I brought in my glasses that I don't like and sunglasses as an example of what fits great, since I wanted to be comfortable sitting at the computer for long periods of time. I was hoping for a conversation about similar options for bi-weekly contacts for people with astigmatism, since it's a new condition for me, but nope. I was hoping the lady could help me with my face measurements or tell me what a good option would be for the bridge piece that I could explore so they don't always slide off, but nope. I felt like a nuisance and stopped talking after the conversation just seemed to be a whole lot of "I don't know" and "I don't order online." Super disappointed and I'll take my chances with somewhere cheaper, since I didn't care about the cost at Target Optical. I just wanted help! The staff are very friendly and professional and managed to work us in with in 45 min. The Dr provided a thorough and complete eye exam and set him up to try the contacts. The staff were very patient in teaching my husband how to care for the lens, remove and insert. I mean very patient. We were extremely pleased with our experience. The costs were very competitive.

We got another appointment but kept having to reschedule because I have a special needs child. When I tried to set another appointment to get the actual prescription I should have gotten on the first try, they said I owe a fee for the cancelled appointments AND I have to pay for another appointment where I may or may not get the prescription again. Don't go there, they make you pay extra one way or another. They make you wait at least 30 minutes after your appointment time. They shove another sales opportunity at you with the eye therapy... conveniently not covered by insurance.

I had PanOptix placed in my eye Feb 7th, 2020. This lens did not work for me, I did have 20/20 vision, but the rings and halos ruined my night vision and I was in great distress. The surgeon that placed it in my eye would not remove it. I was running out of time as I was almost 5 months post op from PanOptix and this lens needed to get removed quickly if it were going to be successfully removed and replaced with a Crystalens. I began my search for a doctor that would replace the lens and give me back my beautiful night vision. Dr. Mahootchi listened to me, heard my despair and told me I didn't have to live like this and that he would do a lens exchange for me. Because I felt so confident in him through reading of his experience and all his wonderful reviews on many forums I decided to take the trip across the country, even during a pandemic and see him! I said yes, because everyone is busy. Then after 10-15 minutes I hung up. I found out, after visiting the office, that Sage had put me on hold, then went to the bathroom. The business appears to have changed ownership and now is part of New Tampa Eye Institute, but at last contact, they did not even have a sign with their new name -- this review was left with the old name because the internet and searches using their new name failed to find them. 6. The eye exam was pleasurable and was a great experience. The staff is very helpful as well. The selection of glasses is not the typical styles you think of going to a doc office. They have all different from classic to trendy and from lower end pricing to higher including name brands like Ray Ban, coach, Tory Burch, MK and even Tom Ford. I was interested to learn the VSP cover more than half of these designer frames cost! Win win! My Glasses were in before the week was up and I was on my way. I had to go back a few days after receiving glasses to adjust as they were slipping. Called the staff and said no problem come in and we'll take care of it. Just excellent. No problems at all. A+++

When you walk in, there is a check-in process to put you in the queue for a sales assistant to help you. When I purchased glasses the first time, I waited maybe 10-15 min and browsed the different options throughout the store. The sales associate was helpful in helping me pick out glasses and gave an opinion along the way. No issue processing an out of network claim and they provided all the necessary paperwork. When I returned to pick up the glasses, the optician was helpful and properly adjusted my glasses. A few months later, the frame felt a bit off after a long trip abroad of throwing the glasses in a backpack (inside a case) and went in for an adjustment. I waited maybe 2 min in the same queue process and was helped immediately. The optician fixes the frame, balanced it properly and checked that it sat well on my face. I was happy and in and out of the store in 10-15 min. The store is clean and they've expanded their options and have a bigger sunglasses selection as well. Would definitely come back for new glasses when I need them...
