Amazing place, unfortunately shutting down after many decades. They close Oct 31st. Stop by for some great food and drink. Service is still outstanding and great music.

Bar Only: Came to PC's on a laid back Sunday evening after having dinner at another Simi Valley location. A member of our party wanted a snack, but we called before, and PC's closes its kitchen at 8pm on a Sunday. By Yelper Rob B.'s suggestion we went to PC's anyway for après dinner drinks. Only a few customers playing darts. Big TV screens featuring all sports programming. Full bar with hard liqour, beers, wines. Fairly large space with tables as well as tall chairs for sitting at the bar. Not quite a dive bar, and definitely not a high class lounge. For want of a better word, it's a comfortable neighborhood bar closer to the bar set in the old school Cheers TV program. Although it's not an Irish pub, PC's may be an ideal place to celebrate Saint Patrick day. Late 1960's & 70's music was playing, but mercifully it was background music so we didn't have to yell at each other to be heard. Supposedly there is Saturday live entertainment, Friday Karaokè night, and other entertainment occasionally on other nights. There is no hyper sophisticated mixology so don't expect macerated fruits, months long fermented infusions of liquors, nor esoteric liqueurs. We walked in and was immediately greeted by the friendly, moustached bartender. I don't know much about Bourbon, rye, or whiskey other than it translates directly from Celtic as "the water of life". So the bartender suggested Uncle Nearest, 1856 Premium Whiskey. Uncle Nearest is distilled in Tennessee and hand made. The aging in charred oak barrells adds caramel, oaky vanilla tones. Sense a bit of toasty cinnamon and bit syrupy sweetness. Also I sensed a soapy undertone. There's a peppery after taste and touch of heat since Uncle is 100 proof or 50% ethyl alcohol which gives Uncle a "kick". Even with all these complex big flavours bumping into each other, it must have been even wilder before it was filtered through maple wood charcoal. May not be totally my cup of tea, but glad I got to experience this U.S. made traditional "hooch". By the way, Nathan "Nearest" Green, who was a Black slave, was Jack Daniel's actual distilling mentor. Green perfected the Lincoln County Process of making whiskey which is characterised by dripping corn-rye whiskey through Sugar Maple charcoal for 14 days of filtering, then storing in American Oak. I'm impressed that PC's stocks such specialized Whiskey. Next time I may find they stock Hibiki Harmony, Fukano, Suntory Yamazaki or other smooth, silky Japanese whiskeys. Thanks to the moustached bartender for the kindly suggestion. PC's a nice, casual place to hang out. Next time, must try the food.

Great prices! We had 4 beers and a basket of fries for $17! Ambiance casual - very chill atmosphere. Waitstaff- attentive but not annoying. Genuinely friendly. Beer - cold Fries - hot Will return! Definitely recommend if you want a place to chill out alone. Also recommend if you want a place to chill and meet people. Just an overall great atmosphere!

The meat quality is far substandard! They completely ruined the vibe of what was great. Cocktails are double the price from once was, and watered down. Prices of Sherwood but Sinaloa quality.

Wasn't obnoxious about giving good service but on top of it. Got our orders right, was accommodating. I love the ambience. Not California dining with bright lights and high noise level. Steakhouse Prices, Worse Than Cafeteria Food…read more Spider webs on the dining room lamps and food stains on our tablecloth were the first things I noticed during our first visit. Not exactly the first impression you'd expect from a steakhouse restaurant. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms appetizer. It arrived with plates but no silverware. We waited several minutes assuming our server would return with utensils, but she never did. We had to flag her down and ask for them. I also ordered a glass of wine that never arrived. The restaurant was slow, and by the time our entrées were served, I was still waiting. When we reminded our server, she just said "oh the wine yes!" She completely forgot! The food was even more disappointing than the service. The loaded mashed potatoes tasted extremely sour, no cheese, just shredded raw onions and sour cream with burnt top. How can you call this loaded baked potato? The mac and cheese was dry, bland, and lacked any real cheese flavor. Even the green beans had to a burnt pieces mixed in.None of the sides were at edible level. The steak was the only thing on my plate thats tolerable and even that left my stomach uncomfortable after my meal. The biggest disappointment was the food. For steakhouse prices, we were served loaded potatoes overwhelmed by raw onion, mac and cheese that tasted like cardboard, burnt green beans, and an average steak. The service and cleanliness issues only added to the frustration. We usually dine at Larsen's but decided to try support local businesses. After this experience, we'll be sticking with Larsen's. This will be our first and last visit.

I'd give Riley 10 stars if I could…read more We visited the Simi Valley Market Broiler at 4 PM the day before Father's Day to celebrate my sister's birthday. It was my mom, my sister, my son, and me. The food was great, and although it was quiet when we arrived, it became very busy by the end of our meal. What truly stood out, though, was our waitress, Riley. She had the perfect balance that is honestly hard to find. She wasn't overly friendly or overbearing, but she also wasn't distant or robotic. She was simply genuine, attentive, calm, and incredibly thoughtful. Our table was a little chaotic at times. My mom accidentally spilled an entire glass of water all over the table, and Riley handled it with such grace and calmness that she immediately put everyone at ease. She never made us feel embarrassed or like we were inconveniencing her. Toward the end of the meal, my sister quietly snuck out because she didn't want anyone singing Happy Birthday to her, and my son went with her. Riley was so thoughtful that she packed up my son's ice cream (which we didn't even realize came with his meal) along with my sister's birthday sundae that we also didn't know was included. There was just something really special about her. Riley made us feel welcomed, cared for, and comfortable from beginning to end. We will absolutely be back, and Riley is a huge reason why. Thank you, Riley, for making an ordinary family dinner feel memorable.

We had plans to dine elsewhere and when we arrived it was a sold out event even though I was never told that when I called earlier in the week that there was going to be a different situation (that is another story for later) So here we were a party of four looking to dine somewhere locally at prime dinner hour and striking out. My wife called MB Grille as we were already heading in that direction and talked to Alice and she allowed us to put our name on the list with the intent of us arriving in 10 minutes. We did arrive on time and the place was packed, we did get seated shortly after we arrived and Riley was our server. What a friendly easy going helpful person she was, answering questions that we had and getting answers for the questions she didn't have. Very attentive checking on us numerous times. We have dined here before and the fish is always fresh and cooked to perfection, Oysters are always good and the cocktails always spot on and refreshing. Big shout out to Riley on this one, great service is just as important as delicious food. And a great hostess such as Alice keeps the incoming customers flowing and happy and feeling welcome. Thank you both for making a fall out evening into a dining pleasure. Well done Riley and MB Grille, as always we will see you again soon. Bon Appetitto

A creamy marinara with sun dried tomatoes, asparagus and basil. The sauce was outstanding. The chicken Parmesan was 2 good size breaded chicken breast topped with cheese and marinara. A side of spaghetti marinara was served with the chicken. The meatballs were maybe 3 oz each. Fork tender and had a great herbaceous flavor. The lasagna was rich in flavor and a hearty portion everyone loved the food. I think we have found our new go to for Italian food. Would love to comeback and try other dishes.

Yes, that does explain the name, but still . . . That was just the beginning of my odyssey to a great lunch. The outside has a large patio, and it is decorated as eclectically as the rest of the entryway and dining areas. In fact, you could spend all day looking at every item in this place! Amazing dedication to a theme that actually works, and makes you feel relaxed and at home, at least for me (clutter confession in that statement . . . ). There are dining rooms and a bar area for further relaxation! The welcome was quick and warm, and the service was great. The menu itself is just as odd, almost like a child drew it with crayons, so I took a while to make sure I didn't miss anything, even though I pre-planned my attack on Yelp and their website. I was still overwhelmed in person! Kailey was a great server, friendly and efficient. I ordered the grilled three cheese sandwich (with Jack, pepper jack, and cheddar on sourdough, grilled) served with fries or chips - I chose the house-made chips, and added a side salad. The salad arrived first, and I had almost finished it when the sammy arrived, hot and melty. It was on a bed of chips, the amount of which shocked me! The whole plate was covered with them. I even took a large box of them back to the hotel for a later snack; they were too good to just leave abandoned. The sandwich was great, just the comfort food I needed that afternoon. There are other items I would try on the menu, so I hope to find myself in Simi Valley again. A great place with great food and service.

Our server seem to be really new and not knowing what she was doing. It was frustrating having to ask for everything the whole time. We decided to get the meat lovers skillet, tricolor burrito, fiesta omelette, French toast. I asked for the shredded beef for my tricolor burrito, I also asked for no onions as this was another ingredient with this burrito. When I got my burrito, I thought there was a lot of onions. So I asked the server. She went to the kitchen and asked and was told that the shredded beef comes with onions. I believe that since I had mentioned, I don't want any onions, it would have been great to mention that the shredded beef already has onions so we would have chosen another meat option and not send the dish back to the kitchen. After I received my plate, saw so many onions, decided to mention it to the server and that's when she went back to the kitchen to ask, then realized it has the onions. And when I asked for asada meat, I was told it's extra. All this conversation, the server keeps coming back-and-forth to the kitchen, which was really frustrating. I end up getting the chicken, it was a good option. Our family liked the meat, lovers skillet, and the French toast Food was good however I would not be returning because the service was absolutely horrible
