Wurst Burrito with scrambled eggs and Italian sausage.

Ordered though door dash at Dog Hous Northridge. Got two burritos the Wurst Burrito with scrambled eggs and Italian sausage and the Bronco Burrito also with scrambled eggs. I like jalapenos but the Bronco Burrito had so many pickled jalapenos in it that it completely overtook the taste of everything else and we had to take a lot out. Wurst was definitely better.

I normally go to this spot for a good breakfast burrito, but this time they screwed up my whole order. I ordered over the phone and asked for the hangover burrito, they even asked if I wanted sunny side up or scrambled eggs, I asked for sunny side up. When I got there to pick up, they told me this was my order for the hangover, but they were calling it the borracho burrito on the ticket, which means hungover in Spanish. As I got home, my burrito is a completely different burrito. This burrito contains sausage and onions, and the eggs were scrambled. I was completely disappointed during this visit.

I had high expectations on this burrito...but it failed. Don't be fooled by the photos. Sunny side up is an add on..

Wow wow wow!!! I was blown away by the Haus Burritto. I have to say, I was a bit skeptical about having a breakfast burrito. Usually, they all sort of taste the same...with the same salsa inside...Boring! Boy am I glad I stopped by here after the break in the heavy rainfall on a Saturday morning. 3 sunny side up eggs, smoked bacon, white american cheese, crispy tater tots, caramelized onions, spicy mayo; sides of spicy mayo & hot sauce. What a bad ass delite. I'm telling you guys, I didn't need any hot sauce to hide the typical blasé breakfast burrito. To top it off, instead of coffee, I ended up ordering a michelada! It really hit the spot. I'm usually a waffles, eggs, and coffee kind of guy. So, this was an unexpected treat. And I can't wait for the next visit soon! I recommend you do the same. PS. The workers are really nice.

What a concept, Dog Haus is a ghost kitchen to a half dozen other niche restaurants. Want a breakfast burrito from Bad Ass? Go to Dog Haus! Want chicken? Dog Haus! Sliders, hot dogs, etc. Dog Haus! My burrito was stuffed full of meat, eggs, cheese and tots with spicy Mayo that added the perfect amount of kick. You can get your eggs either scrambled or sunny side up. Prices were reasonable. The dining area clean and tidy, and the counter staff was friendly and helpful. I'll be back!

Mmmm. Burrito. Great place to get that breakfast burrito fix. For me, a little too much sauce, but that's really a preference.

Located across the Topanga Mall and next door to America's Tire Co, I would totally have missed this except I was looking for something different to try and lo and behold Bad Ass Burritos inside Dog Haus. That's a surprising combo. What got me were the combos. Bacon, Tater Tots, 3 sunny side up eggs, cheese, onions and sauce. $10.99. This one was for my boys so I left out the spicy mayo. They devoured this monster burrito. So good. The Fonz. $14.99. Pastrami, Taters, Eggs sunny side up, cheese and spicy mayo. Wow. That was gooooood. I shared mine because each half is hefty. We stuffed some greens into each bite to feel better about ourselves and that was an excellent fresh add if you're eating at home. Also got a side of fried. Not the healthiest but one of the tasties. Lots of space inside with giant benches and tables and even games (connect 4, exploding kitty, jenga) to play to pass the time. Plenty of tv screens too. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Ask the Community - Bad - Ass Breakfast Burritos

Any chance of offering breakfast burritos with "JustEgg" (vegan egg product) in the future?

Just call in the order. Everything is made fresh. I'm sure they'll accommodate

Hi can you make the burrito a bowl option with no tortilla?

Hi Cynthia, we unfortunately do not offer burrito bowls as a regular option. We can only do it as a special request if you call (818) 340-4287 or ask our cashier when ordering.

LOVED your burritos when a friend picked some up for a meeting! Can we order them dine-in at Dog Haus? If so, do you serve them all day, or only in the morning? Thank you!

Hi Lissa! Absolutely. You can order in store all day, Open - Close and of course Dine-In! We have a Dog Haus Breakfast Burrito menu right above our cashier station when you walk in and our team can walk you through the choices. We even do Boozy…

Do they have non pork burrito options? Steak?

Hi Laila, happy to help! We have three vegetarian breakfast burritos that come with vegetarian protein substitutes like a veg Hot Italian, Bratwurst, and Breakfast Sausage. We currently do not offer a steak choice, however we do have a Beef Chorizo…

Hi Nima, Wondering if there is there an option for the shell other than the tortilla, a gluten free option like a cheese wrap some places do?

Hi John, sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately, we do not have a gluten-free option for our burritos. We are actively looking for a solution and hope to find one in the near future.

Can you get the burrito with scrambled eggs instead of sunny side?

Yes, you can grab any burrito with scrambled eggs. Just ask a cashier or request it under special comments on your favorite takeout/delivery app.

Would be really nice if you could include a menu on here. Photos without descriptions isn't too helpful. Do you have a menu you can post?

Hi Susie, there is a menu link and website link within the Yelp profile. For some reason, Yelp keeps bumping it in and out. We are actively working with them to manage this. Sorry for the confusion and we appreciate you bringing this to our…

    Can you order inside?

Hi Ken, Bad - Ass Breakfast Burritos is primarily takeout and delivery but the menu is available…

How much is the average breakfast burrito here?

Hi Mike! The breakfast burritos range from $8.99 - $13.49 when ordering through a delivery app. If you order in store, it is a slightly better deal. Let us know if you have any other questions! We look forward to serving you!

This is more upscale, almost fine dining Filipino food. Something I have never experienced before. We were very intrigued and were excited to try the food. If you're looking for a carinderia or turo-turo taste, this ain't it so don't come expecting that. Menu is not extensive, which is what we like. I have a hard time at Cheesecake Factory and that just stresses me out. I feel like their food menu is compact, thoughtfully created, and appealing. We had a very difficult time not ordering the entire menu. So we ended up eating almost half of it. Drinks menu was also very innovative and the drinks were STRONG. I also appreciate that they have non-alcoholic versions of some of their drinks. I wasn't indulging that day so Hubby and I were able to sample one of each type. Calamansi Mojito ($20) for him and Ube Horchata ($14) for me. As for what we ate: Manila Mais ($18) - 2.5/5 stars - It was, okay. Filipino-ized version of Mexican elote, corn-ribs style. Though it had Filipino elements like the bagoong butter, it didn't really taste like anything different. And to be honest, the bagoong butter didn't bring anything to the table the way it was presented to the side of the corn. It was too hard and just sat on the elote as you ate it. Kare Kare Tamales ($26) - 5/5 stars - UH-AMAZING!!! I could have eaten two, regular-sized tamales versions of this as an entree instead of two smaller appetizer size. The braised oxtail inside the tamales was soft and tender but the peanut butter veloute was *chef's kiss*. You definitely tasted kare kare but in an innovative way. I just wish they had some steamed rice or bread so I could soak up the sauce. I almost cried when they took the plate away because I didn't want to waste the sauce! Bicol Express Mezzelune ($38) - 4/5 stars - I was eyeing this originally but opted not to until the chef came out and talked us into it. And I'm so glad he did! This was delicious! Ironically enough, I just cooked traditional Bicol Express the week before and this definitely hit those notes without being a carbon copy of it. Again, where was the rice?! Only thing I can dock is that I felt like the pasta was a tad too thick and was chewy to my taste. Otherwise, I would definitely order this again. Was the sleeper hit of the dinner. Crab Fat Fried Rice ($38) - 5/5 stars - Crab? Crab fat? In rice?? Of course, sign me up! So delicious and a very generous portion. I wanted to hoard it to myself but I guess I had to share with Hubby. Would order this again. Ribeye Salpicao ($96) - 3/5 stars - Not my favorite of the bunch and this surprised me because I love rib eye. It came out medium instead of the medium rare we ordered and the taste was just not to my preference. It's possible that it was just overshadowed by the other excellent dishes we had. Likely will not order again though the portion was generous. Two minor things I wish they had but not enough to dock stars: Rice and spoons. Come on, now! This is a Filipino place! These two are musts? How else could I mop up all the delicious sauces they put on the food?! Service was impeccable! From front of the house host, bartender, and the chefs, the experience was very welcoming and polished. We sat at the bar and was able to chat with the chefs when they came to introduce themselves to us and they were the nicest people. You felt like you came to a friend's house and not an impersonal stranger's. Will definitely be back to try the other half of the menu we missed and we'll be bringing friends!

My wife and I stopped here a few weekends back for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised with just how much I enjoyed the food. The ambiance here is pretty generic, white and bright and very copy and paste of a lot of places popping up recently. The staff was super friendly while taking our orders and dropping the food off, which is always appreciated. I ended up ordering the Santo's Turkey Melt which is smoked turkey, grilled onions, Swiss cheese, and chipotle aioli served on sourdough with a side of french fries. The sandwich was really good and the same can be said for the french fries and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of fries given, so thumbs up to that. I forgot what the food costs so I visited the website and for some reason they don't think it's important to put that online, which is pretty darn stupid if you ask me. Overall, I didn't have a bad experience at Sandcouch Cafe and I would visit again in the future thanks to it's convenient location. The food was solid and the staff was friendly, and that's really all I need when ordering a sandwich.

It's conveniently located to the LA Convention Center, Crytpo.com arena, and LA Live which makes it a must visit before or after an event! I am obsessed with their happy hour, which offers healthy items at discounted prices with generous portions! I have been here so many times throughout the years but most recently found myself here during a busy World Cup match! Regardless, the service and quality of food was not sacrificed! I was greeted as soon as I got there and the bartenders were overwhelmed but still friendly and helpful. I was so tempted to get a margarita, since theirs are amazing, but decided to keep it dry and just get their vegan nachos. I was able to score a table outside on their lovely patio, which felt secluded enough from the main street. My food was brought out quicker than I thought and I was delighted, as I was famished! The vegan nachos here are fantastic and the happy price is only $10, which is a steal for what you get! They are costed in the most magical concoction of a bean puree, cashew cheese sauce, and guacamole which all have the most creamy, luscious and savory flavors. It's so hearty and well seasoned and not only filling, but you feel great after. Parking is pretty easy, as there are usually ample meters available nearby. I cannot wait to return again soon the next time I'm in Downtown LA! I am hoping to try more of their vegan options and next time I will for sure get a drink to go along with their delicious food!

I ordered the Espresso Martini, and it tasted pretty watered down and lacked the bold coffee flavor I was hoping for. On the bright side, the food was definitely the highlight. The mussels were flavorful, the calamari was crispy and cooked well, and the fries were delicious. Those dishes really saved the experience . Overall, I'd come back for the food, but I'd probably steer clear from cocktails and order a real drink. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, with authentic flavors and quality ingredients that stood out from the first bite to the last. The ambiance was welcoming and the art was tasteful. What truly elevated the experience was the service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the meal. They were quick to offer recommendations and ensured everything was perfect without being intrusive. We ordered the tostaditas de atún agua chile negro, beet salad, carne asada taco and Al pastor taco and watched the World Cup game. Distrito Catorce combines exceptional food, a great atmosphere, and top-notch service. It's the kind of place that leaves you planning your next visit before you've even finished your meal. Definitely plan on coming back to watch more World Cup games.

To be honest, I was already biased because his Smorgasburg pop-ups were consistently good. But Distrito Catorce is different , it's like art. My favorite dish was the tacos de papa with salsa macha. The crunch of the potato taco riding into the salsa macha and crema felt like home, but with some extra pop. His salsa game is on point. The scallion salsa on the ribeye taco was also gas. Lastly, I really dug the tostadita de atún. It hit perfectly on these hot summer days. Low-key, I still want to try the El Rey de Noche. Tacos de beef trompo are starting to hit LA, and dude was ahead of the curve making picanha-brisket tacos de trompo. Service is smooth too. The servers are helpful, and solid at the bar. Overall, it's a cool spot with a menu that feels unique to LA.

Parking: there's valet and several of lots but watch out for the $5 small print. I went 2 blocks up by the residential area and was able to find parking on a Saturday around 12pm. For drinks, i had a classic Aperol Spritz, which was very nice and refreshing. But I had to try Florida Man because of these ingredients (blueberry rested Ilegal mezcal, Lo-Fi vermouth, lemon, African basil). They have a really good beverage program, and I would like to come back more for drinks and try the Bro over Tomatoes. For food, I got the pop over benedict, honestly, I didn't know what I was expecting because I was assuming a regular benedict, but it was the most beautiful presention and delicious hollandaise sauce i've ever had in my life! The hollandaise has a little spice to it that blended well with the creaminess. I also had that barbecue oysters, which is basically oyster rockefeller. I really how they have fun names of their drinks as well as their food. The service were absolutely delightful. My server made me laugh. When I asked him, what should I get between one or the other drink, and he suggested, why not get one after the other which made me chuckle. A definitely a great sales person.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and I really loved the overall feel of the restaurant. The food was delicious, with a few hits and misses for my personal taste. The honey butter cornbread was absolutely delicious, and the quinoa with snap peas was another favorite--so fresh and flavorful! The baguette for the barbacoa sandwich was a little too hard for my liking, and the chicken was slightly dry for my taste, but the flavors were still really good overall. Definitely a great place to experience if you're in the Arts District and looking for something a little more elevated with that rustic, farm-to-table feel. I'd come back to try some of the other dishes!. Service was good as the food came out pretty quick.
