BEWARE! This location tries to steal people's money by adding extra costs on your bill. This happened to me today. Dominick M. was my server. I was here with a party of 6 and I ordered a separate order to go. I ordered a cornmeal crusted catfish meal with an add on of fried shrimp. When I got my check, I noticed Dominick charged $17.95 instead of the $10 extra stated on their menu. I told him about it and he changed it but he tries to steal the extra $7.95 and charge extra tip. I told him the original to go order receipt did not have the auto gratuity and this is a to go order. He said yes it did. So I asked for the original receipt back. Look at that, it did not! .Never again will I go there. I encourage everyone to check their bills before paying. I am attaching all the proof in the pictures.

This spot is the ultimate brunch vibe! From the moment you walk in, the music is bumping, the energy is high, and the air is filled with amazing smells. It's lively, fun, and the perfect backdrop for a weekend feast -- and it doubles as a great spot for a fun dinner vibe too. Their all-day menu is loaded with southern comfort eats, portions are huge, and seafood reigns supreme. Highlights from our table: creamy, cheesy mac and cheese that hits every craving; shrimp and grits loaded with flavor, tender shrimp in a dreamy white wine sauce; a giant shrimp po'boy piled high with jumbo shrimp and a sauce you'll want more of; perfectly cooked calamari with flavorful dips; steak frites with perfectly cooked steak and truffle parmesan fries; and catfish that's crispy outside and melt-in-your-mouth inside. Even the fried shrimp were huge and juicy. The spinach artichoke dip was okay, not the best. Service is friendly and welcoming, but can slow down when it's packed -- and it does get packed. They don't take reservations, so plan to come early or be ready for a wait. Drinks were solid, though our beers could have been much colder. Prices are fair for the quality and portions, and there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Whether you're with family, on a date, or doing a girls' brunch, this place delivers a fun, flavorful experience worth coming back for.

I don't know what the poor reviews are about. Visited last Saturday evening for the first time, was seated quickly. Very cute and cozy environment with a vibe. Was greeted warmly by our server, he answered all of our questions. We started with OVEN BAKED GRITS Simmered Black Angus Beef, Parmesan, Arugula Salad, OMG so delicious, ate every bite including the salad. Also had, FRIED CALAMARI served with tartar sauce, crunchy and flavorful. For my entree (pretty full, took it to go) I had the shrimp po boy, cones with coleslaw, Caesar salad as my side. Po boy was good, soft bread and crunchy shrimp, no complaints here. Really enjoyed my meal here.

If you haven't been to the Southern restaurant Peaches, you need to get there quick! ! It's small, cozy with good vibes and great music ! The staff are friendly and service is great but can be slow . Location is Lewis Ave off of Decatur St . I tend to be there when they open for dinner on a Saturday at 5pm . The wait can be long! It can be a bit pricey $50-$100 but you get good size portions . My favorite dish is the fried Catfish and grits with a side of collard greens . But everything on this menu is delicious ! I also love the shrimp and grits but sometimes there's not enough sauce in them . The eggs and French toast are amazing . The corn bread is slap yo momma good and while I prefer my own Mac and Cheese , this one I will eat ! You can't go wrong with anything you order here . Try the Sweet Georgia Brown or Brownstone Punch ! The is limited street parking but like anywhere in Brooklyn you'll be parking and walking.

Came on a Sunday for brunch for two around noon and waited about 20 minutes. It was quite busy. - Chicken and toast: chicken was juicy and crispy. The syrup from the French toast and the hot sauce on the table gave it a hot honey flavor, highly recommend - Shrimp & grits: a little on the watery side but flavor was there - Smoked Chicken and Sausage Gumbo: flavorful and filling - Corn bread: a little dry for my liking, but with a slab of butter it made it better Overall, a pretty solid place if you're craving southern food.

AMAZING! went to a poetry night in Brooklyn and my friends and I were recommended this location. Everything was truly delicious and tasteful. Service was great we were seated right away with no reservations. Ambiance was spacious and decent! My friends ordered the shrimp, Mac and cheese and catfish and I ordered the shrimp po boy and the buttered pound cake! Everything was beyond delicious! Can't wait to visit again

2 Peaches locations done, both with great results. The breakdown: This location is slightly larger than Peaches Hothouse a couple blocks from this area and twice as busy so there was a wait to order my food to get the attention of any of the waiters, but I have to say, the waitress that served me was very courteous when it was my time to order. The place does have a bit of Southern aesthetic to it being dimly lit but you wouldn't entirely notice on the day I went because it was very sunny outside. Fortunately the food preparation didn't take as long as it did for any of the servers to notice me and I my order was brought to me in the most immaculate presentation possible, it was picturesque I didn't want to ruin it but I was hungry. I ordered the Jumbo Shrimp Po'Boy with Fries. I thought it was a choice between fries or the side salad which happened to be coleslaw but I got both anyway. I don't care for coleslaw period so I didn't touch it. I started off on the fries, nice and tender to the touch with the right type of crisp, just like the other Peaches in Bed-Stuy. The Po'Boy was MASSIVE. They gave me a healthy serving of shrimp that I thought I'd have to dislocated my jaw to even bite into it but I managed, evenly so to the point that I was shocked I didn't make a mess of myself. That Po'Boy legit tasted like having it in New Orleans, just absolutely divine. Also had some Strawberry Lemonade with it which might have been a mocktail because it did have the aftertaste of one. The taste of itself as a whole was pretty good. The Tiger Woods I had from the other Peaches spot is slightly better but this Peaches didn't have my favorite half and half on the menu so it would have to do. Of course the whole meal came up to $29 whilst giving a $4 tip as a job well done on service. All that's left is Peaches Prime and Grand. I'm already stoked to get there, after I can feel like I can afford it.

This Peaches location is just okay. We went on a Sunday without a reservation so the wait was very long. We ended up sitting outside. The food was mediocre to me. I ordered the shrimp po'boy and I'd give it a 3.5/5.

Consistency at its finest! When I lived in Brooklyn, Sunday brunches here were the norm ! I was a regular. Since moving, I haven't been back. I was craving the French toast so I made my way here and I was extremely happy that no only was the menu everything I expected but the food still tasted INCREDIBLE. I can't tell you the worry I had that maybe the menu switched up or they had a new chef who decided to change the recipes. Welpp if it ain't broke don't fix it! And they don't need to fix anything here! Service, food, music , drinks ..everything is just right!

I love Peaches, and it's one of the best spots for brunch if you're in the mood for Southern food. It's never completely booked to the point where there's a long wait. Every time I go, I've been able to get in without making a reservation, which is rare for a lot of popular eateries. Peaches does a great job of keeping things moving, and I think it's because they serve food relatively quickly without cutting corners. If you're a fan of chicken and waffles, this place is perfect. They've got all sorts of waffle options--red velvet, Oreo-inspired, and more. Back in 2021, I had my first experience with white barbecue sauce here, which I didn't even know was an Alabama thing until then. The authenticity of their Southern cooking, paired with their Harlem-inspired flair (chicken and waffles originated in Harlem, after all), makes this place stand out. You can tell they put a lot of time and resources into perfecting their sauces and menu. Peaches isn't just for those with a sweet tooth; it's also great if you want something savory. The Cornmeal Crusted Catfish with salt and pepper fries is a solid choice, and their fried chicken is always on point. If you want something hearty, try the Turkey Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a barnyard-inspired wooden interior and a nice outdoor patio for warm days. It's near a school, so if you're not a fan of hearing kids during your meal, weekends or summer afternoons are your best bet. That said, it's a perfect spot for a chill Sunday or Saturday brunch. They also do delivery if you live nearby, and the food comes in sturdy, well-packed containers. This place feels like home to me, and every detail--whether it's the warm hospitality, quick service, or the thoughtfully crafted menu--makes it one of my top recommendations. If you're looking for a spot to enjoy Southern comfort food in Brooklyn, you can't go wrong with Peaches. Just prepare for some indulgence--think fat, carbs, and sweets--but trust me, you won't be disappointed.

I have been here several times. Definitely different cooks and different menus. Today I had the best salad, which was amazing. I requested the Greek yogurt on the side. The arugula was fresh and the pickled onions were great for the crunch. The beets and the dressing were light and inviting. My friend had the catfish and grits. I tasted it and it was delicious! We also had the sautéed spinach with garlic and it was perfect and not overly salty. The fried chicken was ok. Next time I will try the shrimp with my salad. The coffee was also very good. Our waiter, was Dominick. He was great He explained the food preparation and offered options. My friend was from out of town and enjoyed the dining experience as well as the background music being played.

Had such an amazing time during my first visit to Peaches! Everything was great - the service, the ambiance, and of course the food. I ordered the chicken and French toast combo and it hit the spot. What I enjoyed most about the ambiance was the music being played! The person that was sitting next to me and I were singing along to the songs - it was a vibe! Would definitely recommend Peaches but be prepared to wait - it's a popular place! As it should be :-)

    Tigui D.

Excellent experience from the food to the service! The catfish strips were out of this world SO FIRE! the grits were also unique in the way it was prepared but very good. The cornbread was the best I've had at a restaurant it was moist and balanced. I'll definitely be coming back to try other items. Great brunch food.

    Do you need a reservation?

Peaches does not take reservations unless you are trying to reserve space for a party, at which we ask that you call and ask to speak to a manager about a private event. Thank you!

Do they have brunch on Mondays or only on the weekend?

There is an all day brunch menu with brunch options every time you go in, however, there is a slightly altered brunch menu that ONLY exists on Saturday (11am-4pm) and Sunday (10am-4pm) which includes different items than the regular peaches menu…

Is this the same Peaches Hot House owner?

    yes

    Is there bottomless brunch?

    No, there's no bottomless brunch.

What's the biggest difference between this Peaches and the Hot House?

Peaches is bigger than Hothouse. They also have a bigger food selection. ??

Is it over priced I want to take my man there for a date Monday cuz we tried the pink tea cup we loved it but the prices and how the payment is set up I didn't like it?

Brunch would be your best bet so you can take advantage of bottomless mimosas but overall the prices are moderate (not cheap but not expensive either).

The waitress was super professional and gave us suggestions from the menu items. She suggested the Peaches Punch (rum and positive vibes) and she did not disappoint. Peaches Punch was sweet and citrus. My fam is southern, migrated from North Carolina to Brooklyn, so I am not a stranger to southern food. My mother was a sou cook in a small water front hotel on the intercostal waterway, so I confess I am a chair side critic of collard greens. I do not like collards simmered too sweet. I also like to add vinegar. So we ordered the fried catfish, cornbread, and collard greens. The catfish arrived seasoned and crispy. I added a dash of Texas Petes hot sauce, they seriously offer a variety of hot sauce. Love it. The collard greens were inviting, aromatic, and tender. The smell of the collards reminded me of Sunday dinner after training. Yes, it tasted old school, I greatly appreciated the southern vibe and the great southern hospitality. The main entrées were affordable and the drinks were worth every penny. This is within walking distance from my home. I will definitely return for collard greens. During a recent breakfast visit celebrating both my mother's birthday, I had a disappointing customer service experience. I would first like to recognize the young gentleman who served our table . A mexican young man. , He was professional, attentive, and courteous throughout our visit. The issue arose when I ordered a Peach Bellini that did not taste as expected. It lacked the peach flavor I had enjoyed on previous visits and tasted more like orange juice. I asked if it could be replaced with a ginger ale. My server was handling another table and zi was willing to wait. . But a women of Spanish decent light skin and heavy set approached our table and explained there were policies regarding returning something. . Rather than simply processing the substitution, she repeatedly encouraged me to keep the drink and offered to add more peach flavoring. I explained several times that I simply did not like the beverage and preferred a ginger ale instead.. I also told her I an celebrating a birthday abd do not wish to go back and forth. She tried to explain all drinks are made thd same which is not the same. She has to remember she does not just represent herself but the Peaches establishment. As a former bartender, I understand that drinks can vary, despite efforts at consistency. My concern was not the drink itself but the lengthy discussion. I felt pressured to justify a simple request during what was meant to be a special celebration Our bill exceeded $100, and as a longtime customer, I expected a more customer-focused response. If there is a formal policy regarding drink returns or exchanges, it would be helpful for it to be clearly posted. They eventually substituted it. But I should not have to goI though all that. Overall, my experiences at your restaurant have been very positive, which is why this incident stood out. The food was excellent, and our server was wonderful. I had steamed vegetables that mashed in my mouth like mashed potatoes when I took a bite. I did end up going to another spot for collard greens and potato salad because you can't have soul-food without that. I had the rib dinner with mac n cheese and yams and a tiny piece of complimentary cornbread. The ribs definitely taste amazing but they don't take off the membrane in the back which is slimy and gross. I left that part behind. The yams were sweet and good BUT.....that mac n cheese is NOT soul-food Mac n cheese. The rib dinner was a 3/5 because ribs were great but sides needed help. I had rice and peas as an additional side and fried wings. The wings were ATROCIOUS! I ate the smallest one and didn't eat the rest. How can you serve such huge feathered wings like that? It was a nightmare. The feathers being on it turned me off. This tells me they don't make their food with care, they move quick to be one and done and I want my food cooked with love and care. They were also frozen wings that were thawed and seasoned, I know the difference. The rice and peas were okay 3/5 as well. Overall the food was not worth the hype. Customer service was beautiful for sure but the food was not it.

While visiting Brooklyn and spending the afternoon at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, we were looking…read morefor a nearby restaurant and were so glad we discovered Cheryl's Global Soul. From the outside, it's easy to underestimate what awaits inside. I probably would have walked right past it had we not decided to stop in. The moment I stepped through the door, I was immediately impressed by the beautiful artwork, warm décor, and inviting atmosphere. It truly feels like one of Brooklyn's neighborhood gems. The restaurant offers several seating options, including indoor dining, an outdoor patio, and a beautifully landscaped terrace tucked beneath mature trees. We chose the back terrace, and it turned out to be one of my favorite parts of the experience. With two levels and plenty of natural shade, it felt like a peaceful escape from the city while still being full of energy. Our server was friendly, attentive, and happy to answer our questions about the menu, making it easy to decide what to order. We all decided to try one of Cheryl's signature bowls and ordered the Herb Grilled Chicken Bowl, Coconut Curry Wings Bowl, and Moroccan-Spiced Vegetable Tagine Bowl. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. The portions were generous enough that none of us finished our meals, which meant we had an equally delicious lunch waiting for us the next day. What I appreciated most was that Cheryl's delivers more than great food. Between the welcoming service, relaxing outdoor terrace, beautiful aesthetics, and diverse menu, the restaurant creates an experience that encourages you to slow down and enjoy your meal. If you're exploring Brooklyn or planning a visit to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Cheryl's Global Soul is well worth adding to your itinerary. It's the kind of neighborhood restaurant you'll be glad you discovered.

Sage recommended ginger tea, which was delicious. Sage was also very attentive to our needs and I appreciated the warm syrup that was paired with my warm pancake pancakes. (It's a pet peeve of mine when restaurants serve hot pancakes with cold butter and cold syrup, so I appreciated it the extra effort.) The staff are very friendly and attentive. Cheryl's is an absolute favorite and I hope to make it there one day for dinner as I've only gone for brunch.
