I had a flat bicycle tire and needed a quick and affordable fix. I searched online and called several bike shops and they had the best price and also they open hours earlier than any other bike shop. They were easy to find and had lots of parking. They just opened summer of 2018 but had a lot in stock. The crew is extremely friendly and informative. They gave me great tips on removing the rust off my bike and they didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary services or gear. They don't just do maintenance and repairs; they also sell higher end bikes. There is a biking trail near by which makes this place a great stop for energy bars, water, repairs, maintenance, or to buy your next bike. The owner, Robert, just went above and beyond to make sure I received great service, and I couldn't be more appreciative, especially since I've never taken any bikes in for service before. The owner is a firefighter and also bikes regularly, so he's knowledgeable with bikes and trustworthy. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Definitely recommend this place to everyone. read more

I'm so glad I found Pedal Barn! After getting back into biking during COVID, I was looking to upgrade my 13-year-old hardtail mountain bike. Cindy was very helpful in explaining my options and ultimately ordering the perfect bike for me. Despite severe shortages, my bike arrived sooner than expected. Cindy closely monitored the shipping schedule with the manufacturer and kept me updated the whole time. Mike has been awesome in keeping the bike running smoothly and answering my mechanical and maintenance questions. Plus, their turnaround times are incredible. Despite being super busy, I always feel like a priority at the shop. Before I purchased my new bike (and knew about Pedal Barn), I waited a month for a basic tune-up. Just the other week, I had a problem with my dropper post. They got me back on the trail the next day. If it was a more serious problem, they were ready to replace it under warranty. I'm not sure if I reviewed this place yet, but if I did, it deserves another 5 stars. Have been recommending all my friends to give them a try. They all love the service they provide. They have been extremely busy during COVID but they still make some time to squeeze me in for something small during walk ins. Mike is very knowledgeable and can diagnose problems very quickly. Saves me time for things I can't resolve on my own. Answers all the questions I have. Thats a plus to get me back on the trails. Became the guy they know me as the person who breaks pawls on hubs. Cindy was nice to hold me a wheel cardboard box so I can ship my wheel to manufacture on a day they were closed. Appreciate the time to answer my call and wait for me on a day your closed and not accepting walk ins. Worth 20 minute drive from home to get the best service. This place is great! I went into this shop to get a solid opinion on my front shock. I am so glad I did! Everyone was super helpful and friendly... Not your typical bike shop "holier than thou" attitude. I immediately felt like I was invited into a family. My shock was shot and I expected that. What I didn't expect was that it would be rebuilt in house without having to be sent to the manufacturer! Before, when my shock was bad, I felt like my bike was all over the place and I blamed it on the narrower tire I put up front, BUT after the service, I got a PR down this section I've had so much trouble on and I wasn't even trying! So I generally never write reviews good or bad but I figured this one was worthy due to the level of service. I wanted to support this small local shop so I figured I'd give them a try for the first time. I dropped a wheel off at the shop to have it rebuilt. Everyone was nice and willing to help. They suggested it would take 2 weeks because they had to order the spokes and such. Ok no problem. I called after two weeks and spoke with Mike. He suggested the spokes were on order and he was going to check on them and call me back the same day. I received no call back. I gave it another week. Called and spoke to Mike again. He replied, "I think that is the best plan since we do not know when we can get the spokes or time to do it." I walked into the shop and asked for Mike. He was sitting down working on a bike. Without even getting up or turning around to look at me he said, "your wheel is up front." I grabbed it and walked out. I took the wheel to Jax Bikes and had it back in 3 days. Everyone here is super knowledgeable and friendly. They have an awesome selection of bikes for all my future purchases and a great community of events that I haven't checked out personally, yet. I was driving home through the canyon and needed one more item for a friends Tandem that I was fixing up. I met the owner Robert, his lovely wife and daughter and one of their employees Mike. I was greeted warmly and could tell right away that this was a place that takes care of it's customers! I needed a 5.00 part but was treated like I spent thousands of dollars on a bike! Robert actually went above and beyond modifying the part to my exact needs and didn't even charge me anything extra! I can't speak highly enough about this bike shop or it's staff/owner! I've been driving through the canyon always seeing the signage but not knowing anything about the shop. If I could give them 10 stars I would! They stock a vast array of many bike brands and everything from entry level bikes to very high end bikes both mountain and road bikes. They also have quite a bit of electric bikes for sale at several different price points. The shop is fairly close to Chino hills park and one thing I thought was very cool is out in front of their store they have a full set of common tools tied up to a post and bike stand so if you're riding by and break down you can go there literally 24 hours a day and fix your bike!
