This was my first time here and it was marvelous, my son wanted to go so we did. The restaurant was immaculate, they even have a little sink with soap and napkins so you can wash your hands before you eat. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food came out fast hot and fresh. They also have military Monday's where active duty and veterans get 50% off their entire order, being a vet that means the world to me. Love this place, they have outside and inside seating a TV and music playing but neither of which overpower your dining experience, you can still hear your conversation. Ate here for first time for quick bite. Friendly staff, fast-fresh food, but I thought the fresh tenders meals were slightly expensive. Over $10 for a 5-piece meal... Woah! But I will say that it was delicious...everything was fresh and great! The tenders were juicy, I tired all 7 homemade sauces and they all were delicious, the fries were my favorite because they truly were fresh cut & cooked to perfection. And then there's the fresh baked chocolate chunk cookie that melted in my mouth. This place is new so I just hope they keep up this momentum, if so, I'll pay the $10 to eat here. I expected very fresh chicken fingers and that's what I received. They did short me on some of the extra ranch I asked for but that wasn't a big deal. I asked for some and they quickly handwd me a few. You can't go wrong with PDQ. If I had the $$$ to quit my IT job and open one of these, I'd definitely do it. Ate at PDQ because it was close to the interstate and our hotel. I had never heard of it before. I loved the atmosphere inside the restaurant. Clean, open and friendly. I'm a huge ketchup fan and they had a spout so you did not need to bother opening package after package. The food was okay. I liked their fries a lot. They were seasoned with the perfect blend of spices. I had the grilled chicken tenders and they were okay. I'd be more likely to order the fried next time. They have about 8-10 homemade sauces to select from and they provide you with a lot of sauce so no worries there. Overall, it was a positive experience and I'd eat here again. read more

This is a perfect place to enjoy the view of Manatee River. Food is excellent and service is great daily catch is our favorite dish.

Decided to try this place out while I was on a break from work, I was excited because I heard from my coworkers that this place was the same quality as Culvers. They were sorely mistaken, the prices might be somewhat similar to Culvers but the menu is definitely lacking because they only specialize in chicken tenders. Also to point out the serving size is not worth the price the sandwiches should be considered sliders, they are that small. The only thing this place has going for itself is that it's upkeep within the restaurant is great, Freestyle Coke Machines and the Fries they serve are like miniature Five Guys fries. I will most likely not come back here unless they change the portion sizes, for me I'll just stick with Culvers. read more

Been here several times, and consistently due to physical location and layout it is a terrible I convenience to get to. That in combination with trash service and the speed at which the employees seem to work at, gives for a terrible impression of what a restaurant should be like. However this particular visit was the tipping point. While on a limited time break from work, took on the challenge of dealing with the traffic just to get there to wait in the drive through line behind a single vehicle for 15 minutes forcing me to actually reverse out to leave or else be late. PDQ is pretty good for a fast food joint. The restaurant is always clean, the food is always hot. My favorite is their fresh REAL lemonade, not the fake stuff! I was really looking forward to an all chicken tender place but this is not it. I have eaten here twice and while their chicken sandwich is good it doesn't make up for the dry chicken tenders or the high prices. Since they don't have a standard microphone ordering and you talk to a reg person I still can't figure out how they screwed my order up. I left with an extra drink which I apparently paid for and no Blueberry coleslaw which I also paid for. I know I won't be going back there but they always have a full parking lot like Culvers does which I will never understand that! I went through the drive thru and ordered a 5 piece tender meal, tots, a drink, and some fries. I received COLD and UNSALTED fries, luke warm tater tots, and burnt tenders. Apparently they recently changed their sauces so they are no longer homemade, and they are all disgusting to say the least. My ranch had a yellow residue around the rim which could have been from them packaging it earlier in the day, but it was disgusting. I am extremely disappointed with the taste and quality of my food. When I called the store to ask why my ranch was nasty, my tenders were burnt, and my fries were cold and unsalted, I got a mediocre response. Never have I found a better drive thru and quick "fast food" area that I have loved. I got the Hawaiian grilled chicken burger which included pineapples and coleslaw with a sweet Siracusa sauce. Some of the best fast food ever. Freshly cooked chicken tenders either breaded and fried or grilled (no breading) comes with your choice of 4 different sauces and fries. I had the grilled chicken on a house salad that had craisins and walnuts with the honey dressing. Yummy it was all fresh and the chicken was warm, did not taste like microwave either. Their housemade lemonade was a little too sweet for me but with the unsweetened ice tea added was just right. Refills are free. Second time in I had to try the fried chicken tenders with the saracha sauce, another hit if you like it hot. Lunch and or dinner for under $10. Ate here for a fundraiser my daughter's class was having. I had been once before without being impressed by the Caesar salad. This time I had the crispy chicken sandwich and my husband had the buffalo chicken sandwich. It was quite tasty! The chicken was very juicy and delicious! The fries are seasoned to perfection. My husbands buffalo sandwich had a great flavor. Atmosphere was modern and fun. My only complaint is when I told them my name for the order they put the wrong name and I waited a bit before asking where my food was. Unfortunately the were calling the wrong name and my food sat until I went to ask where my food was. The chef was very kind and said he would re-make everything if our food was cold. If you're wanting a cute little salad/sandwich place, this is not it. It is a glorified fast food restaurant where you pay more for the same food you'd get through the drive thru. My boyfriend ordered the famed tenders (which he said were better at Poppi's Place across the street) and I ordered a salad. The dressing was homemade which is the only redeeming part of my meal. But the chicken on my salad was so rubbery... not the same chicken they serve in their tenders. Most of the salad was white flavorless cabbage. The salad was McDonald's quality at best. read more
