It caters to all party sizes from 2 tables party to 20 tables party with specialty lazy Susan's. There are lots of parking outside the restaurant. It is located inside the Hacienda Crossings shopping center . They have a special menu with good food with special prices . Some are available Monday to Friday only . I love the crispy skin squabs and the steamed giant clams with garlic and cellophane noodles . Today we have reserved a room with 4 tables .My table have seated 11 friends . I have attached my receipt for the type of food we ordered. Each person only paid $19 ( include tax and tip ) . It was a great price for such upscale restaurant . The honey glazed Char Siu ( BBQ pork ) was tender and juicy . Stir fry beef in garlic and green onions with rice noodle are flavorful, lots of tender beef . I also like the stir fry sticky rice 生炒糯米飯。it was cooked just right , chewy and tasty . Dim sum are great : steamed beef ball with tangerine peel , steamed pork sou mei , shrimp rice roll in soy sauce , chicken feet in black bean sauce . All tasted delicious and were served very hot . The food was good. It was decent. Nothing to brag about. Dim sum restaurants today is abundant; there are 3 or 4 within 15 mins driving distance. They're all about the same quality. The service was adequate. For those who don't know, they don't operate like America restaurants where there is one assigned waiter but more of whoever is available walking around. The "runners" who bring out the food are usually not the ones who serve and help the customers. We had an upward of 5 different servers come by to refill water, bringing a fork, and chili sauce, taking away used dishes, etc. Nothing spectacularly and we didn't have any special needs. We did have a big party of 12. Servers do need to be flagged down if you need help. We ordered many dishes off their menu and one didn't make it into the order but that was fine we were real full at the end. The ridiculous thing that happened was at the end where we paid for the meal which was $375...for 12 people it's be $30 a person. I added, apparently, below appropriate amount of tip of $18. Rounding my bill to $390. I did such a horrific job of tipping that I had 2 servers, one who didn't even served us come up to me and asked if the service was ok. I replied the service was fine. Nothing was wrong. Then they proceeded to ask why then I tipped such a low amount. I found that very troubling and I asked how much should I tip? Basically, He said he doesn't know but $18 is way too low. At 18% was $60. I opted for that option because I was with a party of 12 and I didn't wanna stand there in the middle of table with other patrons about tips! This is what it has come to with tipping. Minimum service of doing your job expects a random setup % of the bill. We travel as a party of 12 or more around the states and country in the past 12 years and have seen mandatory gratuity for party over 8. And that's fine with us. Going after the customers and plead and complaint about the tip? I don't see that as a way to leave the customers wanting to come back and spend more money at this establishment in the future. Paying $375 for food is no longer enough. $60 tip for a default, minimal of service is what's required apparently. Call me a cheap but I'm not rich enough to spend my disposable income here. Chow fun was good and basic dim sum items were good. Giving 2 stars as we ordered pig intestines, however they did not clean it throughly. Very gamey and barn like flavor, couldn't even swallow the first piece. I have been eating fried pig intestine throughout my 30 years of life and I have never tasted pig intestine this gamey before. We had an amazing time here. I probably should have reviewed this place months ago, but I'm just now getting to it. Every visit is excellent food, excellent service and amazing time with friends and family. The last couple of times, I just wanted to enjoy the moment so I forgot to take pictures......but I'm sure we will be back again. Service is really nice & accommodating, but the food came out at kind of wack times. I'm going to attribute that to the fact that it was a holiday (Father's Day). We went a little crazy with our brunch order last weekend because we showed up starving! But, it gave us a chance to try a lot of different dishes :) Not every dish we ordered was a hit unfortunately. Let me start with the highlights. House Special Clay Pot Fried Rice: This was my favorite dish of the meal. The rice was cooked to perfection, not too wet and not too dry. It was just right. For the greens, they seemed to use either Asparagus or Chinese Broccoli stems (chopped), though I couldn't quite tell which. They were generous with the seafood too. It came loaded with Shrimp, Crab Meat, and other seafood, and everything tasted delicious. I'd definitely order this again. Lobster E Noodles: I enjoyed this dish overall, especially the amount of lobster they included. They definitely didn't skimp on it. That said, the noodles were a little softer than I prefer and may have been slightly overcooked. At $56, it was also almost twice the price of the Clay Pot Fried Rice, which we enjoyed way much more. Because of that, I don't think this dish was worth the price. Honey Walnut Shrimp: This one was a bit of a disappointment. The shrimp wasn't as juicy as I expected, and the sauce just wasn't as tasty as some of the Honey Walnut Shrimp dishes I've had elsewhere. I'd skip this one next time. Steamed Dim Sum Variety: We tried several items, including Pork Shumai, Shrimp Dumplings, Noodle Rolls, and a few others. Overall, everything was very good. The Pork Shumai was probably my favorite of the bunch. It was steamed perfectly and delicious. Xiao Long Bao: This was very disappointing to me. The presentation was excellent, with each dumpling served in its own small ceramic spoon, which looked really nice and cute. However, I thought the dumpling skin was a bit thicker than what I'm used to. The service was good overall. The restaurant itself looked very chic, modern, and new. My only complaint is that the tables were placed a little too close together, which made it feel somewhat cramped when seated next to other patrons. My buddy George F. and his wife invited Steve T., his wife, and I to a dim sum lunch on 10/16/2025. It was pretty busy when we walked in at around 12:30pm. The wait for a table was short. We were seated quickly at a large round table in front of the impressive live seafood tanks. The interior was very clean and nicely decorated. Aside from the aforementioned seafood tanks, the giant LED display in the back was also very eye-catching. George did most of the ordering and he got a plethora of items. Overall, I thought they were authentic and delicious. I especially loved the white pepper pork tripe, siu mai, steamed bean curd skin rolls, and pan-fried noodles with spareribs and bitter melon. They were definitely the standouts. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Some of them were Cantonese speaking only. Based on this experience, I thought this place was solid. Ordered like 10 dishes because I wanted to try this place and waited a long time. You have to wait close to the entrance to hear them because their speakers don't project outside. They will give away your table in a heartbeat so try to stay close. But they will also help you out and seat you next if they've given away your spot. All of the food I would say I've had better in Oakland or San Francisco. But it's not bad for where it's located. The salted egg yolk pumpkin didn't have that saltiness you crave. Taro puffs were not very savory or too much taro for the filling ratio. The water chestnut jello thing was sweet and crisp. I'd never had this before so it was a new experience and worth trying . Don't come here during holidays. Their kitchen isn't capable of keeping up. They didn't take any reservations under 10 people. So we couldn't make any reservation. They had a line coming out the door before they opened. So by the time the first wave of people sat down the rest has to wait for the second wave. But the kitchen seemed to be overwhelmed with the orders and they weren't able to get the orders out. So the people just sat and sat and sat. Only about 4 tables were cleared out after 1hr and 15min. Came here during the week for a late dim sum lunch around 1:30. I was surprised how extensive and colorfully photographed every item was on their paper, self check menu. Loved that! We invited some friends to join us for Dim Sum at Pearl Bay Manor. He's a bit more adventurous while she knows what she likes and is somewhat reluctant to try new things. Because of this, we tend to order even more than usual to ensure that everyone gets something that they enjoy eating. Our arrival was a bit earlier than expected. We had planned for lunch at 1pm and we arrived at 12:38. There were about 24 people waiting to be seated and I got a number. Timing would be close. Our number was called at 12:45 and our friends hadn't arrived yet. I told the hostess so and we continued to wait. At 12:51, the hostess insisted that we take a table, so we did. Our friends arrived a little bit later to join us. We had already marked what we wanted on the Dim Sum Menu. We offered the menu to our friends. She ordered some familiar items, and he said that he would go with whatever we ordered. When the food started coming out, it was in a rush. We didn't have nearly enough room on the table. When our friends had arrived, the hostess offered to move us from the 4-top rectangle to a 6-top round, but then we'd all have a difficult time hearing conversations. Our item count was 12 dishes, 2 large and the rest small. Divided evenly by four people, that's only three dishes per person. Yet, we still ended up with plenty of leftovers. No complaints here! You can look at my pictures to see what all we ordered. I did fail to take a picture of the Minced Pork w/ Japanese Tofu in Chile Garlic Sauce. We gave that dish a score of 3. It was okay but we've had juicier and more robust versions elsewhere. Everything that was supposed to be hot came out hot and everything that was supposed to be cold came out cold. Some hot items became cold because we weren't eating as fast as they arrived. As pictured on their menu, some Dim Sum items come with three pieces. The servers always asked us if we'd like those items cut in half. We did. Some of the flavors weren't quite what we expected. The Jellyfish Salad was somewhat bland. It was missing any pickled veggies, vinegar and sesame seeds that add so much flavor and texture. The Seaweed Salad was also weak. Both were fresh and plentiful, just not standouts. There was a card on the table that showed Shui Mai for $4.88. That was a great deal. On the menu, they're listed as a M-Plate or $8.75. I remember when I was about 15 and could buy them in Chinatown, 2 for 25-cents. Fifty plus years does make a difference! Before our meal started, we got the hot tea that I like with Dim Sum. It's called Gook Bo, a fragrant blend of Gook Fa (Chrysanthemum) and Bo Lee (aka Pu'Er). Additionally, we asked for two forks, four ice waters and saucers of hot oil, Chinese hot mustard and soy sauce. During the meal, I also asked for extra napkins. Don't buy roast duck to go if they cut it for you! If you have to order roast duck to go, buy it as a whole duck and do not let them cut it for you. I ordered a whole roast duck to go today at 5:05 p.m. and asked them to cut it in half, with each half packed in a separate box. What I received was definitely not a whole duck. One box looked like it was made up of leftover pieces from earlier in the day, while the other box looked slightly better. The total weight of both boxes combined was only 2 pounds. One box contained 17 pieces and the other 16 pieces, but one of the boxes clearly looked like they had taken random leftover pieces and tried to reassemble them to resemble half a duck. This was very disappointing and felt misleading. If you're ordering takeout, I strongly recommend asking for the duck to remain whole so you can be sure you're actually getting the entire duck you paid for. read more

First time trying out Pearl Bay Manor back in February. Did a dinner meet up on a Friday with my friends. When I arrived 10 mins before the music was loud and the tables all had numbers for a banquet. For people who wanted to dine in they take you to another area where you have to walk through the main area to get there. Unfortunately they didn't serve any dim sum during dinner but they did have a small selection on their menu for appetizer. All three us originally planned to order the same dish. When our server came she was like you want the same dishes so we decided change it up. With what we ordered, it looks like we had a feast with just the three of us. My friend Flora ended up ordering all the dishes for us since Maggie and I don't really know what's good to order. For starters we started with the Westlake minced beef soup. For the main dishes we ordered the sautéed Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce, house special clay pot fried rice, turbot fish and peking duck half (Flora gave me and Maggie a demonstration on how to eat this dish). Flora wasn't sure if we were going to like the food she picked but each dish turned out to be really delicious. The highlight for me would have to be the Westlake soup and the clay pot fried rice. As we were looking at the receipt I did notice that they charged us twice for the turbot fish. It was super pricy! $46.99 for just for 1 fish. We only asked for one dish but somehow ended up with 2 fishes on the plate but they didn't tell us. I guess they thought one fish would not be enough for the three of us. Honestly shocked by how unique some of the menu items are here! I absolutely loved the classic Panfried Noodle Rolled in XO Sauce and Crispy Pork Macau Style. My personal favorites! The Panfried Water Chestnut Cake was SO GOOD. A fan favorite! Sweet, jelly-like, and crunchy. I've never had a dish like it. I highly recommend if you're feeling adventurous. I was impressed by the Litchi Shrimp Balls! So juicy and slightly sweet. The puffed rice exterior was satisfying, and the center was cooked perfectly. Plus, there's a canned lychee in the middle! DINNER Got seated without menus. Had to wait to get menus. Then wait again to order. Pretty much at least 30 mins past reservation time and then another 30 mins to finally order. It's been a while so I don't exactly remember the names of the items we ordered. But some things were not good (spare ribs), honey walnut shrimp (we ordered two orders of this, and it was very skimpy, the shrimp wasn't crispy, the rice noodles was so soggy). DIM SUM Everything tasted good. Sticky rice in lotus leaf stood out. It had a very generous amount of salted egg yolk through out. Can skip the fried squid, very underwhelming. We initially didn't know how many people would be coming, but our friends had made a loose reservation so they had some tables available. - PARKING - Lots of parking in this plaza! Came here for dim sum with my mom. The food was decent, and the service was good. There were also more dim sum options compared to Koi, although the prices were just as high as Koi Palace. One thing that really bothered me was the cleanliness. I have a habit of wiping my chopsticks with a napkin before eating, and I'm glad I did this time. After wiping them, I could clearly see black stains on the napkin, which was pretty disgusting and made me question how well the utensils were being cleaned. After our meal, we walked past the back of the restaurant on the way to our car. I assume it's the area where the staff take out the trash. The food was good but the service was a bit slow. We ordered Chrysanthemum and Jasmine Tea but only received the Jasmine. When we reminded them that we also ordered Chrysanthemum, it took an extra 10-15 minutes to get to the table. Also on order was the Pork Belly, and it never made it to the table. Normally when soup is on order, they bring the soup bowls in preparation but it was done backwards. They brought the soup to the table, then brought the soup bowls, left the soup bowls on the table, and walked away. In my past experience, the server would serve the soup into the bowls, and leave them on the lazy susan so individuals could grab their own bowls. Peking Duck generally comes with crispy skin, but not here. When we asked about it, they said that this is how they make their Peking Duck. So, if you like crispy skin, this is not the place to get it. Eggplant dish was interesting but very good with plenty of garlic. I have never had eggplant served without the skin. I did not recognize at 1st because it was all white. A dish that I have never had before as an entree is the steamed eggs with Clams. Unusual but very tasty. If you like the texture of steamed eggs, then this will be the one to try. I usually don't eat fried pork ribs because it is usually to greasy or to thick of a coating, but I was surprised. First time visit on a Sunday morning, 11:00am, with a 30 min wait. Our party of six was seated within 15 min. The restaurant had high ceilings, good air ventilation and very clean. Service staff was tentative, courteous, friendly, and came around to make sure our teapot was filled and clearing our used dishes. Loved that the wait staff packed up the leftovers at our table. Very generous with the takeout boxes to pack and made it presentable for another meal at home. Dim sum came out quickly, piping hot and fresh. Nothing fancy but just good food. We did ordered the pineapple pork baked bun but had to canceled the order. It took a long time to bake and we were already full. A new Chinese restaurant in the Tri-Valley is always exciting! Pearl Bay Manor is in the busy Regal movie theater plaza in Dublin and I feel like it's brought a lot of life into this plaza. We made a reservation for four for Sunday night. It's your classic higher end Chinese banquet spot with tall ceilings, bright lighting, and the iconic giant screen with pictures of their various dishes. Beef tenderloin, scallops, and nuts with BBQ black pepper sauce: so delicious and the beef was super tender. Very well cooked with amazing flavor - the asparagus was perfectly crisp, macadamia nuts were fresh, and all the different components went very well together. Minced beef and vermicelli with shacha sauce in clay pot: Great flavor! Fragrant and came out piping hot. Walnut shrimp with salad dressing: classic honey walnut shrimp. Freshly fried, crunchy walnuts, very tasty. Stuffed mushrooms with egg tofu: solid dish. Maybe the least memorable of the four we ordered but still yummy! Always love when the meal comes with peanuts to start and the sweet dessert soup to end. While this place is on the pricier side, I'd have to say flavor wise this is the best Chinese restaurant in the Tri-Valley. Each dish was a hit with the table. I'll definitely be back! read more

So so good here! They opened recently and what a great spot for dim sum! We arrived on a Thursday at about 11:30. Plenty of parking out front. Super easy on a weekday. We were seated right away. Just the 2 of us and we sat at a huge table for 6. I didn't see any 2 tops. It's super nice inside. It's huge, with lots of seafood tanks lining a wall, big huge chandeliers, and a huge tv screen that reminds me of the Vegas casinos. It's kind of loud, the interior lacks noise absorbing finishes but I don't think people go out for dim sum for that ambiance. Service was terrific for our lunch. They came over for our tea order right away. To order, you go through the menu and fill it out. It was super simple and very direct. We had a little of everything: -Porridge with pork, mountain yam and corn $16.99 -Garlic and pea sprout dumplings $9.75 -Veggie and pork in tofu skin $8.75 -Deep fried pork dumplings $8.75 (shaped like pears!) -Green beans with pork and cabbage $14.75 -Buns with custard filling $8.25 (shaped like pigs) Everything was delicious! This is definitely my go-to for dim sum for now on. Yes, it's pricier than most of the dim sum restaurants I've been too but the quality is much better here. In comparison to my Koi Palace, which is around the block, the exact order from both places is a difference of about $30-$35 which is higher at Pearl Bay. I do like Koi Palace for different reasons such as their attentive waiters, automatic chili oil and mustard, they have shrimp AND pork siu mai, and the food comes out a bit quicker. I also love that Koi Palace automatically adds the gratuity which makes it easier. Our dim sum dishes were so delicious this morning. We thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp and chive dumpling which was tender and had a nice pan fry on the bottom. It also has huge shrimp inside which was a plus. We also loved their soup dumpling; these were thick and had a tasty broth which sticks out from other XLBs. I thought their crispy tofu was phenomenal with the tiny garlic crisps, soy chow mein was fresh and has a nice wok taste, etc. Luckily, my wife and I were full from all the dishes we ordered but I will say, they forgot our garlic spare ribs and shrimp in rice noodle dish; we saved money from two additional dishes that we could've paid for. Nonetheless, the employees overlooked our orders which was surprising and a bit shocking. I feel like they could do better with having soy sauce and all the other condiments on the table because it gets busy here so why not make it easy instead of people calling left and right for these things. It's a waste of time and not efficient. We waited for minutes to get attention which sucked at times because we needed water refills and other things. I just felt bad for them when people gave them 1 star for other reasons but not even for food or the bad service... Anywho, my first experience here we ordered takeaway and everything tasted good, no msg side effect lol so we think we wanna dine in some time. I had a chance to go there for brunch and the resto was packed yet the service was quick and everyone was so friendly. All dim sum we ordered came hot and delicious. Except for Xiao Long Bao, they can't beat Din Tai Fong yet lol anw jk, it's not their specialty apparently. They have so many selection of dim sum and main dishes that hard to find from other places, and I crave to try next time! Don't judge Chinese resto by its Yelp stars! Lol read more

Came here with a group of 5, waited around 20 minutes on a Sunday morning. The venue is quite large so not too long a wait. The food was delicious! The spareribs were great with the sauce and the fried shrimp wontons were crispy and savory. The service was also really good, giving us sauces and refilling tea often. The one con is that they charge $1 for hot water, which is a little unexpected. read more
