I like jalapenos but the Bronco Burrito had so many pickled jalapenos in it that it completely overtook the taste of everything else and we had to take a lot out. When I got there to pick up, they told me this was my order for the hangover, but they were calling it the borracho burrito on the ticket, which means hungover in Spanish. Wow wow wow!!! I was blown away by the Haus Burritto. I have to say, I was a bit skeptical about having a breakfast burrito. Usually, they all sort of taste the same...with the same salsa inside...Boring! Boy am I glad I stopped by here after the break in the heavy rainfall on a Saturday morning. 3 sunny side up eggs, smoked bacon, white american cheese, crispy tater tots, caramelized onions, spicy mayo; sides of spicy mayo & hot sauce. What a bad ass delite. I'm telling you guys, I didn't need any hot sauce to hide the typical blasé breakfast burrito. To top it off, instead of coffee, I ended up ordering a michelada! It really hit the spot. I'm usually a waffles, eggs, and coffee kind of guy. So, this was an unexpected treat. And I can't wait for the next visit soon! I recommend you do the same. PS. What a concept, Dog Haus is a ghost kitchen to a half dozen other niche restaurants. Want a breakfast burrito from Bad Ass? Go to Dog Haus! Want chicken? Dog Haus! Sliders, hot dogs, etc. Dog Haus! My burrito was stuffed full of meat, eggs, cheese and tots with spicy Mayo that added the perfect amount of kick. You can get your eggs either scrambled or sunny side up. Prices were reasonable. Customer service and ambiance here was pleasant to say the most and least. The burrito I had gotten was sub par. It felt less like a well rounded breakfast burrito and more like a bunch of ingredients placed together in a piece of tortilla. I have no complaints, every ingredient was fresh and cooked properly but my expectation was along the lines of what the name of the joint suggested of being a 'bad-a** breakfast burrito.' I'm not too sure I will return to try other items but I did leave more full than when I walked in so I am thankful. read more

That's a surprising combo. What got me were the combos. Bacon, Tater Tots, 3 sunny side up eggs, cheese, onions and sauce. $10.99. This one was for my boys so I left out the spicy mayo. They devoured this monster burrito. So good. The Fonz. $14.99. Pastrami, Taters, Eggs sunny side up, cheese and spicy mayo. Wow. That was gooooood. I shared mine because each half is hefty. We stuffed some greens into each bite to feel better about ourselves and that was an excellent fresh add if you're eating at home. Also got a side of fried. Not the healthiest but one of the tasties. We needed to come to the valley for an equipment repair and found Kick Ass Breakfast Burritos which had an address of 6501 Topanga Cyn but no phone number because they specialize in online and pick up only. We looked around and found that they the do a restaurant business aliased as Dog Haus...which was confusing to say the least but we were pleasantly surprised at the taste of the Kick Ass BBs. I got the chili and egg and she got the Beyond totaling to about $27 for 2 burritos!? The beyond was exceptional! They were great and the fact that they let our service dog chihuahua sit with us was a plus...Roomie place with big picnic type tables and clean bathrooms were a plus.... there was a breezie chill in the place but not unbearable...strongly recommend. read more

Ultimately, I thought this was far from an authentic breakfast burrito and relied heavily on cheese and fried tater tots for flavor, rather than having seasons, veggies, herbs, or sauces.. I have enjoyed these burritos twice now and I tell you that I would eat them once a week if I could! (I mean, I guess I can, but I shouldn't, lol). These burritos are full of ingredients and flavor! The staff is always fantastic and very helpful when assisting new patrons to determine what to choose based on interests, but the food unfortunately just doesn't bring me back. Today was my second time trying this place out in the past six months and I opted to go for their breakfast burrito selections. I ordered two different breakfast burritos to try and ate about half of each one. I'm a real foodie and didn't wanna potentially miss out on any action!! I ordered the Haus burrito & the Chachi burrito and they were very big. They definitely don't skimp or cheat you, but the flavors just didn't cut it for me. It just felt like I was eating big ass burritos without the flavors jumping off or exploding as I'd hoped for with each bite. Almost felt like eating, just to eat. As if it were an exercise and had no immediate gains or feeling of fulfillment. The Chachi burrito specifically had a very spicy sausage in it and I would advise against it unless that's your thing. It is very hot and overpowering and I couldn't do more than two bites. Have you ever tried Fat Sal 's? You know how it's just a bunch of food loaded up into servings and probably best reserved for late night drunken food binging in your 20's? That's kind of how I felt eating these big bad ass burritos, except it was early in the morning and way too much blandness to ever be considered good. Food for the sake of being food. Been here two times expecting an incredible food experience with explosive flavors that would bring me back but unfortunately I've struck out twice. But it finally took me like 10 minutes to come to the realization that this place is LOCATED & POWERED by Dog Haus. I ordered the Cajun Burrito and got it with sunny side up eggs. At first, I was worried because I thought the yolk was gonna be super runny and make my eating experience a MESS, but it was actually like 80% cooked and barely had any yolk running anywhere. The Cajun profile was on point and had the perfect amount of cheesy and gooey texture in it! Definitely want to come back to try the other burritos. Lastly, they have an awesome deal that's apparently ending on 4/30 where you can get a mimosa or beermosa for only FIVE DOLLARS!!!
