First off I like this place. My first choice than Starbucks. Most staff are friendly, however this morning, a not so nice staff named Thomas served me. He didn't say good morning to me but blurted out "the line is over there!" I looked but there was no line and a guy was just entering in. Obviously I was at the counter already. I understand that I made a mistake entering the wrong entrance but hey there was no one there when I approached the counter. But he insisted berating me until the other guy who just came in told Thomas that I was there first. I just laughed and told Thomas he's so funny to make light of the situation. So I ordered my first drink and he obviously was rushing me to conclude my order but I was not finished as I have another drink and a muffin to order. No smile, no thank you, nothing at all. Nice interior and great place to work/study! I got a Matcha Latte with oat milk and they use Chobani oat milk so it was more creamy than Starbucks. It wasn't the best, but I don't think a medium was worth $6. read more

I really dont know why i come to this location in the morning. Its like going back to an abusive relationship. Wait times can either be reasonable or excruciatingly long. They are clearly understaffed but man its hard not to get a lil upset when you see an entire espresso machine not being used at peak rush. The interior makes for a great hangout space: it's roomy with big windows, there are outlets for charging your laptop, and free Wi-Fi. Just don't come here for the coffee itself. You can taste the cardboard cups it's served in more than the beverage. read more

But no place is better for roasted beans for great service for such a consistently amazing cuppa coffee as Peets! . Living in a sea of Starbucks's, it's nice to finally have some options here in the Northwest Valley. This Peet's is located in a new shopping center - The Vineyard's at Porter Ranch. Pre-pandemic, this location offered plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well. During the pandemic, they've removed their indoor seats and tables and have an expansive waiting area to allow guests to socially distance while waiting for drinks. Peet's is a little more expensive than Starbucks, but I think the quality of the drinks is better and it is more convenient if you live on the west side of Mason. Tip - when ordering ahead, be sure to do so prior to arriving to the store (the cell service at the shopping center is non-existent (especially for T-Mobile users). read more

I tried for the first time a hot Pumpkin Chai Latte - the person who made it- which I didn't ask her name - prepared an excellent delicious cup. It's was perfectly spicy, fragrant and consistent with what I know Peet's to be. I wish there were more around, but maybe if there were, they'd lose their charm and consistency and be ordinary and common just like the others! Thanks girls! read more

Can we just take a moment to appreciate these essential workers I know it's just coffee , but such a small part of our mornings really set the mood for our whole day. This team , specifically the morning staff at 9:15a on Saturday June 6th, and to the man working the register and running around like a mad man!! Hats off to you. They were overwhelmingly packed ! So much so my coffee got made a little rushed but they fixed that up no problem. Replaced my latte AND Gave me a complimentary beverage card , which wasn't at all necessary, but I thank you for your kindness tremendously. This is the second time this has happened to me and I am writing to let people who are on a time crunch to know that this is not a place to come for quick coffee. I placed my online order at 9AM, and got confirmation that the order would be ready by 915-920. I arrived at 920 and the whole store was so packed with some people who have waited for over 20+ mins. I even saw someone get a refund for their drink while waiting. I waited until 930 to receive my coffee with no apologies on the delay or the wait time. I'm a big Peet's fan so i was so excited it was coming to porter ranch! But what a disappointment this place is. I've given it three chances. I kid you not, ALL three times they messed up on my simple sandwich/coffee order. They forgot it twice, and the third time they got too confused with other sandwich orders and gave away mine. Not only was i annoyed but other ppl who were also waiting for their sandwich and coffee were equally annoyed. Ugh it's so frustrating. What the heck is the point of coming here for a nice relaxing coffee when after each visit your blood pressure goes up. I love Pete's Coffee. So why did I give it 3 stars? I went in yesterday morning to this new location and placed my order of a latte. Cashier (manager?) Pleasantly took my order but they forgot about my order. I waited patiently for about 10 minutes only to watch other orders completed and then customers that ordered after me get served as well. The cashier ended up doing other things and then finally noticed that I was still there sitting at the table looking at others drinks being made. She then reminded the barista about my order but did not acknowledge me. The least then could have done was apologize for forgetting my order or taking too long. I didn't get any of that. I was always a Starbucks fanatic, but after trying Peet's Coffee for the first time here, this is my new go-to place now! They just opened so it's fairly quiet here. There's ample amount of space to sit down and get your work done! I ordered the caramel iced latte and was hooked! It wasn't too bitter nor too sweet. This is by far the worst coffee place. It has the potential to be amazing, but the staff is so untrained and slow. We ordered two small caramel macchiatos and waited over 20 minutes to get it. While waiting we started talking to others who had been waiting 25 to 30 minutes. There was literally 6 of us in there. While watching, one of the girls got every single drink she made wrong. Are you paying attention at all to what people are asking for? One guy even failed to put the coffee in two drinks. How do you forget the coffee. I have been to Starbucks when there has been a full drive thru and full inside and never waited more than 10 minutes. This place does not even have a drive thru. This was so unacceptable period. I have been waiting for this location to open. Parking is convenient since they are one of the few stores here open now. The workers are all really nice, the coffee is perfect, not watered down at all, love the set up of the place (convenient seating for studying).
