In the past, I have found that getting an eye exam and choosing glasses is such an unpleasant experience that I I have put off getting new glasses for over three years! My experience today at Pearle Vision (near Lenox) changed my attitude about getting new eye wear. The entire Pearle staff was professional and friendly. The people who got me through the exam (techs, reception, eye doc) were efficient and professional. The doctor was young, but very competent and answered all my questions. Then, the dreaded part of the visit started - picking out frames! I worried for no reason. Sandy handled my transaction and was so warm and genuine during the entire process. I needed three sets of glasses, including prescription sunglasses, so it was kind of complicated. She walked me through the whole process, gave me spot-on estimates and clearly explained all of the charges associated with my selections so there were NO surprises when it came time to pay. When I was having trouble selecting frames (which I HATE doing and can be a bit cranky about) Sandy asked another staff member, Jonathon, to help. He picked out several frames for me to try. ALL of them looked great and I never would have picked them out myself. He also took into consideration practical considerations based on when and how I would be using the glasses. But, his since of style was fantastic! There were many other amenities that made the experience pleasant - I was offered cold bottled water, chocolate, a new glass case for my old frames, spray cleaner to take home -- but, what really set Pearle apart for me was the genuine kindness and enthusiasm shown by EVERY single person with whom I interacted. The selection of frames was outstanding - lots of great designer and basic options -- and one reason I had a really difficult time picking out frames myself. Also - free lot with plenty of spaces. Sooooo......Pearle Vision exceeded my expectations in every way imaginable. The customer service was excellent. My appointment started on time. I was there approximately 1.5 hours; this includes picking out new frames and deciding on lenses for my old frames. Dr. Vaishnav was professional and knowledgeable. She cares for the whole patient. Holistic care is always a plus. Her assistant was also great. She greeted me on arrival, with a beautiful smile and spirit. She's destined for great things! Following my thorough exam, the real fun started. Who says eyeglass shopping isn't funtabulous?!&! Let's just say, It Can Be! I'm really picky, indecisive, and somewhat difficult to please at times. My optician, Heidi Neves, knew just how to handle my character flaws. She made my experience EVERYTHING! I looked for a few minutes for the perfect sunglasses, but just couldn't find any that I loved except 1 pair, that weren't covered by my insurance. Heidi took the time to walk around the center with me, helping me to try on several frames. I'd almost decided to just settle for the pair that I liked, bc I really didn't want to get on Heidi's nerves. Lol! At that moment, Heidi points to the hottest designer prescription sunglasses you can envision. I jumped for joy and hugged her loudly. She then worked her magic to meet my needs. I also ordered new lenses for my existing frames. I really like my old frames. Heidi did not pressure or rush me at all. This Location tends to have the BEST EVER Doctors ( Dr. White, Dr. Harold and now Dr. Patel ) I BADLY injured my right eye and could not see...Dr. Patel is a caring and kind Ophthalmologist who went beyond the call of duty to make sure I got the utmost care/treatments until my vision was 100% ....Dr. Patel is definitely a dedicated brilliant genius Ophthalmologist! Dr. Patel even called several times between my many follow up visits to check on my eye....such was PRICELESS to know your doctor took precious time out of his very busy schedule to CARE!!! I have been a LensCrafters patron for years. They were unable to give me an optometry appt for several weeks (that worked with my crazy schedule) so,,, Pearle at this location had an opening and I booked it expecting only to see the doctor and then go to LensC,,, for my glasses. Well, Dr. Hirem Patel was/is excellent. He not only gave me a thorough exam, but he took the opportunity to teach me about what was happening with my eyes. He was professional all the way, as well as being friendly. The associates, while I was waiting, greeted me, and let me look at the frames without any pressure. James is who I worked with, and he's wonderful! He's got a great sense of humor, juggled me and several other customers with grace and respect for our time, and he just plain made my experience at Pearle a total win. The other associates were helpful, too, with looking at frames. What I'm saying, in an extremely verbose way, is that the Pearle Vision on Lenox Road is the real deal. While staying at the Marriott Buckhead on business, I woke up at 2:30am...only to discover that I had fallen asleep on my glasses, effectively destroying them. I'm essentially blind without them and had an afternoon flight to catch. Pearle Vision in Buckhead opened at 10am and I was there at 10:01am...where Optician Heidi Neves greeted me and confirmed my diagnosis: my glasses were history. I explained my predicament to Heidi who quickly went to work. Within minutes she had selected a frame, found the proper lenses...and two hours later, my new glasses were ready to go! I can only use them for distance, but that's more than enough to get me to my next stop. I have rarely seen service like this in my hometown of Miami and I can't thank Heidi enough! She was a savior...and to someone who doesn't even live in Atlanta. She did such a professional job, I may have my next set of glasses made here on my next trip to Atlanta...and use Pearle Vision in Buckhead as my go-to choice for all of my optical needs! read more

I was looking for a doctor/facility in my network, I didn't pay attention to the address until I was ready for the appointment. It ended up being located more than an hour from my home. But I really needed to see a doctor today. The same day appointment was very much appreciated and they responded immediately. I called after 12 noon and was given a 4pm appointment. From the phone call to the receptionists, to the doctor I was so very pleasantly satisfied with my visit. All of the young people there were courteous, professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. I was especially impressed with both Rimsha and Courtney. Both young ladies were patient and helpful in assisting me with my paperwork, always with a smile. The doctor, Dr. Rahn could not have been more accommodating and obliging. All in all this made it a very pleasant and positive visit for me. I will gladly drive the hour to their office and the hour and a half back. It was a perfect way to end an otherwise hectic and stressful day. read more

I have been throwing all kinds of shade! I wear and need glasses to see. I have lost my glasses and hoped and hoped they would turn up. In the interim, I have been wearing my prescription sunglasses. I recently visited this location and my experience was amazing! I needed glasses or contacts ASAP for work and was a bit stressed about getting my glasses in time. Well, the doctor suggested I try contact lenses while I wait for my glasses. The doctor sat down with me in personal consultant and tried all she could to help me adjust to the contacts but it just didnt work well for me. I came in a 2nd day to try my contact and my eyes would not allow me to adjust to the contact although the doctor took her time to help me. I figured out that the contacts were not going to work out for me so my glasses were my only option. Well, the doctor and staff worked to get my glasses finished in one hour!! Yes.. one hour. I was so impressed with the service and staff of this location, I had to comment and let everyone know this place along with the friendly staff are absolutely awesome!! I had been putting off choosing frames because I really did not know what I wanted and felt a little overwhelmed at the thought of having to choose frames on my own, but then I met Sandy and all my worries went away. I knew she was an expert within two minutes because she kept choosing frames for me to try on, and they all fit so well. I even jokingly told her, "I can tell you've done this a time or two." Together, we picked out about 25 pairs, and then she very patiently and knowledgeably assisted me through the process of elimination to choose the perfect pair for me. Sandy was also very helpful with the price breakdown of the frames, lenses, and various add-ons so that I could decide what was best for my eyes as well as my wallet. This is the second year in a row that this place has blown my mind! I live in Bethlehem, GA (near Athens) but travel to this location b/c they are awesome. This year I was assisted by Sandy Brinson and this young lady is bomb! She is super stylish, which helped with me trusting her opinion when picking my glasses. The reasoning she used to pick the glasses we did made so much sense and it impressed me. I have made my appointment for next year. Even the other staff was helpful in assisting me pick the right pair. They were so helpful it was startling b/c customer service is almost unheard of now. I should've known I would a great experience here b/c that's why I went back but I had forgotten. They worked well with each other and that translated in them all being helpful when it came to me. These guys rock!! First time customer here and fairly new to using corrective lens. The staff here is friendly and helpful. Thank you Sandy for a great experience. Not only did I walk out with just an eye exam but also with a pair of frames I really like. I didn't feel like she was just trying to make a sell, but really wanted to make sure I was completely happy with my choice, which took me about 30 min or more to find. She was more than patient with me. She took the time to explain all the features I could have put in my lenses and their use; which like I said I'm new to this so the info was helpful. I ask a lot of questions when I dont know something so this was a plus. I was given about 5 days wait for my new glasses to be ready, but they were available for pick up in 2 days; which was another plus. It's safe to say I found my new place for eyewear. I had been putting off going and getting glasses for the longest. So I finally go get my eye exam and take the prescription to Pearle on Lenox Rd (they also do onsite eye exams). I was greeted by Sandy who had the biggest smile and really made me feel at ease with picking out some frames. She gave me her opinion on frames that looked nice on me and fit my face. I really needed help with that and she was absolutely on point. I ended up going with some Persol frames. I have an event on Thursday so I really wanted to have my glasses back asap. She said she wood do her best but didn't make any promises. Needless to say a few hours later my glasses were ready! I had to change insurance recently including vision care. I had a couple of options but decided on Pearle Vision because it's near my neighborhood. I couldn't have made a better decision. I worked in customer service for many years so I know what exceptional service looks like. Also because of that, I understand the significance of taking time to write a customer review. On a scale of 1-5 stars, I give this branch 6 stars. They went above and beyond. It's great to receive that kind of service, refreshing even. The front desk was professional and friendly. I ABSOLUTELY recommend this Pearle Vision! The staff is wonderful and has helped me out tremendously. I ordered new lenses for my glasses, but when they came in I could barely see out of them. It turned out my previous doctor (not from Pearle Vision) had given me the incorrect prescription. Unfortunately, I had already used my benefits for the next 2 year period. I left the office extremely stressed out, but Ali in the eyewear department gave me a call a day later telling me he has convinced my insurance lab to re-do my lenses with the correct prescription FREE of charge.....this DEFINITELY does not happen at most offices. We were out of town and our daughter's nose pad broke and scratched her face down to her lip. We removed the pieces left but needed to get this repaired and it was a Sunday. We decided to try Pearle Vision in hopes they could help us. We were greeted upon entry into the store, we stated the reason for our visit. All we were asked was to sign a waiver since the glasses were not originally purchased there. Of course we had no issue signing this, as long as they could help us with our daughter's glasses. They went above and beyond. They replaced both nose pads, adjusted the wire frames back to the original shape and cleaned them spotless. My experience at Pearl Vision was absolutely amazing! I needed a new pair of glasses immediately since I had recently broken my previous pair. Employee Sandy went above and beyond to receive my prescription from the appropriate place and get started on the process. I was able to get my prescription glasses the SAME day! Usually it takes a few days before a place can obtain my lenses. The convenience that was afforded to me was greatly appreciated. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. To make things even better, Sandy actually called and met me at a location that was closer to my house (since I lived a ways out from this pearl location) when my glasses were ready. I honestly can't remember WHEN I last had such a pleasant customer service experience. Heidi Neves helped me pick out some frames, and was very patient while I tried them all on. She is thorough and really takes care of her customers. While I was at the store, I noticed that all other sales staff also have very strong customer service skills. Misha Baylor at the Lenox Mall location assisted us on our eye wear journey and was the service was excellent and a fun time! Not only was it a good experience picking out glasses for the first time, but she put up with all of our antics and seemed to be having just as much fun as we were!
