I've never had PDQ until this week on Wednesday! After trying it the first time, I have eaten at this location for three days in a row. The staff and service is incredible. I've always liked PDQ and I'm happy they are at the town center. For being new the staff are well organize and bang out food fast! The line was long when we got here but we waited maybe 5 mins. No worries, menus are everywhere and they have 2 tvs show casing some new and yummy dishes. I got one of my favorites, chicken cali club sandwich. And of course I got the meal... hello fries!! I WAS ROOTING FOR YOU PDQ! Last night I decided to make a late night run through the PDQ drive thru. I ordered a three tender meal from the nice young man at the first window. I requested a bottle water for my drink. He called out to someone and said "you said we're out of bottle water, right?" The person responded and said "yes, you'll have to get Dasani." In my eyes Dasani IS bottle water but the story continues. I get to the front and the young lady goes to hand me a cup of water which she described as Dasani and my meal. I had the smokehouse bowl and it was not up to my standards. I dined in two weeks ago and the service attendant noticed I barely ate. I love this PDQ location because it is the perfect convenience when shopping at the town center. The store itself is extremely clean and all of the cashiers were very friendly. We each chose a different chicken sandwich, one of the butter chicken and one of the grilled buffalo chicken. Each of them were very tasty and the chicken was nice and tender. our family loves pdq, but when our local location permanently closed, we had to stop by here while on vacation in florida! the food was great as usual; very tasty chicken! and the woman at the register was very patient with us as we were trying to find out the best way for us to order since we were a larger group. and our food was ready before we even filled our drinks all the way up! the man running it out carried it to our table for us, which was very nice. the ambiance was very nice as well with fun music playing and good stations playing on the tv. only thing was that we had to wipe our table off because it hadn't been cleaned since the last people were there, but that was no issue. overall great! read more

Another fairly new chain in the restaurant scene, I'm pretty much a fan. The restaurants are pretty much cookie cutter and include a large private parking lot, a drive thru for when you're in a hurry and a spacious open dining room with assorted booths and tables. The restaurant is always cleaned as there seems to be a rover assigned to picking up trays and wiping down tables. Their menu is pretty simple, chicken served about any way you want it. Tenders, nuggets, sandwiches, wraps and salads. My favorite sandwich is the Cali Club and my favorite salad is the Caesar. I have one dislike and it has to do with the way they store their salad dressing, the Caesar dressing is always nearly frozen and like paste instead of liquid. They feature 15 popular dressings so I'm sure your favorite is on the list. Once you pay and grab a seat, they call your name when your order is ready and they typically announce it and a friendly phrase like "Bill, your delicious Cali Club is ready." There's usually a good vibe in the place and background music to lighten things up a bit. My food and experiences have been nothing but good to amazing so I try to support them whenever possible. Every time I visit Florida I get breakfast at Kekee's. Today I decided to try a local favorite. Shrimp and grits were COLD! I won't be returning. If I have to return my food to get warmed up in a microwave I should at least get a discount. PDQ is pretty amazing. We usually stop by when we are in the area as it has become a top favorite of my son. The staff is always friendly and the food is always fresh. Just about every time I have gone through the Drive Thru, I have been instructed to park while my order is made. Not a hassle by any means because who doesn't love fresh food. Yet, it seems like it is always me... but I am not here very often or place huge orders (two meals at most.) Always remember to ask for your dipping sauce at the pick up window. They only ever forgot once and the person at the order window always reminds me to ask the next window. The chicken is top notch and the flavor is on point. The garlic dipping sauce is a favorite in our house and we always get the tots. I am part of the loyalty club, so I get offers/ coupons periodically. The salads are made to order so I chose to have the tomatoes removed and swapped the dressing for ranch. My salad had great flavor. There menu has lots to choose from and all reasonably priced. I've been here several times and I've never had a bad experience. The level of service you get here is equivalent to Chik Fil A, which is outstanding. I come here regularly during my lunch break and the food comes out fast which I appreciate so I'm not late going back to work. The chicken tenders are incredibly juicy and soft. Kathryne the front-of-house shift manager is the first thing that I should say about this review so that anyone would know the need to encounter this wonderful woman with such a humane nature. She is the embodiment of what customer service and an excellent experience should and need to look, sound and be like anywhere. A dear friend and I decided to stop in at this particular PDQ location. He had never been to one as I have been to just one other PDQ location in the Bartrum Park area over a year ago and had wonderful service. The food was absolutely great as well. I was very impressed then and when best location opened up in St. Johns town Center I had the same expectation going into this one. Needless to say I was not left with egg on my face but rather blown away by the level of professionalism, courtesy and service. I was quite impressed with the way the establishment looked and felt upon entering. As I surveyed around it was very clean and presentable for a fast food environment. The floors were free from debris, the tables were not littered with remnants of post diners's half eaten food and trays, and the windows were spotless all the way around and it smelled sanitary and lovely. After someone finished there was someone immediately on staff clearing the area and prepping it for the next occupant. Our selections were the same one we ordered and Kathryne assured us of the freshness and that it would be a little weight because she wanted the staff to make fresh rice to be added to the queso chicken bowls. We were very patient and not in a hurry as we know patience means quality and like when you want to rush a prepare of your food and their service. While we waited, she offered if she could get us a cookie to hold us over. Since both of us counter calories in mind our food and sugar intake, we declined. However before we could decline affectively she had mentioned the first cookie as a peanut butter chocolate cookie and we were sold!! That was very kind offer that we would've gladly paid for but after eating the cookie we were glad that that was the first one that she offered us and that we agreed after the fact. While we had some getting to know you moments with Karhryne, she told us about the establishment, how business has been settling since the opening, then hiring more quality staff to represent them, and how the dedication of their customers has been quite wonderful since opening in the Saint John Town Center. She gave us an overview of some of the philanthropic endeavors that PDQ does and will be doing one April. Since we ordered one of the bowls as our entrée, there will be a particular donation to the nonprofit organization throughout the month of April called, No Kid Hungry, That will benefit from the likelihood of the patrons ordering a bowl selection and the portions of proceeds will go to that organization. That's with an organization that I've supported in the past and present and therefore it piqued my interest, as well as his, to come back to ensure this is a successful endeavor PDQ has embarked upon. There was nothing short of pure excellence all the way around from the time we parked in the lot which was immaculate, the first impressions of the outside of the establishment which was debris free, then inside to find the atmosphere warm, welcoming and inviting to all those who patron, I have to say I left with a smile and a satisfaction beyond my expectations which were already high going into this locale and suggesting it to a first timer. To tell you just how impressed I wise, every employee's uniform was free from wrinkles, stains and they all had their name tags presentable. That's great uniformity. Kathryne is now in blazoned and our minds as the person we would love to see time and time again when we go. She set the tone for the rest of the staff in which she managed to be an example. Every smile that they showed, even those who harmed or sang under their breath while cleaning the dining area showed me they enjoyed their work and were an extension of the management's right choices to represent on the front line dealing with the public. We made sure to get menus and catering menus and Catherine so that we could distribute to our prospective jobs, friends, and to use ourselves in the not-too-distant future with prospective clients during a business luncheon. The food is of good quality as well as the service. For these reasons I highly recommend PDQ St. Johns town Center. I definitely recommend the powers that be who read this to definitely thank Kathryne for being an exemplary example of YOUR brand in such a shining way that this review will reach many and the success of this location will be partly due to her and the employees she led that evening for the business to grow bigger and greater. I was greeted and taken care of right away. They were able to answer the questions I had about the new entree.
