We tried the chicken tikka masal both times and the first time was good, but the second time it was made even better. We had a croissant that was decent and a tuna avocado that was also okay. The kouignn amann was also allright. The verdict is come for the chicken tikka masala bun! I am still intrigued by the remaining of the huge selection they have.

A couple of years ago, my co-worker introduced me to Peet's coffee and I have never looked back to Starbucks!! Peet's coffee is ALWAYS fresh and delicious! Plus, it's nice and strong for someone who has a higher tolerance for caffeine! haha. So, you can imagine my happiness when my girlfriend started to work here! I go here ALL the time for a white mocha or some genmai tea. LOVE IT! Everyone is super friendly, very personable, and offer amazing customer service! An example of this was last week when they offered a free iced coffee drink or freddo with a coupon online, I watched the staff that evening perform amazing customer service with a smile even though they were under a tremendous amount of stress with the line out of the door pretty much constantly! They really know what they are doing! I was very impressed! Special shout out to Lindy and Jessica for doing an amazing job and making all the regulars feel very special. I watched the whole staff working that evening go above and beyond that day (as they do every day)! I could list all the staff that I have had great interactions with, but that would make this extremely long. I love this place! This is really the best of Hayward at work here!! Yes!!!! Peet's is what a must have of my every day. First, the manager (the man with curly short hair) always make my drink WRONG. Whenever I see him making my drink, I feel nervous! But I just don't want to say out. Beside making wrong my drink, he is very nice!!! Second, JENAI! She is new to the store but she has the biggest altitude I ever see in this store. She keeps rolling her eyes not just with me but with other customers too. The way she asks"What you want?" I really want to slap on her face!!!!! People don't want to deal with your behavior in the morning. Other staffs very professional and friendly. I don't often being picky about customer services because I am doing a job that is all about customer service so I know what are their expectations; but this time I do get upset. read more

Before i found out that the CEO of Starbucks said " If you believe in traditional marriage, we don't want your business", i would just go to Starbucks. I went to Peet's twice before and it was pretty good. After hearing that negative comment from CEO Starbucks, i refuse to spend my well earned money on any of their products. And Peet's will be my choice from now on, obviously i believe in traditional marriage and am married myself. Peet's staff has always been friendly and make me feel more comfortable vs Starbucks staff. For some reason all their drinks and food seem more fresher and natural. read more

This is a very lazy Peet's. They will charge you extra for syrup and oat milk but more times than not they forget to look and just give you a crappy basic latte. We literally have to ask them to remake the drink or add syrup every time. I would never come back here again but some reason my gf likes Peet's. I think they over roast in the first place. Anyways Thai is the worst location. read more

Has become my favorite coffee spot near my house. Peet's mocha's aren't as bitter as the ones served @ starbucks. But the reason why I started frequenting peet's is because a few months back Starbucks raised their prices which actually makes them more expensive then Peet's. read more

I've been trying to go back, but sadly, like most of business, they closed temporarily. So now, a day right after reopening (June, 16, 2021) I anxiously waited just to get that frothed coffee again. Maybe I didn't have to ask for it, but I made sure that they're still making it, so I asked anyway. And once again, it made my morning heavenly! (I waited an hour for them to open just for this). You see what I mean? I don't usually finish my coffee in one sitting. All coffee lovers should try Seattle's Best!! For just a cuppa Joe with cream. It's frothed for you! (Though ask to make sure).
