Pints, quarts of oysters.

Such a cute place. Recently went under new ownership. And the renovations to this place are amazing!! This restaurant has a warm welcoming vibe. Super friendly staff and Clean environment. The bathroom is absolutely beautiful!. The ribeye steak and cheese is Hefty, well seasoned and very cheesy! This is definitely a spot to check out if you're a seafood lover!!

My wife and I were finished with our Sunday errands and looming for a place to have lunch. We decided to drive 20 minutes out of our way to a place called Peanut's Steak and Seafood in Spotsylvania Courthouse. From the outside it's a very unassuming place. However when we walked in, we were greeted by a very friendly server. We sat at one of the relatively few tables they had. I think Peanut's might be more of a carry out place. They obviously specialized in crabs. On the wall was the Super Bowl specials, which included crabs, crawfish, frogs legs, alligator nuggets. They also had beer in the cold case to go, along with sodas. Anyway, we sat and ordered drinks. My wife wanted unsweetened ice tea, however they only had sweet tea. She had that, and reported that it wasn't overly sweet so it was fine. I had a Dr. Pepper, which came bottled. We ordered onion rings as an appetizer. They were very good, nicely breaded and hot. My wife ordered two soft shell crabs, one made into a sandwich. She loves soft shell crabs, and said that these were quite good sized and very good. I had a Ribeye Steak Sandwich, medium, with baked beans. The steak was decent, and it may have been medium rare instead of medium. However to me over-cooking is the greater sin so it was fine. We enjoyed Peanut's, and if we're in the area again, we would certainly come back.

Some of the best seafood at this spot! Wife and I were strolling along rolling down the road saw this place and passed it whipped my truck around cuz I asked if she was hungry and I was hungry too. And we both agree on trying this spot out. Glad We did. Because it was fantastic! Amazing, fried cod and grouper, mashed potato's and gravy, fried onion rings, hush puppies, abs Mac and cheese. Everything tastes so dang good and tastes like homemade too! It was excellent. We will definitely be back for sure. Thank u for such an amazing delicious experience! Also inside is kinda like a gas station with booths and tables and one bathroom, very clean and very nice staff we chose to get it Togo and eat in my truck cuz of the c19 pandemic. Received our food drove off some place decent to stop and eat and it was just yum!

All you can eat - steam crab legs and shrimp All the food is delicious. Trust you will not be disappointed.

Yes!!! Drive to Peanut's Steak and Seafood for the All-You-Can-Eat crab legs and Shrimp with hush puppies. Draft beer is $2.00 16 oz cup. All the food is good. I can not believe we gave the quality in a country town. Red Lobster, Joe's Crab Shack has nothing on Peanuts. So much more for $49.99. So far I've visited 4 times and it's consistent.

Amazing crabs!!!

Fantastic! A "must try" and one we'll visit often…read more We're in the process of moving to Fburg and decided to have a nice dinner. I looked through Yelp and picked F132 as our first meal in the new town. Great choice! We didn't have a reservation, and it was Friday at 6pm, so we were placed on the bar seating wait list. We were seated in 20-25 minutes, which was super fast and great with us. Lesson learned for next time, make a reservation. But, if you choose or wind up at the bar, the service is great and seating is comfortable. The bartender was with us quickly and walked us through the Happy Hour specials. Drinks, apps, etc. they had a good variety of things in HH and many seemed interesting. But we were there for steak, so we let him know and he took our orders. In the meantime, he got us waters and bread service. While we waited, we watched the bar staff make some amazing concoctions including smoked old fashioneds, and all manner of flavors, textures, and mixtures. I don't really do cocktails but there were egg whites, chocolate sauce, fruits, mints and great presentations. They also were serving HH food and the Happy Dog looked filling: the truffle fries were served in what looked like multi-pound platters. I had the filet with French onion soup and corn salad. My wife had filet with mashed potatoes and black eyed peas. The bartender explained sides change frequently and are selected by what is available farm fresh. The corn salad was a sort of chilled street corn with some peppers and stuff. Very good and the corn was so fresh. French onion soup was delish! Absolutely perfect. Black eyed peas were great. I didn't try the mashed potatoes. The steak was the star. I don't know what's in their house rub, but it's perfect. And the steaks are cooked under an 1800 degree broiler so they get that perfect sear. Both were cooked at the perfect temperature. And the meat was trimmed so there was nothing but butter-tender beef. Let me be clear-THIS IS THE BEST STEAK I'VE EVER HAD! The service was perfect. My glass never fell below 2/3 full, and we never were waiting on service, but it was non intrusive and really made the experience so much better. A++! Wherever you are reading this, stop what you are doing, and RUN, don't walk to Fahrenheit 132. You'll thank me later.

Soon as you walk in through the revolving door, you are greeted with a wood fire grill aroma that makes your sense of smell scream omg what is that and I'll take 2 please. There was no wait time, we were instantly seated at a small both for two. And yes the seats are comfortable. I would have loved to be seated next the the staircase because it has some nice sight lines. The restaurant is so clean and nicely decorated as if you stepped into a homey yet lux cabin restaurant. It just feels....comforting. There were a lot of people dining here but the noise level was surprisingly minimal. The service is impeccable. Every waiter was attentive. Someone even asked us if we wanted another drink when our glasses were full. Never in my life has that happen to me. Lol The server was very knowledgeable about everything and left me to decided between all the wonderful options they offer. And they have OPTIONS. I heard the steak is banging. I'll be back... Now let's talk about these Ozzie dinner rolls. Bomb! End of story. And in my Nike voice....Just do it. In other words stuff your face and get some to go. I got blessed with 2 baskests and a bag to go. Won't he do it. My son enjoyed his little Mac aka his burger and fries but was too full to finish the fries because he stuff his face with Ozzie dinner rolls. So be careful yall. You have been warned. I orderer the pecan trout which was a very interesting take on baked fish and yet it was still good. I'm not raving about it. But it was good. Nice thing is they give you to pieces of trout 1 for now and 1 for later because yes I stuffed my face with those darn Ozzie rolls. Smh I had my eyes set on that deep dish apple pie and I shall return to try it and other menu items..like that banging steak. My leftovers hit the spot. I had enough for a whole lunch the next day. Saved me extra resources. Everything tasted even better the next day. Like the seasoning settled in and exploded into deliciousness. Peoples I say this with love...Don't come here because I don't want yall taking up all the free parking spaces available. Lol this is my new go to spot.

This is a family favorite. We travel from Stafford to…read morecelebrate special occasions here. Yes, there are "trendy" restaurants downtown with a larger and rotating, seasonal, or farm-to-table menu. But Olde Towne Steak & Seafood is wonderful. The steak is always cooked to perfection, the shrimp in the Shrimp Cocktail are ENORMOUS, the stuffed mushrooms are (chef's kiss), their cocktails (especially dirty martinis) are wonderful, and their prime rib is as big as an infant's head. The interior could use a bit of an upgrade. I went there for my Senior prom in 1990 and although it is still cozy and inviting -especially fireside-the clean, classic decor could use a bit of a perking up. No minor issues like decor can obscure the wonderful service! A LOT of servers in this area consider waiting tables just a job to be done and gotten over with and customers a nuisance. Whether they truly feel it or not, the staff here present themselves as practicing their vocation. But none of this compares to the warmth and personal attention of Mrs. Hyon Harding, the owner. Mrs. Hyon always greets you like you are a welcome guest - not a dollar sign. She takes the time during each visit to personally visit each table to make sure everything is to your satisfaction and you are happy. And it is not just some token "drive by." You can tell she really does care and wants you to have a good experience. All of this beats truffle fries and Mac and cheese, rosemary mashed potatoes, and "locally foraged mushrooms" in my book and always will.

Went on a Sunday night and there maybe 5 other tables occupied, each had over 5 patrons and we had a table near the main fireplace. The atmosphere was as expected no change over the years. Room temperature was great, a bit cool for my wife but that is normal. Our sever (Callie was exceptional and very responsive to our requests) came to the table promptly and took our drink order. Water and tea, no alcohol. Delivered quickly. We also got bread, not warm and very unimpressive. Orders were placed we recovered our salads with dressing on them and I had requested it on the side, not a big issue butt the meal proceeds to go down hill rapidly from there. My salad tasted like it had been sitting out for a while (wet wilted and soggy) and the only flavor it had was the fresh cracked pepper. I honestly expected more from the salad then iceberg lettuce, 2cherry tomatoes and a couple of cucumber slices. Blue cheese dressing was only identifiable because it was what I requested. Prime rib was over cooked but the portion was as ordered. Bake potato was dry and very overdone, 3 servings of sour cream to make it editable. My wife's seafood was equally tasteless, the lobster was great but the scallops tasted funny". Had more bread during the meal cold and tasteless. The best part of the meal by far wast he dessert, chocolate cake with whipped cream and strawberries, plated beautifully. Overall a 2.0 for the meal quality was mediocre at best, desert and service would rate a 4.5 (Callie was a 5.0 as a server). And the owner manager did not come by our table but did visit all the other tables. On the way out she said how was your meal I said very underwhelming and she just glared at me. I didn't complain to keep our 36th wedding anniversary fun, but after getting in the car and driving off my wife stated that wasn't worth it we will find a new anniversary place. In my opinion we could have eaten at a big box steakhouse (T/R) 5 times and higher quality for the ($150) price.

We were seated promptly, no awkward hovering, and our waitress showed up friendly, sharp, and knowing her way around the menu--which is a quality that ought to be listed right next to "clean silverware." We started with the crab and corn chowder, and let me say this right now: the crab was not there for decoration. It announced itself. Big flavor, no apologies, the way crab chowder ought to be. Second round was the smoked salmon salad. Perfect. The salmon was excellent, but that tarragon caper dressing had a way of making you slow down and think about life choices. I would put that dressing on just about anything that didn't move fast enough. For the main event, I chose the scallops, and I am prepared to testify they were as good as any I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, sitting pretty with an aioli that knew its job and did it well. My wife ordered the beef medallions, and I'll admit this with humility: looking back, I may have chosen wrong. Those medallions were expertly prepared and packed with flavor, the kind that makes you reconsider your own plate. We finished with cheesecake and berries. The cheesecake did its part. The berries... well, not every inning is a home run. Fortunately, the wine stepped in like a good relief pitcher and made everything right again. Through it all, the service never slipped. We were treated the way folks ought to be treated when they go out to celebrate something that matters. And that, in my book, counts just as much as what's on the plate. The scallops were tender and fresh --so rare these days that we rarely order them. We chose a bottle of wine instead of wine pairings and our server helped us navigate the extensive wine list.
