cooked. I don't eat the crust so it wasn't a big deal. The pizza was very good! and I'm sure I'll be going back the next time I'm in town. Trust the reviews on this place. read more

Absolutely disappointed. They forgot our food completely and we sat patiently and figured maybe they were just busy. There weren't too many people there but we figured we would give them the benefit of the doubt. So eventually we let them know they forgot our food when the people next to us got theirs first and we arrived before them. After that they still didn't seem to care. We love this place. We just do. We have been coming here for years because we have a timeshare at the Christie Lodge across the street. Staff members come and go, but the food and drink remains the same. This time Tim was our server and he was great. My mom loved the marinara served with the generous Cajun Chicken calzone. We always get the Cabo Pazzo but add Canadian Bacon (because everything is better with pig). Tim called it the Canadian Cabo. Love it! There is a room with 2 broken games and some empty gumball machines . We convinced our child to come here instead of her favorite restaurant that has a pinball machine. I had called and was told a table for 6 was available. The restaurant is racist and were hoping that my family would leave by telling us that we would have to wait. When I arrived the table for 6 was open. The waiter with the baseball cap proceeded to tell me that there was someone in the parking lot that was going to take the table and we would have to wait 5 min to wait to see whether he comes back inside. We waited for at least 15 minutes and he refused to speak or give any eye contact completely ignoring me and my family. The tall waitress also totally ignored me and told me that we could not sit at that table. Finally after 15 min, another waiter appeared who tried to apologize for making us wait. He seats us but no one would take our order or even address us for another ten minutes. The waiter with the baseball cap completely ignored us like we didn't exist. He would walk right by us and didn't want to wait on our table. Do NOT go here if u are a minority. They will try to make you leave and will not want to wait on you, except for one waiter only. Poor set up for seating, the waiter pointed to our table where we were to sit. We sat 1 foot from a party of 8. Not a clean place. Windows filthy. As for the food, wings were good along with the dinner salad. Husband ordered a slice of pepperoni black olive pizza which was over cooked and looked like it had been around awhile. You'd think the waiter would have refused to serve it but nope. So far we have been to 2 restaurants here in Avon, CO and they both were dirty and over priced crap food. My group ordered a variety of large Pazzo's Pizzas & carried them to the Party Room to watch the basketball game. There was a microwave to reheat them, so we made them last till halftime. Cajun, Supreme, Pizza De Roma, Cabo Pazzo. The toppings were distributed evenly, & all were delicious. Something to please everyone, + a good time to experiment. Pazzo's has a laid-back atmosphere, & a group of young men up front who make pizzas with lightning speed. This is one of the few restaurants open then; and the folks are friendly, Service and food are great - broad menu will appeal to many different desires. I'm literally sitting in this restaurant writing a review. It's 7:59 at night. Put in a to-go order at 6:40. Showed up and they never put my order in and now need to wait another 25 minutes. The person we ordered from couldn't give us a total and didn't ask for a name. When we showed up, they asked if we ordered from the right place - we did, and showed them a screenshot of our phone call when we ordered. We went to Pazzo's for lunch one day on our vacation. There were four of us. They brought out one person's sandwich. About 10 minutes later, they brought two servings of pizza. One person's pizza was made incorrectly so they brought out another slice with the correct topping, however, the cheese wasn't even completely melted on top of the slice. About 10 minutes later they finally brought out the last person's calzone and again, it was made incorrectly. It was sent back and then we decided the meal was over. Our waiter was good, he was doing the best he could with the kitchen constantly screwing up. I was a little skeptical at first, reading some of these bad reviews. But my service was great. I was seated upon walking up, brought our drinks right away, and within 5 minutes iur order was in. We waited maybe 15-20 minutes for our food but once it was ready, I watched our waiter bring it directly to us. I chose a calzone with cajun chicken and pepperoni calzone. IT WAS BIG AND DELICIOUS! Always good to great pizza. Service is excellent, and Mark the owner is a gem of a giver to local charity. I have bought pizza to go, eaten it there, and also just gone in to ask for donations for local events and say hi. Over all staff are super cool, super helpful, and don't cop attitude with you if you are local or visiting. They understand customer comes first, quality comes first, and a smile goes a long long way. BTW, I always order their Supreme, well done, and large, usually two of them to share with others and also have leftovers for the next day either cold or heated up on the BBQ or micro. What more could one ask for these days than feeling like a valued customer (we did!)? Well, one could ask for a waiter who knows their beer (couldn't have picked better If I'd have picked it myself!), a restaurant' that prides itself on "freshly made" (calzones made from scratch and with fresh ingredients, in-house made marinara, so yummy!), and great service (friendly, fun wait staff!), and easy to get to location off I-70 (an important factor if you're traveling), and that's what we got! Found this gem by accident (the restaurant we stopped for wasn't open yet, glad it wasn't!) and glad we did!! Not sure we'd pass this one by again. Real disappointment! Most of the staff could care less ( unless you're a local ) 1-1/2 hrs after we ordered pizza we walked out, especially after observing 2 tables that came after us get theirs. The waiter although he was nice was clueless and asked us after 45 minutes if we ordered pizza? I knew we were in trouble when I observed employees walking out of the restrooms that were completely disgusting. Now I know this place is capable of producing a decent meal because we enjoyed one from them in 2014 but this time after inviting another family to join us NEVER AGAIN. Yes the place was busy but seriously almost 2 hrs for a pizza when I had my 6 year old crying that she hadn't eaten. At that point we went to the bar to ask for the manager and pay for what we have received and 2 locals wanted to fight us. Real lowlife enticing me to fight him in front of my kids. Best pizza in the valley and good drink deals as well. No wonder why it is packed. We often call ahead and pickup. My advice is order an extra pizza - everyone loves it and the leftovers are amazing the next day. Garlic bread - at least one order for every 3 people. read more
